It's autumn or fall here in Tuscany, Italy and I decided to take you with me picking apples and baking an apple tart on a cozy rainy afternoon in the Italian countryside. I love your videos. My Italian is rusty. It is my favorite language I have 3 years of classes, 4months with a tutor, 2 months with an Italian speaking only class, 1 month living in Tuscany living in an apartment and I listen to videos and music in Italian. I learn new words from you and anyone I can. I’m am a fine artist who paints people in realism and with compassion and Italian mediums. My preference is Italian anything. Thank you for your videos of Italian anything. Would LOVE to be fluent but it’s going to take time since I live in the U.S.

The scent of the perfume, and the experience of applying it, creates a response in YOU; in turn, you then are living in the manner through which the perfumes makes you FEEL, and you express this to us through the videos. Based on the cars, the fashion and the shot of a 50+ y.o. Anna Magnani, I'd say it around 1961-63 or so. I'm actually old enough to remember. I'm sure it's been said before. But, clearly, you're an old soul and sometimes out of step with our less refined times. Every week you project the elegance of the past you so admire, without losing also a grounded earthiness that comes through in the authenticity of your work. I'm sure everyone appreciated the comment about the perfume. Not only is it further proof of your attention to detail, but it references the aforementioned elegance that you embody.

Salve Kylie. The newspaper can be dated to early 1960s because at 14:53 there is a picture of several automobiles. The car in the upper left corner is a Chevrolet Corvair. This model was made between 1960-1964. I love your videos and share your love of Italy especially in the autumn. I have been slightly sad because in 2020 US citizens cannot go there because of Covid. Keep making videos, they make me happy.
Early '60s for sure... and the British Ford Anglia was sold from 1959 through 1968.

When my Grandparents died, I found many newspaper pages stuffed in drawers as lining. The papers were from the 1950s, how wonderful it was to read the issues of those days...and frustrating when I couldn't find THE OTHER HALF!!!! Bellissimo!

Hi Kylie! Actually you did pasta frolla wich is the base for crostata! Your recipe seems delicious and so different from any apple pie that I have ever tried! Usually I do the base with pasta frolla, fill it with a slightly lemon scented crema pasticcera and on top I cover it with slices of raw apples (previously marinated in a bit of lemon juice - amaretto di Saronno and sugar), pine nuts (pinoli) and sultanas (uva passa), all in the oven. This is the recipe we do in my family and it reminds me of my grandfather, who used to prepare it like this! Maybe my version is more summery, but yours is perfect for this time of the year!

Kylie I was in Tuscany last September and October and the views in your videos bring me back. I love San Gimignano, Chianti, Pienza, Cortona, and many more. i miss the dinners at poggio alloro, podere spedalone, sant agnese, and lamole. lAnd since this pandemic has brought travel to a halt I am glad to get at least a piece of my favorite places to travel through your videos. Its the best food in the world in my opinion.

The sound of the rain was brilliant! I can smell the cinnamon and the vanilla. Your passion is palpable. We haven’t had rain in Las Vegas since April and I haven’t been in Tuscany since 2006. I am learning Italian and I was surprised that I knew a little more than I thought I did. I can thank my dad for that, but I sure wish he was here to help. He was fluent in Italian and Sicilian, but I didn’t have access to the inexpensive apps that are now available when he was alive. THANK YOU for keeping my heritage alive. Always lovely to see Tuscany. I bought a home in Castel novo di val di cicina last summer but alas, due to Corona we have not been able to get to Italy since last Dec. I was watching some old videos from 1900’s of people on the street doing their everyday choirs or going to work,etc but I just notice everybody was dress so elegant the woman with below the knees dresses and man with dress pants and they looks so nice , I wish I was living back then or people would dress like that. I would love to see a bathroom renovation. I've been studying Italian for about 7 months. I found out I am 50% Italian from DNA testing. My husband and I went to lucca Italy and rented a amazing home on the hill outside of town. I fell in love with Italy. We are going back as soon as they let America fly in. I would love to get dule citizenship from my grandfather side who was born and spent his childhood in Italy. I find its a bit difficult. Anyway its so nice to see you so happy with your boyfriend. 💚💛
