- Help me name the character for my Paranormal ASMR Radio Show. The three choices are:
1. DJ Big Mike
2. DJ Mad Mike
3. DJ...You choose.
Let me know what name you think I should use, and I'll announce it at the beginning of my next episode "Crybaby Bridge".
Mothman is the name of a cryptid speculated to exist after several reports of unidentified creatures seen in the Point Pleasant area of West Virginia from November 15, 1966, to December 15, 1967. The first newspaper report was published in the Point Pleasant Register dated November 16, 1966, titled "Couples See Man-Sized Bird ... Creature ... Something". The being subsequently entered regional folklore.
Mothman was introduced to a wider audience by Gray Barker in 1970, later popularized by John Keel in his 1975 book The Mothman Prophecies, claiming that there were supernatural events related to the sightings, and a connection to the collapse of the Silver Bridge. The 2002 film The Mothman Prophecies, starring Richard Gere, was based on Keel's book.

Help me name my DJ and I will mention you if you say you'd like to be included in the video. Sharing is caring so don't forget to tell your friends about Tiraradeguello.
Also, as somebody who loves podcasts, I think this format is very cool and possibly untapped. Look forward to more.
+Lunis Badman I hope it expands the channel so it is more accessible to everyone, and we can open things up so these scary subjects become more manageable in people's lives.
This is Dj Mad Mike relaying mysterious messages on Mikes Mental Mondays.
DJ Mad Mike sounds the best
Yeah
This new project is fantastic.
I agree! A lot of work went into these and they're quite interesting. Can't wait to see more.
This type of video is my absolute FAVORITE that you do. I love mythical/paranormal topics and it's cool how much I didn't know about such familiar legends. Dude, to me these videos are gold. 🏅
I've been doing weird cryptids and paranormal original characters since january on my weekly podcast, check it out tiraradeguello.podbean.com/e/episode-87-petrification-massage-therapy-asmr/
I'm going Mad Mike. But I like how you've done these two "paranormal videos" It's relaxing and the stories are very interesting. I've always been obsessed with cryptids and the paranormal.
+Captain Sum Ting Wong I'm glad you like them. I will be doing another Doctor Andrew Michaels video soon.
I have this imagination in my head of the DJ taking calls, and Dr. Michaels calls in to give him a little message about getting too close to the truth like Kilgrave on Jessica Jones lol.
+Phoenix_Rises 2014 oooohhh, that's a very very good idea. We will have to hope that happens. Thank you.
I really love these so far. It's super interesting to hear your experiences as well as the straight facts! :)
35:54 "Soon we will hit 9 thousand subscribers"
It's amazing to see how much the channel has grown over such a relatively short time frame. Three years later and the subscribers have increased by over 10 times what it was!
DJ Mad Mike is calling to me, personally.
+JTL awesome, stay tuned for Crybaby Bridge next chapter after my new Doctor Andrew Michaels video, ASMR titanic.
+TirarADeguello I think mad mike would suit this type of video better or DJ MAD MIKE
cool
You voice is just so relaxing and great! You also have a great ability to tell a story.
+Wandering Whispers I'm trying, thank you so much for your continued supportive comments. You're too good to me.
Thank you for combining asmr and urban legends (and cryptids)!
I love listening to these!
Keep up the great videos!
+MoriKAshi No worries, I am open to suggestions, and love the interaction with all of you getting involved.
Thanks for the shout out. I used to work with two guys that lived in Gallipolis, Ohio. They swore up and down the Mothman was real. I'm not sure I believe it but it's a great story. Go Bucks
I think you've struck gold with these! Looking forward to more content as always, and thank you for taking the time to create this content for us.
+Blank Knalb I really enjoy the newsprint, bad copy Thumbnails I make for this series. I just love history. Thank you.
