I still dont feel about homosexual relationship, like it's nothing, but i feel that heck is too coward to accept the truth, so he is just making himself drowning to sleep so rachel cant explain properly. And it's not third party's fault if one is fall in love first, it's not like she is asking her for breaking up couple. If this normal relationship, that's still same romance plot anyway

Yes! This is the other thing that I love most. Otherwise, there is no further story if he didn't stay awake when Rachel started that hard conversation.
