- These are the music tracks for the pre-fortress stage content we do not consider spoilers by their very existence.. except maybe one, but.... You will also see out of context shots of these stages.
Music in this video done by Mike Crain. In-game it is called "Remastered", was created in Famitracker using the Sunsoft 5B and Namco n163 chips; and it is, to quote Mike:
"A total remake from the ground up of my original OST I made back
in 2011, all the while trying to respect the original
compositions as much as possible."
Plus new tracks for the expanded content.
Since its a remastering of the original OST, it sounds pretty different to a Capcom OST.
There is also a 2A03 version of the soundtrack which can be considered "closer to a Mega Man NES OST", and is a collaboration between multiple musicians, and is a combination of remixes from the original game and new tracks made at the musician's discretion.
That will be uploaded at a later date. There are still a few gaps in the OST that need filling first.
I personally don't have a favourite. I think Mike's OST sets the mood better in spots, but the 2A03 has a fair selection of great takes on the music and some of the original stuff is superb.
Kind of like Sonic CD for me, I might just swap between these two on alternative playthroughs.
There is also a SNES style version of the OST that follows the N163 pretty closely. It's pretty good, (the particularly atmospheric tracks really shine here) but I still prefer the N163 one over that version overall.
Track List:
0:00 Intro
00:10 Ghost Man
01:52 Saw Man
04:12 Sand Man
05:30 Pyre Woman
07:37 Vs Midboss
08:56 Cryo Man
11:05 Haste Man
12:41 Amp Man
14:35 Storm Woman
16:34 Pyramid
18:53 Vs Robot Master - Hry
Why are some of the tracks different? First: This OST was intended by Mike to be the original game's OST brought up to his new standards using Famitracker.
There is a separate collaboration soundtrack that is a mixture of remixes of the original game and new tracks. I would say that OST is much closer to the usual Mega Man style.
Mike made either remixes of the original songs, or new songs in his style.
Some tracks that were previously revealed will also change in the 2a03 version because game development is a fluid beast and things change, especially when the game moves hands again, and that's all I will say on the matter.
For the record, I like both OSTs, I think Mike's matches the mood better, but the 2a03 has some excellent remixes and some of the new tracks are superb. Saw Man is probably my favourite track of Mike's OST, I just love how grungy it feels. The new Pyre Woman is also rather fun.
i liked the vearsion we saw at the demos (the robot master battle theme) ; can we please have it as a sort of bonus?
That miniboss theme is banger man. Probably one of my favorites so far here
Yeah I really like that track.
Yes I scheduled these to post in the wrong order. Oops.
Blast Man (before being renamed Amp Man for obvious reasons) was a personal favorite of mine and now it's even better~
His theme actually changes slightly depending on if his gimmick is on screen or not.
Glad to see development going smoothly. Keep up the good work.
Since the OSTs are being uploaded, it looks like we're finally getting closer to the game's completion, yes?
Well we are adding and refining stuff almost every day.
Honestly wasn't sure why Light would have built a ghost man tbh, but his new horror attraction job makes more sense than what the original vibe was
It actually always was a haunted attraction at an amusement park, but I guess OG didn't explain it well enough.
@@MikeCrain ah my bad. I'll look at the old one again to check. But originally I thought it was some abandoned area and that maybe ghost man was investigating paranormal activity
@@flameslinger8820 I imagine a robot akin to Ghost Man in design could be a paranormal research bot since nearly all paranormal activity likely has a rational explanation that could likely be determined in Mega Man's epoch with the level of technology they have.
You both are doing a great job on the remix! Keep it up!
Saw man's theme is a banger. I was already a fan of the original but this remix literally captures the intense tone of the original and makes it better.
Same feelings here, except my favorite was Spooky Robots.
Man, is gonna be exciting about the tracks. And Shhhhhh... Is a secret about these pyramids
My favorite theme it's Pyre Woman stage
Gee, Revo Remix. How come Mike let you have TWO desert stages?
I guess because I'm cool like that. Or maybe hot since it's a desert?
I love Playing Mega Man Revolution Rosalina!❤️
Three! Two! One! Okay!
Well, since there's an official Blast Man in MM11...
yes these are definitely my favorite tracks from Sonic The Hedgehog 2
Well, at least Pyre Man's stage theme is no longer cats dying in a blender.
*Pyre Woman
It is if you use the Dying Cats soundtrack.
There's going to be people doing extended themes to these stages so brace for impact on that
Sides that I am really looking forward to this one
The remastered Pyre Woman track is giving me massive Crisis City and the burning city theme from Mega Man ZX vibes in certain parts
I know this question isn’t relevant to the video Im not expecting a reply but I whatever happens to the qua about mm revolution are they awnsered and if they are how do we see our awnsers
We have half of the AMA recorded and had to stop because I had a tornado warning of all things abruptly happen lmfao. There's four of us who have to be present in it and it's somewhat hard to sync schedules for the rest of it.
@@MikeCrain ahh ok sorry for pestering with that question
So how many bits are you going to make like 12 bit, 16 bit, 8 bit, or 32 bit
Como se llama ese robot oscuro
Se llama es hombre de fantasmo
We goin' to Egypt!? Oh boy!
I think it's actually Sudan due to only being able to pick certain locations on a 16x16 grid world map. Though I found out Sudan allegedly has a lot more pyramids and it was possible to place the stage on, so that ironically worked out great.
Sand Man its good pyre woman ITS too AWESOME
Thanks. Sand Man's theme is unique out of all of them because I actually wrote it on location.
Yes this video is totally about sonic the hedgehog 2
Jokes aside,the tracks are great!
Yep, CZcams totally doing a great job identifying the game there
Clearly its the avatar, its throwing CZcams off.
@@ACESpark yeah sounds legit to me.
But question.(this will be more QR2 related but I'm asking it anyway)when i bet the demo of QR2,latest version, why did the screen go black and i didn't have access to the weapons and boss rush?been trying to figure why.
@@ACESpark Who is that Dark Robot Master
@@bilgehankose2006 reaperbot maybe?
Any new news when we can play the update ( and please don’t say when its done it’s done lol)
Ngl these remixes are better than the ones when sprite-inc was in charge. Their theme song revamp was great n all but these are absolute fire
Lol thanks. They're both in the game as well as an SNES version of this one, the first version with OPL3 instruments now set up intentionally poorly since the original was kind of lacking, etc.
Finally
That egyptian pyramid stage... could this possibly be Mummy Man or maybe Hotep Man...?
We ain’t telling yet, but all you really need to know is that it will be an optional stage (if you looked on Revo’s Facebook, it would tell you so).
It's Brendan Fraser Man.
4:12 when he's listening his own epic music before Sand Man failed to arrest jigglycutie in 5 hours be like:
similar to Tracks from sega
I heard that this game will have 7 playable character, including knuckles from sonic
It has 9 if you count Custom Man as only one despite it can be practically anything.
