Hallo from Pretoria, South Africa. Thank you for your tutorial. Can you please tell me what is the normal settings you use on the 9D (what settings would you use for cotton). My machine was working perfectly and it was moved to another area and now it is totally messed up and for the life of me (two days struggling and thread and fabric wasted), I cannot get it to work neatly again. Please help me out!

Hey Sis, I have the exact same overlocker as yours, not sure what’s wrong but the stitch is very loose, I think I threaded it properly but it keeps doing this 😞

Hey Ontlametse sorry for the late response mntase, is it your thread that's being cut or the fabric when you are overlocking?
@@DintlePondo it was the fabric, fiddled with it until I saw it sew without cutting the fabric, iv just got to set the machine right as the stitching is loose. I'm learning, even its vocab will come 😄
Hey D, my thread gets cut off. After rolling itself around the metal next to the needle. I really don’t know why.
Is this the lower thread or you top thread?

@@lufunomakongoza534 Okay this is very tricky as I've never experienced this before but my advice at the moment is to re-thread your overlocker because sometimes it could be that the machine is threaded incorrectly. Always make sure your thread goes through the tension discs otherwise thread will continue to break. Always use the right needle even in your overlocker and set the right tension for each fabric. If this still doesn't help you are more than welcome to send me a video of what exactly it is your machine keeps doing then I can show it to my lecturers so we can further assist you and if we can't then the next best suggestion is to take your overlocker in for servicing. But if you don't mind DM me either on Instagram or Facebook and I'll do my best to help you solve your problem.

Hi Laura🌻 I have yet to buy a new overlocker😅 they are quite pricey but if I were to change I'd like either a singer or brother overlocker

Where can I buy this
You can buy an Overlocker at Game but game only has the Empisal. You can also buy an Overlocker at Takealot.com and Makro if I'm not mistaken. However, I bought on Facebook market so it's basically a second hand
