A lack of proper sword fighting to review leaves us no choice but to poke fun at some of the Rings of Power (episode 6) in general. The tower collapse, armor habits, horse riding tricks, and more!

I was actually hoping to see another critique from you on this series, NICE! I must admit that you got some nice attention to detail, that acting of the orc was something most of us probably missed, and kudos to the guy for being good and passionate about it! Also nice pointing out that "neck protection" which makes a lot of sense, same with the on-boat wearing armor while they are sailing.
As for the last scene you showed, maybe it is possible of course but what is not believable is that the orc she hits with the sword looks like it exploded for some reason, literally he gets dismembered into multiple pieces which is impossible (unless he had a bomb inside of him). But why the fans are pissed off at that scene is because we the viewers never get the feeling like she is ever going to get a scratch let alone be in danger. Personally when I saw that scene, like the many other scenes she does, I literally rolled my eyes.
p.s.: i know this is a sword fight topic so I'll try to stay within it with the following question: is it possible to have a medieval middle-earth barber cut a flawless fade just like that elf has one? I have my suspicions about it 😁
LOL the final question! Actually I believe had there been a demand for that style, I think human ingenuity would have found a way.

I may make a comment or two on their armor in general. It's amazing looking but also looks less real than a lot of films with hardly the budget.
I used to really pick out odd things in backgrounds in movies. At the theater for Matrix in the final scene showing am entire population of urban citizens bustling in a city it was 99% white people. Like this show which is great to have diverse cast, why is the population still 95% white? The huge speech before battle, and there was one non white citizen. Don't the characters in this TV show have family lol? Idk. I'm going on a tangent. But in LOTR for example when Faromir rides off to his death there is this woman in the castle staring into the camera with a look of shock and I always see it
Nice point about never going to get a scratch. Anything now would be literally unbelievable. The exploding body 🤣! I was desperately trying to assess what armor a couple of them were wearing, because blood was coming out or places where no sword slash would penetrate armor..... maybe something I'll also look into soon.
We have that fight this weekend so the next critical video will be a bit delayed or I may combine ep 7 & 8

@@BachataKnight this is only my personal opinion so I might be wrong, but I heard some other youtubers complaining that they got a strike or simply being shadowbanned for criticizing this movie, so initially of course the YT algorithm works because of the name of the video, the ratio of comments and views, etc, but once they flag it as a negative critique for this particular show which is supposed to perform well, most who will see the next videos posted are going to be the subscribers, so those youtubers with many views who criticize this show is because they already got a huge well-established fanbase but that's why if you check their comment section is mostly people agreeing to what they say. Well it's only my thought but it could be one theory of why one video blew up and the other didn't.
For me it's nice to learn new things from the critiques, from all videos I see new points, and in yours I noticed things others failed to mention, such as why a certain pose is bad, or how certain scenes in certain moments simply look dumb.
Well, regardless of how it goes with the videos, all the best with your fight!

I can totally see how that would happen. Considering that I heard they have paid for good reviews and even put a 72 hour hold on comments of episodes. I can't say I'm not enjoying it, but it feels like it's made for average people. Also, i feel like I'm watching episodes of that show 24 🤣 . Not on the same level as Game Of Thrones cliffhangers. I would have preferred should a 2 or 3 part movie honestly. Maybe I should ask them to pay me for a good review. Oh sure that swordplay is totally legit $$ !
I should do a post season interview with my daughters mom. They'd straight ban me 😆 she is probably in the top 5% in Lore expertise
