Ashley. Has risen out of the ash!
Exactly !!!
I totally agree. Out of the ashes rises Ashley.
I was just coming g on to say the same Ashley
I completely agree with this as well
my choice is Ashley too!
She was born where the black berry bushes are call her blackberry
How about ash berry
In the future, the best way to introduce horses is to put them next to each other so they can get aquainted with each other first. Then when they are put together things will go alot smoother.
most definitely. This is not fair on the young one, and she can get badly hurt.
A paddock nutural to them both, with heaps of room to become acclimated but space to be safe.
Just like he does with introducing new Bison to the herd. What does he do now that Cora is upset?
Yes . mares can be a bit aggressive
Also just a little bit I wouldn't introduce them in thedark the young horse can't see the fences as well doesn't know where they're at
"Neutral" 🥰
Dusty I just want to say what an amazing job you did going up to that horse in the trailer and comforting her before bringing her out. The way you approached her and reassured her was absolutely beautiful to watch! Good job!
How about Star dust
Calamity Jane sounds like a good name for the daughter of Belle Star
That's what I thought.. just calamity..
That's what I was going to suggest
😂😂😂
Annie Oakley... call her Annie
If you're staying with female outlaws from Oklahoma. Little Britches was a member of the Doolin Gang.
Hi Dusty! I'm not sure if anyone else has suggested this; however, you could name your new little heifer, Pearl Starr, who was the real Belle Starr's daughter. Eddie Reed was Belle's son. I truly love your channel. Because of you and your beautiful family, I no longer fear bison. Thank you so much because they are such awesome creatures of God.
I totally agree with you. Great suggestions. 👍
I think that Pearl is a great idea, unless there is already a bison named Pearl.
Well….. this all just sent me down the preverbal internet rabbit hole for a bit! And now I completely agree with the name Pearl because it was Belle Starr's daughter’s name.
I love that name! Pearl Starr.
Works great for a name for new baby.
Beautiful little filly! Cora's reaction was a bit normal to have an intruder in her territory after she's been alone for so long. She was not happy the way she moved towards her. Maybe you should start again introducing the two in a neutral place, after they have been accustomed to each other over the fence, in a few days time. The new red dog is so cute!
I like Chelsea. She’s Beautiful!
Phoenix... She rose from the ashes...
I LOVE this
I LOVE IT ❤
@@txredkim867 me too. After the loss last year how appropriate to have the one rising from the Ashes bringing life represented
This is the one 👆🏻
I love it too! PERFECT!
Cora be like “Hey ! What’s up?,
My corral, My barn , My food… My Daddy! “
😍
I’m glad to see them separated for a week or so. They will sort it out, but give them the space to work it out.
I admired that horse at the roundup, the most beautiful colors!
So happy for you to get his offspring! So absolutely beautiful ♥️ CONGRATULATIONS 🎉🎊
Cora is just letting the new horse know who is boss. All animals do this. So beautiful
With horses, there is always a leader of the herd, even a herd of two. Cora is just letting the filly know that she is the boss. They will settle down. Just know that often you will see Cora push the filly around. If they are fed together, Cora will always eat first. The filly is a beautiful horse. Congratulations.
I agree totally!
If you feed hay out at the same time, put out 3 piles. We always put out one more pile of hay than we had horses. If you're feeding grain or pelleted supplement, be sure to separate them until the submissive one is finished.
Congratulations on the Red Dog and new horse.
You need to have 2 area's for 2 horse's and keep them apart - until they get to know each other better. Or you could just have a crippled pony on your hands, that has to be put down. Be really careful and go slow.
That's absolutely right!
The burn would be the cleanest area to calve. Smart momma!
I love to watch how easy Dusty approaches animals. Doesn't matter what the animal is, just gentle and easy. Beautiful to watch❤❤❤.
My favorite is Eleanor probably just like almost everybody else. And yay for Cora getting a buddy. And what a beautiful buddy she is.
Elenor’s having twins ❤😂
I thought that too. She has been the exception to everything, that would just go with who she is.
I agree she looks so big.
Congratulations on the surprise red dog and welcome to the new beautiful filly!! Mark is one heckuva great guy-out helping round up the bison and training lovely Cora, and helping now with the new horse. Awesome 👏! Will be fun to learn her name too.
Love that you include your daughter when you’re out and about. 😊😊
Horses are herd animals just like the Bison, there’s gonna be a pecking order with the filly’s. Cora will come around to the idea in a few days. Cora is still a baby herself, but she knows she’s the boss! Some mares can be really bossy in a herd.
