The show was really never the same after Rick left. The feeling of a family between the group disappeared and all the communities started having conflicts. We went from scenes like this and the group sleeping huddled like wolves in Alexandria to Michonne and Maggie fighting about supplies. It’s crazy because it’s like the plot acknowledged what had happened to the show.
Well to an extent, all of the conflict definitely makes sense BECAUSE of Rick being gone. Get what I’m saying? I mean I will always love the walking dead but the show fell off for me when they killed Carl off. Still watched it but haven’t rlly kept up with it. Last episode I’ve watched fully is Negan killing alpha.

My best friend passed away 2 years ago from cancer. His favorite character was Daryl, the way Rick walks up to Daryl before they hug is how I feel it will be when i finally see him again 💯😔

Shane was most definitely fair weather betrayer type of so called best friend to Rick in allowing Lori to come between their best friendship once he had learned Rick was still alive. True trustworthy loyal best friend would had stepped aside and back off to allow Rick and Lori to reconnect and fixed their marriage issues as married couple especially betrayal cheating issue over himself. They had thought Rick was dead but it was still equally very much deepest emotional hurtful cheating betrayal for alive Rick by Lori the wife and Shane who was Rick's best friend with no ifs nor buts about it. It doesn't change fact that both had deeply betrayed Rick alive or dead as his wife and best friend in their emotional and physical cheating betrayal when comes to Rick who turns out alive in the end. Their deepest devastating cheating betrayal as Rick's wife and best friend can never be erased and forgotten as if it had never happened nor take Rick's own rightful justifiedly deepest devastating cheating betrayal pain away because Lori and Shane had thought Rick was dead.
I totally agree on this one, I don't understand why so many people don't like her, because she is lesbian? Or what? But I really loved her! She was one of my ten favorite characters! She still is, I was crying when she died it was so freaking sad to see her go like that!💔😞

My favorite part of this show has always been the family they all created with each other. They share an unbreakable bond and are willing to put their lives on the line for one another. That’s the heart of the show for me.
dude that was so cute 😭 they're not even best friends- THEY'RE FAMILY AT THIS POINT 🙌 but I wish Glenn, my fav character was there.. his death was so unfair and he definitely could've survived longer.
Daryl was the real brother everybody says Shane was a good guy and that he should have been alive and they would have made it better but Darrell was Rick's actual brother him holding that gun for him was just so strong symbolic because it showed he knew he would survive.
God this scene always makes me smile, the way rick just instantly knows he has to hug his brother(in everything but blood), the way Daryl just leans into him
