For real. I saw then in concert in 1978 in Jacksonville, FL. I was on my boyfriend's shoulders and had a white neck scarf on. I handed it to Punky and he took it and wrapped it around his neck. He kept it on all night. I was in 😍 love. Good times💜🎶🎵 😊
Absolutely fantastic song... when I first heard this song I was blown away, one of my all time favourite ANGEL songs off my all time favourite album by the band! \m/
Good to see a heavy metal band like angel still playing , for they are one of the1970s early heavy metal bands, they have an obvious influence bands like the darkness uk , and hallas and Nestor, Sweden and virginsteele usa and stryper musically !
This is one of vintage Angels' very best songs. Also the most challenging with that into & its slightly changing time signature. Billy Orrico played Barry Brandt perfectly, even with the mallets. Miss the kettle drums though, lol.
Just love Angel, disappointed that they cancelled their show in Liverpool NY, Punky and Frank are still just as good as they were when they first came out, would be cool to see them with Barry, Felix and Greg, RIP Mick.
Your "Winter song" is one of the best X-mas songs ever. I recently asked a radio station here in Germany to play it - which they did. All the best to you, guys.
My 1st RUSH concert and Neal about beat us to death. All general admission, back in the day, and we were right on stage. Angel was a great band that should have made it and didn't.
@@trowerz We would have loved to have you with us. We were all 15/16. Walked from my house up the hill to Racer Arena in 5 mins. Just a great, great show.
Bought WHITE HOT from Tower Records on VINYL on release. KLOS and KMET radio stations repeatedly played "Don't Leave Me Lonely" and "Ain't Gonna Eat Out My Heart Anymore" (all from memory, and that says a lot being 66)
Have their LP White Hot - Saw em in '78-ish? - I tried getting into them - Winter Song & Animals cover, but thats about it - Not my thing, but gotta give Punky & his mates credit for 'doin what they BELIEVE IN'...
God Love’em. Somebody’s Got To I Got Such a Laugh Saw a Live Performance Clip of them in the 70’s The Keyboard Player, The Poor Tech that had to Set up and Take Down… How Many Buttons do You Need
Maybe they had their moment in the 70s, although they already seemed ridiculous to me, but now these guys are sad. How ridiculous are people who don't accept their age. The guitarist is really sad with the horrible cosmetic surgery he has on his face, and the wig.
Judas priest , black sabbath , led zeppelin , foghat , soundgarden , alice in chains , spiritual beggars , ufo , thin lizzy , black label society , corrosion of conformity , van halen , status quo , rush , metallica , scorpions , dixie witch , iron maiden , sasquatch , orange goblin , deep purple , black oak arkansas , saxon , venon , ministry , etc ..... Is cool ----- angel ???????????? kkkkkkkkkk 👎👎👎
Incredible, epic song. I think rock opera quality. Have their albums on vinyl!!! Never got as famous as they deserve.❤❤❤
I cannot put into words how cool it is to have them back!

Hear the Angels join the choir ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, I waited every year for KSHE 95 to play it on Christmas day.
@@st.louiscritic960 So do I.
One of the greatest tunes in rock history
What a brave little soldier..
.. performing with a broken arm. You can hear the pain in his voice, poor love..
PUNKY MEADOWS
I saw them with RUSH and Blue Oyster Cult in 1976. Just a great voice with talented band.
Wow what a triple bill 😮

@@robwhitmer5294 😭what an awesome era of music..Montrose, Trower, Nugent, Frank Marino, Humble Pie…🤘
I remember liking Angel just because their logo looked cool and it read the same upside down.
I’m only here because of Punky’s Whips (hat-tip: Frank Zappa & Terry Bozzio)

Turn the singer up please.

Looks like somebody spent a lot of money on plastic surgery! 😂

You only know 25 bands?
Death Angel for me.
Drop the all white thing already. I get a Spinal Tap vibe from this. Sinful was a great album though.
You meant “venom”?
