  • www.truthforlife.org - Christian faith begins when we realize that we are great sinners and that Christ is a great Savior. Once saved, we begin the lifelong process of sanctification which can feel overwhelming if we view others as perfect. Sensitive to this, Paul assured his readers that he was still a work in progress. Maturing faith, teaches Alistair Begg, is grounded in the understanding that we are called by God, kept by Christ, and can persevere on the strength of Scripture’s promises.

I am more convinced now than ever how the Lord loves me because there are so few pastors out there that seem to have such a gift from God and how He leads me to them for such a time as this. Praise You Lord!!! Thank You!!!

one of those sermons i have to listen several times to absorb every word into my soul as it thirsts continually for such blatantly truthful messages in the world of hypocrisy

Thank you for posting these every week, despite the current global situation. My church is having outdoor services only once per two weeks. It's nice to hear a sermon whenever I want, especially a sermon so well articulated and so relatable as yours. Thank you for your service, Alistair, and the Truth For Life organization.

Each day, I can press on one more day. As I follow Jesus I can make it to the next telegraph pole. Thank God, and thank you Pastor Begg aka a present day Caleb

as he said in one other sermon: “we doggedly endure one day at a time” - that exactly describes my life, one day at a time, one foot in front of the other, brother
