- Buonasera, for a while now you've been asking me to make a video about how I budget, the types of healthy meals I cook and how I find time to do everything so I thought I'd make a different type of cooking episode this week and invite you into my Tuscan kitchen in real time to see exactly how I prepare a gourmet healthy dinner for two on a budget. Absolutely loved this vid! I made this meal for me and my boyfriend last night and it was so good. All the tips about cooking chicken were brilliant! My chicken was moist on the inside and crispy/golden on the outside - so thank you, I finally know how to pan-fry chicken! I also regularly make the immunity boosting broth which is delicious. Kylie, I always enjoy your vlogs, this one really captivated me. Good on ya! Its actually a very clever thought through presentation on a meal. From being clear on how to do this, costs and even my fave part - watching you do as I think many younger cooks (maybe older) need to grasp - keep moving and clean as you go.As someone who trained up kitchen hands at the cafe in the days gone by. It was my main focus - between prep of one thing - clean - if you are using your hands on product - clean between - fresh instruments close by to use once. Of, course this was commercial and in ones home anyone can do as they feel happy. It was all about reminding them, break habits picked up from home, this is important as a food handler. etc. Keeps your head clear as you work too.So happy to see you casually mention these points without getting patronising. Excellent!
There is another aspect I respected, you acknowledge the levels of cooking skills of your viewers. Those little extra words on some will know this, for others this may be something you have not considered. So important in instruction.You reminded me how easy and better home made aioli is - thank you! Hey - get that tin of tomatoes and tuna and show the tips that make some really simple italian dishes sing - never forgotten you mentioned your budget living. Little cash does not mean poor food.