DJ CHAINSAW GUTSFUCK
on a more serious note i like dj mental mike better
I’ve just recently discovered your channel and really love the paranormal asmr. I live just south of point pleasant and actually did several projects as a child about the mothman! I’m sure you’ve heard of it, but if not, you should for sure check out the podcast “Lore.” It’s all about folklore and one episode even includes the mothman
This is great. I'd love to see a Pontypool type "ASMR radio broadcast" where it starts off normal and gradually you start receiving calls about something scary/dangerous/mysterious happening outside in your town while it slowly gets closer and closer to you. I don't know if anyone's seen that movie or not but I love it.
+Richard Crump I did see that movie and I really liked it.
I know this is a older video but you are a awesome asmrist
You are by far my favorite asmr artist
Love all of your ASMR videos & especially this Project.Keep up the fantastic work man :)
Love this, you're a great story teller and I loved hearing you talk:)
+Rhosgobel Rabbit ASMR Thank you for stopping by. That's so nice of you to say.
This series is gold already
+Bruce Wayne next video starts to tie in with DJ MAD MIKE and Doctor Andrew Michaels, ASMR Titanic. Hope you like it.
DJ Mad Mike is dope. So happy you're continuing this series. Huge fan.
Glad to hear the New Jersey Devil got a mention in this video, I was about to suggest it as a topic. I have always been fascinated by both of these stories. Keep up the great work. Loved it :)
I would LOVE to see more discussion videos like this one and the one about Ray.....these are my absolute favorite. I rewatch these weekly
My "saturday Night Confessions" that I have done 3 of so far are in a similar fashion. I tell personal stories about my life. I promise I will be doing more of these very soon.
DJ mad mike sounds cool, I seriously want more of this series maybe chupacabra next, some backstory to that :D
+zombiemonkey509 I need to do "Crybaby Bridge" urban Legend next, but soon, very soon, Chupacabra.
Mad mike seems like a great idea.
Please please do a great deal of these. Urban legends are absolutely great.
I grew up close to Point Pleasant too! I'm glad you did this!
+Mag Pie I'm so glad to know you, thank you!
oh man i'm so glad i found your channel, dope videos my dude
Fantastic video, as always. Keep it up!~
Oh my goodness, someone else who knows about springheeled jack! I was always fascinated with him, such a unique character...
+alistercade They wrote plays about him, which I thought was interesting, like a modern superhero. Thank you.
This video was so interesting and entertaining. I'm feeling DJ mad mike sounds good. great video as always
+Cian Davies Hey, thanks, I do appreciate everyone voting, it helps.
Excellent video! Thanks! I've always found the Mothman concept fascinating. Subscribed! And also, I'm an even bigger fan after noticing you have Boz Scaggs AND the full length 'Pump Up The Volume' movie in your favourites! Awesome taste!
+Helen Grant yes, thank you, I can't help loving my Boz. He's so cool in concert.
missing this type of content i can’t lie
This video was really relaxing and was about an enjoyable subject. Every time you would emphasize "rip the roof off" I got tingles. Thank you for such a nice video! Much love ❤️ Hannah
Thank you Hannah, I just did one on gangster "baby face Nelson" and people are so supportive of this series
Live about twenty minutes from point pleasant. Mothman is a very interesting cryptic creature. Love this type of video. Thanks.
+phillip gunter It is a nice town, glad to meet you.
I'm feeling DJ Mad Mike a lot!! :D
+CB Fall DJ Mad Mike Deguello lol. Thanks
TirarADeguello
Welcome!
A John Titor episode would be amazing, given the similarities between him and Andrew Michaels.
+TheQuackQuackLoRD I am working on that as a storyline.
TirarADeguello Awesome, keep up the fantastic work.
Dj Mad Mike for sure. Bigfoot next??
+Aidan Warren Bigfoot is on the list, and a true personal story, Yes!
We need more😂🙏🏼
mad mike has a nice ring to it, this mothman stuff sounds very interesting as well. crybaby bridge sounds exciting. just wanted to say that it's amazing to be apart of your subscribers and i hope you reach over your goal soon enough. i was glad to see the james bond series as your fantasy elements has to be some of my favorites on your channel. the annabell series was absolutely amazing because of all the story telling and fantasy to it. anyway keep up the good work doctor.