Cora is protecting her territory, put them in a larger area so there is lots of room for each of them to get some space. I found out a long time ago if you put a new horse in with them in a small area there were more problems than if it was a larger area.
Since she came out of the ashes you could call her Phoenix.
Sooo glad you got another horse. Yeah!!! Looks like Cora is jealous. Cora is stunning. Both horses are gorgeous
Beautiful Roan,Just a thought but you can be bitting and saddling baby horses. From weanlings up to when you start actually riding them at late two year olds. You can drive them in long reins and harness for that fact. It will make them so accustomed to being handled and saddled and bridled. Actually riding will be much easier. Best of luck on your new adventure.
Sweet Pea.....the way she went up to your daughter was so sweet...like who is this little person....she has such a sweet personality.
I just love to see the little calves. Thank Mr. Dusty for taking care of the bison.i just love to see them. It actually makes me emotional to see the beauty of them and the dedication you have. Theresa
I have always loved that crimson clover; pretty and so good for the environment.
Congrats on the new filly. Yes, Cora is used to being the lone queen bee; it will take time for trust to build. Prayers for this new family expansion…and for our dear Eleanor and her soon-to-arrive calf. Lots of love to all at Cross Timbers Bison!
🙏🥰🦬🐎🐓🐈⬛🐕
The new girl in town is GORGEOUS..
AND Cora will settle down once she gets use to the new smell, also feed them at the same time 😅
Should keep them separate for the night and start next day or week because working on the picking order
Cora is the dominate alpha mare on the ranch. The roan with accept that after a few weeks.
Ruana is female in spanish for roan. Red was also a sacred color of success of the Cherokees. Looks like a very well tempered horse.
Your new pony is very pretty too! Cora will settle down. I think she will be the boss. Happy Bell Star's baby is doing good. So cute!!❤❤❤❤
I'd called her Blackberry... she's beautiful. The herd is looking amazing
Really like this name
Cora is protecting her human.
Cora is being the Boss Mare.
By "human", do you mean the "human food dispenser"? 😂. Cora seemed surprisingly calm until her food resources came into play.
Wow! Congratulations on Quapaw's new little bull calf! He is a cutie. Congratulations on the new new filly. She is gorgeous!
Phoenix for Belle Starrs Red dog 🐕 and for your beautiful new filly l think Ruby as she is red roan or Flame..hope the birth goes well for sweet Eleanor..l didn't think it would go well with Cora..she has been the only one and spoilt. You did well to take the young filly out especially after Cora bit her..they can do a hell of a lot of damage and she's still so tiny..you have your chickens and dogs nearby so the new girl isn't on her own..but for her safety you did the right thing.. 🇬🇧💕✝️🙏👍👏🐎🐴🦬🦬🦬🇺🇸
Blue Belle. BB for short. ❤
Real ☺️
Those new, fluffy and curious red dogs are simply the cutest babes ever 🥰💛
So glad for Belle Star. Beautiful baby.
For the bay roan filly how about calling her "April" and if you need a registration name "Aprils Dusky Night" since it was night time when you brought her home, and she is a nice dark roan.
That Red Roan was beautiful, and I couldn't help but notice him. I know his daughter will be beautiful too!
Bay roan. Red roan is roan on sorrel/chestnut.
Red Roan named Ruby
@@kathleenredick275 I was referring to the horse, I think they called him Mo, that was in the round up. Not the new bay roan they just got.
@@melissaw6446 Sorry. Thanks for letting me know.
Callie 😊 Cora and Callie just sound great together. Whatever Brooks picks will be perfect Im Sure. Prayers for the ranch and a swift friendship and bond between Cora and the new baby. She is a beauty!
Two healthy looking red dogs from two big health mamas! I’m so thrilled to see Belle Star have that sweet little girl after her awful heartbreak last year. God is good! It’s so cool to start with red dog season earlier this year, especially with the sheer number of potential red dogs to be born. Definitely a much safer and less stressful time when it’s cooler out and the babies are spaced out a little bit. Can’t wait for more red dogs to surprise us!
Cora is establishing herself as "high horse". It is natural in the pecking order of horses.
Ashley! was born in the ashes! ❤
Rosie Lee was Belle Stars first born, in real life. ❤️
I love this ☝🏻
Awww she's beautiful. Yeah. Separation from gates to let them get acquainted works better. Love ❤️ both of your horse's. Glad Bell Star is doing great with her new calf.
