+Em Hu I totally disagree, when Yulia danced with Max they only won 'one' competition despite dancing together for years. Yet as soon as Yulia partnered with Riccardo within 'just 2 months' they came 3rd at the International Championships & from then on were either 1st or 2nd in all competition & of course going on to be 6 time champions. So it doesn't matter if you're the best female dancer in the world like Yulia you still need the right partner. Riccardo & Yulia together are perfection & complement each other beautifully, so in sync, precise, smooth, naturally rhythmic & charismatic. Riccardo was able to bring out the best in Yulia, providing a strong masculine presence to her femininity & elegance, a perfect combination. I'd say they 'both' hit the jackpot. Max wasn't a good partner for Yulia because he competed with her to be the star of the partnership. They did not complement each other at all. He must have been a real prima dona to deal with.
