I live in Anahuac, Texas on the Trinity River at the Bay, the birthplace of Texas! The San Jacinto Monument you have on your postcard shown on the Icon from the Battle Of San Jacinto happend on MY VERY FRONT LAWN! Santa Ana captured & was tied to a tree in my very yard!! Deer Park across the bay is where the Monument is. We are so proud of our heritage & we join every evening to watch the sun set on the Monument 🥰. We recreate the battle here at Fort Anahuac! Loved that my yard was your post card! So random! 😇👏😍

Thank you for the great video. I started collecting post cards and will eventually sell some on eBay. RPPC = Real Photo Post cards, thank you for the HTL = Hold to light tip. I prefer RPPC and used sent post cards with post office cancellations. The stories/ messages on the back are great. Today I read a story of a boy writing his Grandma telling her about how the pox makes his throat itch and he has to eat oatmeal.

Hi. Thanks for watching. I found the tape dispenser on eBay. I don't remember a brand. I searched "heavy duty metal desktop 2" tape dispenser." Also, the tape is just the cheapest 2" packing tape I can find. It works just as well as the expensive kind!

Did eBay add a cheaper way to sent postcards with tracking?
Yes, with eBay standard envelopes you can ship postcards with tracking for less than a dollar. Also, I have found that it doesn't really matter much if there is writing or not for most postcards. The subject matter is the most important part. However, for an extremely rare postcard, it can command more without writing. Also, condition is important. Thanks for watching!
