i just recently bought a 2014 Accord Sport and got few questions. Can i have it added from my phone? using usb cord to connect it? I don't have any usb drives and don't want to buy one just so I can change the wallpaper. Also, is there a way to have my phone connect without any extra steps? i have to kind of manually connect it when I get in the car (my phone is the only one paired )
+natnat You have to connect using a USB. It might not work with other devices.

how do i get all the lights to go off when I'm in park. those low ones seem to stay on even when the switches are off. I have a 14 Sport as well.
You have to shut the car off and turn it on with the Parking Brake engaged. As soon as its released they go back on and you'll need to repeat the cycle. Worth it if the car is idling but dumb that you have to shut the vehicle off.
Kleantrix, I have a 14 Accord LX. Same head unit as shown in the video. Do you know of a way to turn off operations restriction on the head unit?

+KleanTrix operations restriction does not allow you to search the address book or search MP3 files from your collections along with the disabling other options
Mathews George I am assuming that you are talking about when the vehicle is not in park, the system is going to limit your control. There isn't any way to get around this at the moment.
Do it has to be 800x480?
do you have the LED strip on your headlight? couldn't really see if that's just a bulb or a full LED strip... if yes did you install it yourself?

Does the flash drive need to only have jpeg images on it or will it mess things up if I have multiple files on it? I was not sure if I needed a clean HD or not.
I believe it does have to be JPEG from the last time I know. Also you will need a clean HD just to make things easy, because the interface isn't high standard.

my car doesn't read my flash drive to change the wallpaper. It does read the files for music but not the pictures. I been trying to figure out why , it is jpeg saved and small size but still doesn't pick up and pics but does pick up music. I seen stuff on you tube and it would say pic not supported, mine dosent even say anything?

I know this is an old video but have you ever dealt with the Bluetooth showing no title when playing music? Mine worked before and now it says no title. I’ve tried removing the device did the factory reset and nothing.
I do recall it happening back in the day, I believe it might have to be because of the updated phone you have versus the outdated system in the accord.

Great video man. It's unfortunate you have to keep answering questions you already covered. Does anyone know how to install an owners manual in their accords? Or an automated one that speaks so the lazy's don't have to physically read it? That would be boss. Also, I turned my 2013 Honda Accord into a speedboat. I'll post a video soon so everyone can ask how to install wings and jet engines on their accords.

I Can't get this to work for my car
I have a 2016 Honda Civic LX. I used to have the clock face showing on my LCD Screen. I must have touched something wrong and I lost it. All I have now is just the small digital clock version displayed in the upper right-hand corner. My Wallpaper is currently check marked to show the clock face, but the clock face version does not display. How can I find the clock face version again? This doesn't make any sense. Got any ideas?
What the heck?!!! That's weird! Make sure to go to the dealership and fix that problem, might be a software issue.
Go to display then press display clock and wallpaper. After you have gone to system settings and changed the wallpaper and clock to whatever you wanted. I hope this helps :)

That is a great question! I was interested myself. Unfortunately there isn't a way to do this, you would have to MOD the system yourself.

You would have to replace the original system, and install an aftermarket system. It would probably take a while and would be quiet difficult.

Hi, today i've tried to play an mp4 video on my honda jazz 2014 and it worked fine..however, the video was only shown when the gear's in a "P" mode only..when i started driving, the video was gone and only left the audio sound..i know this is for the safety reason, Honda does not want the driver to be distracted by the video while driving..but can we somehow change the setting so that the video keeps on displayed while driving..this will be great for kids entertaining purpose =D

If your usb stick is not supported then its probably over 32 GB. If its over 32gb then you have to reprogram your usb stick with yiur laptop software. Google it

KleanTrix Hi. your HIDs come on when you open the door, without turning the car on. Don't the HIDs put burden on the batter and maybe risky if the car isn't powered on?
You are right! But It doesn't for my car. The reason is that they turn off after 30 seconds for safety.
