consider doing some branded merchandise like tarantula water bowl, stickers, hats, t-shirts, mugs, key-rings, mouse mats and see if you can get some of your perspex enclosures manufactured and sold with your logo. The logo is well designed and would work in merchandise.
For example, you mentioned that the clear slings enclosure boxes are available to you from a local shop, here in the UK I cannot find a cheap small perspex box to re-purpose as a sling enclosure like that, only food containers which are not really clear. You could bulk buy them from the shop or their supplier and sell them on ebay to europe with no import/export duty to worry about and make more income that way, heck if you drill some air holes in them already and have a Dark Den sticker on the bottom of the case you could sell them for even more.
You could even design and market a Dark Den tarantula hide with your logo, I was looking at my exo terra water bowl for my LP and is just a clay bowl with a exo terra logo and I paid £5 for it...
I bet there is a fair number of subscribers that would buy some merchandise with your logo, I would.

Petko, you are such a real person. I keep tarantulas, and I have learned so much along with you as you have learned. I can't tell you how much I value that. It seems really strange that you don't know me, because I feel like I know you so well... At least as far as your beloved hobby is concerned. Thank you so much for the work you put in these videos. I'm a theater director by trade, and I know how much work it is to set up a performance event that has to have a beginning a middle and an end. To do that twice weekly and unscripted is astonishing to me! I might not be able to be a patron on an ongoing basis because my income is so sporadic, but I would be honored to help out in some small way with the channel expenses.

ive been subbed for around 5 days, and seen nearly all of the videos. including the DIY stuff, i haven't gotten over my fear of spiders overall but it has certainly gotten rid of the fear of small spiders, and i have a B.Smithi and B Albopilosum slings arriving very soon! its been amazing to be involved in something you are scared of, Thanks Dark Den spider tarantula dude!!

There are a lot of youtubers that I like watching, and it feels like I have some kind of connection with some of them, like, they record inside their home, talk to us about what they're thinking, share moments of their daily lives with us, really informal all the way, and it makes us feel close to them, that is awesome. A lot of times they make our day a lot better just by posting a new video. I know a lot of people feel like this, so a lot of people would definitely be glad to contribute with your work.

I've been watching your channel for like two to three weeks now and I really like it- you record everything as best as you can using two cameras, the light and the quality is really good. I like that you are honest with your audience, you are not afraid to show us and tell us that accidents do happen (like when you stepped on the little T in one video). I don't have a tarantula myself because of my arachnophobia, but your videos are really helping me with that. The patreon might be a good idea, I honestly wouldn't be able to support you more there, because I'm not old enough, but I think that many people would be happy to do it since the amount of your viewers is increasing. I don't know if you will ever be able to read my comment, but keep up the good work!

You should definitely do a patreon. There's nothing greedy about wanting to make a living doing what you love. And when you put this much effort and time in it's definitely not greedy, I'd say.

Hello Petko! I just randomly had one of your videos in my recomended page, and I thought that I wouldn't be interested, but man was I wrong! I binge watched all your videos and I'm so inspired now! I'm not scared of spiders, but they make me a little uncomfortable. Watching your videos has really helped me get comfortable with spiders, and now I really want a tarantula or a scorpion. Keep up the work my dude. Bought my first t a few weeks ago, an Aphonopelma Seemanni and it has been a blast so far caring for this creature. This week im getting a Smithi and an Avicularia Avicularia from a local pet shop. Your enthusiasm made me finally take a decision on this passion i had since childhood. Inever dared to take the step to care for anything harder than a guinea pig. And now im coming up with all kinds of future exhibit ideas and other species of insects/reptilia to keep. I'm relatively new to the hobby so have only recently come across your channel and I can honestly say it's jumped right to the top of my favourites. I've binge watched almost all of the videos now and have loved learning so much more about T's and the do's and dont's etc. I find it quite difficult to find others who appreciate the hobby as so many people have a phobia of spiders so it's nice to see so many others with similar interests. I won't mind giving something to your channel, I've learned loads from it, also more videos would be awesome, some people will probly think your Greedy but us that appreciate that you enjoy this hobbies brings us joy aswell. You could do giveaways for example and other stuff, it's your choice but I'll support your dream if that's what you want, after all like you said we are a community. I have only seen you mentally searching for a word a couple but each time you've gotten it right. Also your sentence structure is far and away much better than many people who learn English as a second language. Patreon is a really good way to communicate with your community, I don't think that you are greedy by starting one. Real fans will support you in everything you do. I haven't been watching you for a long time but i really enjoy watching your content. I'd say start one and just see how it goes. Entice people with nice rewards when they donate too!

I'll be honest I don't think getting paid to do a hobby like CZcams should be made into a full time job however you do put a lot of effort into what you do and you can see that your love and care for your animals is genuine and as far as I can tell so are you so I don't think you've done anything wrong in asking and I feel a lot of people will and should support you with your hubby and if it is what you want to turn into a full time job I wish you all the best and you deserve to do well I'll continue to watch and enjoy your videos keep up the good work

Patreon would be no problem at all I think. As long as you don't forcefully promote it twice every video, I don't think people will think you're greedy or anything either. I'd say you really deserve to get something back. For even such a small Community, you have been so nice and caring.