It will get better. Give it time. You've done the introduction very well. Hang in there. Yes, Cora is definitely the Queen Bee! Love your channel ❤️ Watching from Louisiana 👊
Name Annie Oakley
This is my favorite suggestion!
I was going to say that, too. But I deleted it because that's my nickname from my momma. Because I could ride like the wind. Loved my horses. And I could shoot fairly well for a girl. Back then, not many girls would shoot a gun. Yes, I'm up in years. 😊
Sounds good to me.
Your new horse is beautiful they will learn to love one another
It'll take a little while till they both become more accustomed to each other. Don't give up hope! You'll know when it's ok to put them together. Beautiful horse!
Georgous filly! Coras just establishing herd order, they will work it out together in time. As for names she's super cute, what about Annie, Willow or June...
In the video of Bel Star's birth of the new red dog, I suggested the name "Miracle" for all the miraculous events surrounding Bel Star. I hope Cora accepts the new horse and becomes a buddy to her as a friend. Congratulations on the new additions to the ranch. Wish them long and happy lives. Stay healthy and be safe.
Ashley was my 1st thought and I see that I am not alone!
They're both absolutely precious.💕🐎
All of Gods baby creations are beautiful, so darling!
Beautiful new Red Dogs. Hopefully Cora will soon accept her new friend. Loved hearing Brooks say hey to Big Joe. GOD bless y'all.
Oh wow, beautiful new horse, and I agree horses are pack animals and they will decide who is the boss
Horses are herd prey animals, wolves & coyotes are pack predators
My jaw dropped when you put them together right away 🫣 the filly is already stressed so quarantine is best ❤️🔥
A professional Rodeo Cowboy - Saddle Bronc and Bull rider. Always said you can never go wrong with a Buckskin horse. When we brought new horses home and would put them in stalls next to each other and never at night!!! Takes time for them to adjust. Goats can calm horses. Thoroughbreds used in racing put goats in their stalls. My horses loved my barn cats. Love the Roan!!!
Phoenix Star! Cinder, beautiful herd!!
Cinder for the red roan filly.
Beautiful coloring both of them
Hello Dusty, Love this video and getting to see the new baby bison being born. So exciting! Now you have a new pony as well. I just watched Daniel and Houston helping you with your bison and that was plenty exciting. My husband and I love bison. We saw some in South Dakota many years ago. My husband has since passed away two years ago. I am sure he would have loved to watch your channel. Thank you for this video🤗🤗💞💞💙💙
New babies!! A couple good names mentioned for the baby bison. Beautiful Philly! Sending good vibes to Cora to befriend the little Philly! 👏🏻👏🏻😊💕✌🏻
Love seeing these animals and babies.
Starlight for the baby buffalo 🦬
Beautiful wild flowers. HopeEleanor and the rest of the girls have a safe delivering.
That's natural that Cora is protecting her space. She has been alone for most of her life. They will start communicating with each other across the fence, Cora is establishing her dominance and it will take time for her to accept the new baby. Horses have a pecking order, also.
Belle star...Star dust :P
Congratulations on your new gorgeous bay roan filly !! She looks like a Rosa to go with Cora ❤
Phoenix is what I immediately thought of and I see a lot of people who saw the video way before me had the same idea.
Rosy sounds appropriate for your filly. Dusty Belle for baby bison. Just thrilled for you and your family ( 2 legged & furry 4 legged).
Star Dust or Phoenix as mentioned has my vote... Thanks for providing these videos on the regular. I feel like a virtual Bison rancher, and need my regular updates from CrossTimber. Props for all your great work from RedsRanch in Az
Dusty love your videos and enjoy watching. May the lord bless and protect you and your family and the bison and other animals. The new baby red dog. That's a beautiful roan filly
Congratulations on the new addition to the family! New horse is beautiful!
Your new horse is absolutely beautiful. Roan coloring is my favorite. Red dogs are adorable!
Cora is very protective of Dusty, especially night one as he was walking towards the new🐴 and Cora just left her food and zoomed out to separate him from her, it is sort of adorable but makes it tougher to get her adjusted. After some time Dusty will get her calmed down so she will finally share her home with her new roommate, she is a beautiful filly 🤗
Love y’all’s 😉
You are brave to put them together when you got home! I would have waited at least till day light so if something happened- horses will kick ass for a pecking order.
de@@SpirituralAwakening
😊
I agree I think if you took Cora to somewhere that's not her little area and maybe introduce the other horse to her that way maybe call Whitney be so headstrong because they're both in a neutral place
@@SpirituralAwakening I respect Dusty very much as a person and how great he is with the bison but with horses he has not much knowlege and experience!
