    Hi: Just watched the conversation about the pipe at the front, yes it can be covered with a box column and painted the color of the wall and will be less conspicuous. Your plans are coming together nicely. You are already harvesting from your garden, big up.🌱🌱🌱

    Orie is advising you wrong about hanging the washing in the front of your house as that is not a good look and would obscure your garden. Just seen one of your later videos I like your custom made washing lines at the side of your house. I really enjoy your Vlogs😅

    Hello OrryK - Linet and Charlow building a beautifully designed home. Their kitchen garden is really well organized. Linet the bougainvillea plants don’t like the cold, also they do well in drought, water the plants early morning or late at nights only at the root.

    Your Washing Machine is just in the right spot, just my own opinion, you don’t need to bring it outside, since you are not managing space, build whatever cabinets needed to house the cleaning agents on top/side of it there and except stated by the Manufacturer it works with either liquid or powdered detergents, although some Machines has two portions in that small compartment you opened from the left hand side, one side for liquid and the other for powdered.

    I agree with your friends suggestions.I think the panels on the wall would be nice , as I don’t know of the other named mentioned. I also agree with using all white paint ,and I think an Island in the kitchen is what you were trying to describe. I also agree to enclose that area of the veranda, and make into a wash room . I also agree with the Oval dining table as apart from its kid safety it would compliment the curves in your windows . Your painter/ decorator made great suggestions.. well done guys. Blessings

    It's an island you're referring to in the kitchen area where the stools go around it.
    Also, you're right about placing the soap powder in the top drawer of the washer. That's where you even put liquid detergent. The manual actually shows you. Don't always listen to the "know it all" people. Not because someone lives abroad that they always know better than you lol.

      Linet - the way your house is placed on the land, you did not plan or configure for a pool. If a pool was in the plan, then the house should have been positioned further to the front of the land. The septic and well would also have been placed differently. Going forward, work with what you have. Create beautiful walkways with flower beds, water feature, bird baths, a pergola or gazebo, fire pit, outside cooking and lounging. That’s purely my suggestion. I have studied interior and exterior decorating plus being a realtor in the past. So speaking from 40 plus years of experience

    Please do not put the the washing machine outside especially that you invested in a very good brand and spent all that money. it will parara and dust gets into the inside parts even if you buy those covers. Leave the machine where it is like you had intended in the original design and get a better designer who knows how things work and should be maintained. Also don't put that much detergent in the machine you will ruin your machine with that much soap. If you can be buying the liquid one the better. These new machines require very little soap at most 2 table spoons not a full cup. I have watched all your house videos and I know you're looking for content but all these people you keep inviting to give opinions you will end up with a house that doesn't look elegant and classy.
    people will give you ideas according to their own taste and some of them don't even have good taste or they have old fashioned ideas.

      I agree that she should leave the washer indoors but I don't think that her friend meant any bad with her advice.
      She did give her good advice about the paint colour and so on. The girl is her long-time friend so why are you instigating division by encouraging her to get a better designer? And who says 2 tbsp of soap powder? There are instructions on the detergent packaging as to how much to put for each load.

    • @mercynamikoye9084
      @mercynamikoye9084 Před 6 měsíci

      @@ShervelJA the detergent packaging is meant to sell more detegent. Speak or even watch videos from long time technicians who service these machines watakuambia stop using too much detergent the packaging is meant to sell more. I learnt by accident one day i forgot to put soap in one load im finding clothes are washing as if they have soap only to figure out all the residue from all the previous washes was just remaining on the clothes. I stopped following those instructions and watched like 100videos from experts explaining this. Imagine spending 100k plus si you want to protect your devices?

    • @ShervelJA
      @ShervelJA Před 6 měsíci

      @@mercynamikoye9084It's the type of detergent that you're using. I used a cheap one from Aldi once and it left residue on my laundry. I only use Persil, Ariel or Gain and I don't have this issue. Personally, I feel like 2 tbsp of powder won't clean my clothes.

So to each their own we can't save everyone until they want to learn new things
