I have an LX would the windows trick work? I literally just tried it and it didn't. Is there a way to set it up to do that through the menus? Great video BTW!

I have a 2013 Accord XL w/out navigation (one screen / not two)… How do I play the radio and get Siri or my iPhone GPS app to work / interrupt the radio audio with driving directions?

Nor the LX model. And some of it doesn't apply at all to a non-Navi model. So, the video should indicate in its title which couple of models that it *does* work for, rather than misleading the reader to think that it applies to *all* Accords of this year.

LOL, thanks for letting me know about the window opening trick. After all this time, I didn't know this happened. Bought my Accord SE brand spankin new. Now it has around 240,000 kms (Canada), slammed with Vossen wheels and an airbag setup.

the car is full with leather seats back camera, chrome wheel. well the point is it has everything except navigation. my question is if i will be able to put navigation in the future? hope you answer soon. thanks and keep the good work!!

I have Honda Accord 2015 full option but don't have any side cameras. only rear. Or do I have to activate or enable the side cameras if they are there?

If you press the lock button twice and hold it, it will roll the windows up back, even the sunroof (from both open & tilt position).
does the smart key open the doors by touch on all models of the honda accords or just specific ones?
Another awesome video Jason! I'm about to take delivery on the 2013 accord coupe ex tomorrow! (Unless the frankenstorm stops that from happening. Do you happen to know if the ex model has the trunk open button on the actual trunk? I know I saw it on the exl but didn't see it on the Lx-s.
I am laughing at myself right now! I didn't know about the trick of the windows/sunroof opening until I accidentally pushed the button and freaked myself out! Thank you! :-)

I didn't see your email address on the video. But I do appreciate you doing a video to help explain the car. I have a 2014 Accord ex-l v6. I have 2 questions.
1. On the back up camera I have mine on wide angle, you see 3 yellow lines, 2 solid and 1 dotted. What is the distant for the dotted, and single lines. I know I am still going to hit something backing up as I haven't figured this out yet.
2. The 16gb HDD. Why do they make it so hard to get music on this thing. Would be nice to just transfer I tunes library. If you make them to MP3's does the Cover & Artist still show up along with title of song? And how do you or can you erase something on the HDD?

Yes the Crosstour bass and sub woofer sound better due to the placement of the speakers and the rear hatch. I have had good luck with letting the sub woofer 'break in' by turning the sub level to its highest for about 6-8 weeks. Then turn it to a normal listening level. It wont ever sound like the Crosstour but it does get better and deeper sound.

2014 Accord Sport - the windows open and multiple rear view camera angles do not work. Is it supposed to? I had a 2004 Accord prior and it did (windows anyway, no camera).
If only when you were locking the car you could hold the lock button and they would go up. I do love this feature though on my 2011 Coupe. In less than two weeks I am picking up my 2014 Sedan Sport!

Yes you will have a 2013 Accord soon. The version in Saudi Arabia will have rear window shades and the 18"sport wheels on the V6 model.

hello HPJ ... did they remove the opening of the windows in the LX model? I recently got the LX 2013 model and I could not make this work. My 2010 LX had this feature and I used it on a daily basis. Is this feature hidden somewhere in the LX version, or is it available only on EX version in 2013?
The multi view is on the Accord coupe EX and the Accord sedan EX-L and you use the menu/sel button

I have a '14 stick, very rare car.
Jason, i found a couple more things out... the max speed that adaptive cruise will work is 90mph... dont ask(it involves a sonata turbo :-) ) secondly, on the adaptive cruise, if you hold down the speed up button it will go to the next 0 or 5mph and then increase by 5mph from there on... up to 90.
Can you also close the windows & sunroof with the remote? Or can you only get them to open?
with the accord 2013 sport model, that doesn't have 3 different views for the rear facing camera does it?
The multi angle rear view camera starts on the Accord EX-L
Will 2013 Civic Sedan EX do the same with the remote starter - dropping windows?
Do you press unlock, and then press hold unlock a second time? or just press hold unlock on its own?

I Like this channel, I think your next review (Part 3) Honda Accord should be lane keep assist system LKAS as part of the Advanced Driver Assist Sytem ADAS. I try to explain this to my customers with mixed results.
Can I assume that the change to Siri that you mentioned took place on the 2013 model?? Also, does the 2013 Crosstour have the same adaptive cruise that is on the Accord?

I Recently got a 2013 Honda Accord EX-L and i don't know how to turn on the LED kind of looking lights/ there is like a thin slip of lights that i dont know how to turn on and its right where my head lights are. it would be great if you could tell me what switch to turn on so those LED looking lights would turn on
On the left side of the steering wheel, turn your headlights all the way up. Be sure to switch them off whenever you leave the car/when the engine is off or else you'll kill the battery.

Yes Siri thru Bluetooth took place in the 2013 Accord but in the 2012 Civic. The Accord Touring is the only Honda vehicle to have ACC as of now.

Please help me! I got my windows tinted the other day and I think they left the battery on too long. Long story short the car will not start. When I put my foot on the brake and hit the start button all I hear is a single click. my smart key will still unlock and lock all the doors but I don't know if it has anything to do with the immobilizer not letting it start. I've never had this problem before do you know we could be the issue?

Jason, High marks for the presentation, much needed. I would like to see one featuring the Honda Nav unit as it seems to have a mind of it's own. The voice recognition on my 2011 is pretty much useless unless I use exactly the words in the help menu. HELP!!!

In the 2011 Accord you do have to use the exact words or phrases the car wants. there is a list of them in the help setting.
Hey Jason! thanks for your videos. My daughter has a 2014 Honda accord EX-L. The temperature display shows Celsius. Is there a way to change this to Fahrenheit?

I don't know if a Honda Dealer would do this. I would try a good stereo/lighting shop. Honda Dealers normally don't want to do non-warranty installs. Ill check a price to replace the HID's on a Touring, that should give you an idea ;-)