Cora was too long alone , a lot of people mentioned that this is not good for a horse! Now he is bringing a Filly and even sticks them together immediately as the little one arrives! No save space for the Filly, no get to know the new surrounding at daylight, no get to know the new human! Couldn´t Mark, as a horseman, give him the right advice?
Cora is not used to the new situation, too! This could be bad for a long time! Hope, this goes well!
Ashley for the red dog, and april for the pony
Aww..sweet horse. She looks like a GRACE. I'm new to your channel to. Looking forward to watching more. Congratulations.
Just Beautiful, I Live Horses as well. They will take Awhile to get along, but then they r going to be Inseparable. Brooks is growing up so fast. She feels the Heat as well. Thanks to Marissa for being such an Awesome Mother and Wife. U Rock Marissa. I Love seeing U put in so much time with ur family and being the CEO. Thanks for sharing u Guys, Keep it Pushing!
New additions to the Ranch, live the Pony she is beautiful. Red Dogs are adorable and my goodness Eleanor is huge, is she having more than one or just a big calf? Better watch that lil Lady and hope she has no issues. Always exciting at Cross Timbers Bison.
It always strikes me that for such large powerful animals horses are so sweet and sensitive. Cora’s new friend is SO beautiful!
Hi Dusty, Marissa and Brooke. Congrats on the second red dog. Only 28 more to go. Cora is looking magnificent Love the new addition to the family. God bless and love yall ❤❤
Beautiful little filly!! Love her coloring too!! Jane, for Calamity Jane for the name of your new horse. I agree with Ashley for the baby heifer of Belle Star's. Have to say your Brooks is really growing up too! Congrats on all the new additions and for the ones to come!!
Good luck 🍀 in the times ahead ! I’m pretty sure things will calm down in time. Once they do you will have 2 beautiful equine additions to your ranch!! 😊❤️. 🐎 🐴
🎉Ashley for baby bison, and Misty for they horse. Hi Ho Misty away !
Those are good names 👍The baby bison out of the ashes, and the new, grey "misty" horse.
Those strong bonds take time to forge.
Love the new horse she's so beautiful
Always good to slowly introduce horses and quarantine them 1st for 2 weeks to let them get acquainted from a distance and see each other before letting them reside next to each other. It may have been a better decision to get a horse that had been around other horses and older than Cora. Give them a few weeks. Before placing them in the same pen when you see them hanging out together then things have calmed down
Beautiful new baby!! Dusty, you are ALWAYS so calm and never show fear whether it's a running horse right at you or a very friendly bison. Can't wait to see them become great friends 😊😊
Just love those red dogs!!! Well done Baker family❤❤❤
Beautiful horse!!Cora is just showing her dominance...hopefully being seperated but beside each other she will be fine soon!!!
Aww welcome beautiful little filly to the Cross Timber Bison family, you have to give Cora some time to get used to another member of the family, hopefully all goes well, and the new bull red dog is so cute too, and Eleanor looks ready to burst guys, tfs x Julie 🇬🇧
I'm voting for Ashley ❤
Love how Charlie the cat was NOT to be left out of the excitement of your new arrival! (*For ultimate “horse whispering,” watch Shae at Free Spirit Equestrian……❤
Also I'm so glad that Cora now has a friend of her own they will be friends and might take a little while but they will be closed and I'm so glad that she has someone of her own species to hang out with be with thank you love to see your family is awesome all about God just like me and you do things the right way! Keep it up. I love to have seen the way your ranch has grown and what you're all about bringing the 100% bison back I just hope I can make it someday to one of your cabins so I can view all these beautiful beautiful me animals. God bless your whole family❤❤❤
Ashley has my vote
CORA … 😍 That was precious meeting “the new girl”!
Yeah, sometimes you have to put a fence between them until they get acquainted.
Cora is quiet aggressive towards her.
Hopefully Cora will settle down just takes time and they will be standing at the fence together.
I'm curious to see how she colors out she has a lot of light color already when she sheds off it will be interesting roans change.
Moe's Roan,
FROSTY
Her daddy looked like he rides beautifully, smooth gates.
Good luck, you will do fine, I'm excited for you.❗️
That s beautiful babies and wonderful beasts!!!!!thank you
Congratulations!! Big changes.
