Great advice for those less familiar with those features. A very helpful explanation of the basics of MIDI auto accompaniment. Although I have the same level of experience I have never bothered to explain it to others, so many thanks for sharing your knowledge. Much appreciated ...
I just tried double tap at ending button on my 20years old yamaha and it works... Learn something new every day.
You learn something every day ! Thanks, Chris - it's been a while since we heard from you but your videos are ALWAYS helpful and informative. The 'double-click' technique on the ending button is very useful - can't wait to try it on my T5 !
Keep the videos coming !

David, you make very good tutorials! I love drum fills. Do you have a clip on how to create the drum fills and apply to variables, especially on Genos?

Beautifull br Can you do a creating your own style also in yamaha PSR s series do the same idea of Geno's ? Also Yamaha when you creating a style it only goes to limited sound pad when we change to different style which gives odd sound is that the way Yamaha designed?Pls let me know Thankx
Gooood gracious me Sir you are remarcable😯🙂. Thank you for these tips, waw. May I just say, or ask if you have more advice to give on this remarcable instrument. Is good to know and apreciate it and it makes it easier to interact with it. Bless you, remarcable teacher, thank you.
Hi David and Chris it is so nice to watch your Tips! Thanks again. Maybe you can show us, to copy an audio file and put it in the storage for using it within the multi pads section and then play it together with your song. For example; just your copied voice , Thanks in advance
+Walter Kagel Great suggestion, we'll put it on the list to make a video about.
Thank you very much for your explanations, I would like to know if it is possible to program the fade out command with the registration memories for the Tyros 5.
Thanks Boy’s.🤩🎹🎹❤️❤️👏🏼👏🏼
How can I raise the volume of the multi pads to match the levels of the regular left hand voices in the accompaniment? The multi pads seem so low in volume. Thanks so much!
At all hou tips you have always a Good reverb on the keyboard. Do you have that Made or have you the keyboard so programmerd Sorry for mij bad english.
Works for PSRs975 too👌
Any tips on using the vocal harmonizer triggered by right hand playing?
Hi,
Great tip! So simple, but hard to find at the same time. Would be good to make more short videos like this one on other sections of the T5.
Please can you show us how to enhance the sound through the graphic equaliser page and then save changes to default?
+Tyrosmatt Thanks. We've got a video on using the EQ coming soon, stay tuned.
Tyrosmatt
Is that another speaker next to the originally supplied speaker?
Does anyone know if it is possible to make a rallentando with a style

I have a tyrus 4, and have been given a memory stick with it. I understand it's full of tunes etc. Can you show me how to use it ? I want to know whats on it, how to use it, etc.
I am looking for a tyros 5 to buy, is have you got any?
Nice! Does this double click for slowing down (=ritardando) work also at Tyros 4?
Best regards from Finland, Mikko
Yes, it does.
Hi David and Chris
I'm a long-time user of the PSR 630 keyboard. I have now purchased a Tyros 5 workstation. I think it is a good musical instrument. I am still discovering its new possibilities. Can you please help me with the following question?
If I play a song with some preset style, I have the possibility to change the VOICE registers in my right hand quickly thanks to my OTS setting and the PART SELECT buttons.
Is there any possibility that also the song has settings for the right-hand registers saved with the possibility to quickly select from the preset registers, e.g. using the OTS buttons? Or do I have to store each song in the register memory with the PART SELECT preset and use another register memory for each additional VOICE register? Of course, there is the possibility that I select the appropriate register memory with the preset registers for the selected song, that means, I have to have a note which register memory to select. In addition, this requires the use of two buttons - song selection and register memory selection. I find this very complicated for such a high quality instrument.
Thank you for your reply,
Jirka from Czech Republic
Double-tap slow-endings > very useful > Thank You.
Glad it helped!
Does this double tap on ending also work on the Yamaha PSR-SX600?
Regards,
Dave
