    Whaddup Kenny! Great review of these guys. Definitely a nice break for those that need it. I actually have the second release of the Hydra Supreme 2-pack and doesn’t look like I’m missing out on much with the repaint. I also have Helmut from the recent villains wave, and though that burned face looks fantastic, I’m more connected with Helmut.
    Love the punk intro btw!

      Thanks for checking it out, Alexi! Certainly a good break for some collectors. I do think I still prefer the Helmut version, but I love that head sculpt that came with this set. Now I gotta figure out the display changes lol.
      And thanks for the intro compliment!

      The Zemo is really nice. I really like how well the second head turned out!!

    Got this two pack yesterday! It’s a really good pack. I was looking most forward for Arnim Zola. But Heinrich Zemo ended up being my favorite out of the two. I give it a good 8/10.

      I ended up switching out my Zola with this version. The Zemo is definitely a nice figure and I really like the detail on the alt head sculpt.

    I bought this set for the updated zemo. I sold Arnim. I’m only buying marvel legends updated with pinless joints. Mcfarlane has never made a pinless figure so I’ll never buy that old low tech figures. No growth in that line, no changes but people keep buying it but always have something negative to say about Hasbro. It’s weird.

      I agree it’s weird. I never understand people who think McFarlane makes superior figures. I’ve given up on collecting McFarlane outside of Superman. The ML line is heading in a nice direction and eventually the older pinned tooling will be phased out.

      @@encountered_culture funny because I am tempted by Superman figures.

      @Pensive_Melancholy_ I’d prefer someone else make DC figures, but Superman is a big part of my collection.

    Hot take, I think doing two packs is better for marvel legends then single releases AS LONG, as it comes with a full set of accessories

    • @encountered_culture
      @encountered_culture  Před 2 měsíci

      Agreed. I really don’t have any issues with two packs. Sometimes they are better than others, but at the end of the day it gives more people a chance at figures. However, the more accessories the better!

    12:50 He also has yellow gloves in the artwork but they have him white gloves. Another odd thing is position of the brown upper boot pieces. Because of the fur attachment, I believe these are the ones that were used with Dormammu. If you compare the boots with that figure, Zemo's are on different sides.

    • @encountered_culture
      @encountered_culture  Před 2 měsíci

      That’s true. Although I have so many extra hands that’s an easy fix (still odd though). As far as the boots, they are a slightly modified version of the Dormammu boots. Right above the hinge for each foot there is a crease that you see more prevalent on Dormammu. On the Zemo that crease has been filled in slightly. So there was some definite modding done.

      @@encountered_culture Then these must be Red Skull's boots. I assumed the fur would be keyed in, but I guess they just tightly overlayed them over the boots. I still think they're on the wrong sides because they curve on the outside more than the inside and the render that Dan Yun posted on X has them on the other legs.

    • @encountered_culture
      @encountered_culture  Před 2 měsíci

      @bapo22 the fur parts are not keyed in. They seem to match the Red Skull boots a little better than Dormammu (even though they are essentially the same boot with minor tweaks). I’m curious about the apparent difference between the render and the actual figure.

      @bapo22 Před 2 měsíci

      @@encountered_culture Tried posting a link to Dan's post but my reply gets automatically deleted. On the render, the dimples above the creases are on the outside part of the boots. Figure has them on the inside. Same thing happened with Wonder Man, Molecule Man, and Hank Pym, where their box render images had the upper boots swapped.

      @bapo22 odd. I’ll check out his posts on X
