Thank you for this. I wear masks 5 days a week, 10 hours a day (as a teacher) and I need my masks to stay secure. This is a simple tutorial and I greatly appreciate it.

Thank you so much I bought mask like this by accident and was just browsing to see if I could find an easy way to tie them. This is perfect 👌🏾

Thank you so much Jan. I have hand stitched several of your very comfortable no-sew masks and now that there is a way to make some of them go around the ear comfortably, I might add, I can make some for my older friends! I love using t-shirt material!

Oh Jan, this is wonderful. I do have a very special friend with severe R.A. that cannot raise her arms up much, this would be fantastic for her and others I know as well. I too, will like this. You have made it so easy to do, at least I hope to learn that tie method. You are a genius for sure. I will pass this news and along to many. God Bless you and stay safe and healthy. Thank you. Claudia

What an awesome idea Jan. I just love your version because it allows you to use more options. I had no elastic back in March when the mask making marathons took off. So I pulled all my macramé ropes out and my beautiful beads out and did the same thing but used the bead to adjust behind the ear. I do like yours better because I can use a softer tie and eliminate the beads. Thanks for being so kind and sharing your creativity!

My son is an executive chef and is really having a problem with his mask and those in his kitchen. The masks are either too tight, too loose or just uncomfortable. As long as I can make them the way you just did, they will be so happy!!! Thank you thank you thank you!!!!!

Thank you for this. At the very beginning I found your no sew tshirt mask. I did a little sewing and tweaking and made it my own. I used cord locks on the tie. I like these better than over the ear. Thanks!

Thanks for the great idea! I had given up on my tie masks! A couple of optional tips that work for me; it was easier to just tie a regular loose knot with the bottom string and go from there. This works fine for my masks!. I also chose to leave the bottom strings long to tie loosely around my neck so when the mask is off, it's easy to pull up and put on. I love it....thanks again!

Great idea! ....but If you make and adjust your whole ear loop first, you won't have to cut & waste a lot of your Tshirt material. Just adjust it to where you have a couple of inches at the bottom & you won't have to cut. Hope that makes sense. Lol
Thank you for sharing this video.

Thank you for this tip. I would still keep the longer ties to wrap around my neck to remove the mask but still have it hanging from my neck to I can place it back on.

Thank you so much!! I bought a bunch (150) of masks at work which are non refundable. They are anti-fog masks but I didn't realize they had tie ons... It was a pain having to tie/untie everytime I used them. They are good quality masks but just with tie ons!! This procedure will allow me to save and use them. Also, I'm hoping I can teach my son how to adjust with these masks versus the elastic loop ones which seems uncomfortable for a 4yr old sometimes

I love the concept, but I just can't make out the special first side, after "make a loop" because of the black material. I see how many others 'get' it, but I'm just lost. : (
