  • Sky News Contributor Prue MacSween says Jacinda Ardern is a "grandstander" not a leader.
    "Look she’s not a leader ... she is a grandstander, who has tapped into this fangirl stuff where suddenly she's saying all these woke things that people are grasping on to," she told Sky News host Peta Credlin.

    Ardern was more interested in earning international acclaim for herself than what was best for New Zealanders. She travelled anywhere in the world where she was to be feted by politicians and the media. Her image was carefully cultivated and constantly tweaked. By the time she jetted off to California last year she had taken on the air of a Californian cult member circa 1969. Her reaction to the Christchurch massacre struck me. She should have stood there as Jacinta Ardern, the PM of all New Zealand, and expressed the grief of the nation. But instead she dressed up like a Muslim woman, which she isn't. There was a wardrobe of Islamic garb for the cameras. It reminded of the time in 2018 Justin Trudeau went to an official dinner in India dressed in Indian garb. He should have gone as a Canadian because that is what he represented.

She got hounde out of office by a hostile toxic media who worked some people into such a frenzy treats were made on her four year old daughters life as well ass her parents and partner.. As for her time in office. New Zealand is a much better place for having her leadership, and quite frankly I get really pissed off when foreigners interfere in our politics. YOU KNOW NOTHING

    A leader gets results - Ardern failed in everything she touched. A leader doesn't cut and run when the going gets tough. Ardern abandoned her supporters because she put her own job prospects before her country, and her voters, just so that she can lord it to her fangirls on the international stage. She was the most authoritarian PM NZ has ever seen
    The last straw is her acceptance of a title ('dame' )when she is an avowed republican. Hypocrisy on steroids. Even Helen Clark, her mentor, had the grace to put her money where her mouth was and get rid of the titles , and doesn't have one herself. The worst thing that John Key did was bring titles back so he could become a 'Sir' Titles have no place in modern NZ and should definitely not be awarded to ex PMs just for doing ( or failing to do) their very well paid jobs.

    Ardern has sold herself to the highest bidder, including William of Wales. Not bad for an avowed Republican
    there is a one syllable name for such a thing, not repeatable here.
    the closest she ever got to leadership was tyranny and as i have never seen a good refutation of my account as to why she quit I still hold that her fragile little girl ego simply could not cope with the notion that she was deeply hated - which she discovered in the holiday season at the beginning of last year - and had to run away.
    I want her extradited preferably in chains, to NZ to stand trial for her crimes, including breach of the Nuremberg Code, the NZ Bil of Rights, 1990 which forbids medical coercion, terrorism ( trying to terrorize people into the jab, fraud (self explanatory) false imprisonment ( the lockdowns both unrepecedented AND irrational) and any other charged a trained legal mind can come up with

    If Ardern was a good leader she would have been offered interesting and renumerative positions post resignation but there were none. It is obvious that she has been shunned. Her finale trip to New York was shrouded and almost furtive. What had she done wrong that made her tanted goods?

  • @AdvocateOfJamaica
    @AdvocateOfJamaica Před 10 měsíci +1

    I have to admit, she does seem full of it. There are old clips (roughly a year or so now) of her on various NZ news channels denying "rumours" (which clearly turned out to be true) that she was resigning. She stated in no uncertain terms that she intended to lead her party to the next election, only to do complete 180 and resign a few months later.
    My take: at least finish out your term and take your loss on the chin, instead of leaving it to your colleagues to clean up your mess. She put Hipkins in the worst possible position of having to take a loss so early in his leadership--no way he was going to win based on her performance.
    Where is she now? Took a cushy job at Harvard and is working with the Royals on climate change--which has nothing to do with NZ. Seems politics was a stepping stone for her career more than a means to make her country better.

    Ardern's grandstanding was obvious from the very beginning.
    she just HAD to make a big song and dance about being a "working mother" and even waved her new born baby around at the UN
    but i was not impressed, not when Empress Maria Theresa (died 1783) of the Holy Roman Empire had SIXTEEN children and actively ruled an empire as her husband , (in whose name she held the crown because of the Austrian Salic law) was a good natured drone