+ArcanineStripes I'm glad you liked the Annabelle Doll series, and I've been thinking of bringing her back sometime for a new series. I can tell everyone about her in this new DJ format to set up a future story line. Thank you for the positive feedback. I hope you'll continue to share with us as well.
I like DJ Mad Mike, it fits the topic of your channel and this video especially. "Mad" goes along nicely with paranormal stories if you ask me. Also the alliteration (M+M) sounds smoother as well. My vote is for DJ Mad Mike
DJ Monster Mike, but for what I read I think Mad Mike is what it's going to be, which sounds good too. Love this series.
+RBGJoe thank you, it means a lot that so many of you took the time to weigh in. I will try to mention every single one of you in the video next in the series, "Crybaby Bridge" due out later in the weekend.
im late but, I loved these 'Urban Legend' videos and I wish there were more of them.
love ure story telling vids.. u put so much imagination and creativity into them.. enjoy listening to them.. frm the uk. :)
Thank you from your new friend in Ohio.
Mad Mike! Great video.
I like it when you're talking all serious.
You so freakin' full of great Idea! X) And 1:Mad Mike sounds much greater.
New subscriber to the channel. Really like this series! DJ Big Mike
+Duke Hollyrood thank you, stay tuned for more and I'll try not to let you down.
deserves way more subs
We need DJ Mad Mike back! These videos are the best.
Classic video 💪
I've been to point pleasant 3 times. The most interesting thing is the Mothman statue.
Need more like this and the Green Man video
Mad Mike. Alliteration is more appealing phonetically.
Still love this video and the green man one
at first I found this very weird and so I joked about watching it and then I started watching this guy and it's not weird to me at all now! Thanks DjMadMike
+Jose Gonzalez thank you, hope I don't let you down.
+TirarADeguello never!! thanks for taking it time to make us videos!!
I think Mad Mike fits better for this type of channel. But speaking of Urban Legends, the two biggest urban legends I heard of while living in southern Ohio were the Ohio Grass Man and Loveland Frogmen. Real interesting legends.
I like DJ Mad Mike as well. Seems more fitting.
this got into my recommends but im pretty sure mothman is a level 4 monster who can cause both players to draw 1 card and then discard 1 card
When are we gonna get DJ Mad Mike back on the Mic?
Hello,
I've enjoyed your two urban legends videos immensely. Will there be anymore?
i cant really explain what people are seeing on the bridge that day.... but what ever it was.... it was defiantly abnormal and like no other
Hope you do another one of these videos soon DJ Mad Mike hahaha
this video is awsome :)
how about sleepy Mike
This was awesome! Thank you very much for the story and for sharing a part of yourself. P.S. We played" Guns" too. Isn't that odd? Such a blunt name for an activity. Twas a different time.
+paul pavilonis We played guns. We played cars. We played tag. It was a simpler life I think. Thank you.
Mad Mike sounds cooler and more paranormal related. Plus it has the alliteration going for it!
there 'urban legend' videos are really good. please do more if you can!
+NerdLefty I will be doing a new one soon, thank you.
Mad Mike i think. Good asmr again!
bring paranormal asmr back!!
Dj metaphysical mike. Paranormal Pete. Oh man or the best one of all Mythmaster Mike. That one is great cause it sort of relates to myths and urban legends AND it sounds like Mike Tyson saying "mixmaster"
DJ mad mike sounds really cool :P
Hey, love the videos and your ideas so fresh and creepy.
I have an idea for the name DJ Dr Mad Mike
+Shane Sewell thanks I appreciate it.
my grandma actually gave me one of those books with newspaper stories about stuff like strange clouds and medical anomalies and frog rains and whatnot ! suuper old and suuper interesting , i have to wonder if it was the same author
+CorpseTongji Charles Fort is the author I was referring to, thanks.
Smooth Mike!
As far as Mothman ripping a car roof. The impact velocity of the Mothman could weaken the structural integrity of the vehicle, thus then pulling on the roof in a peeling like manner. Similar to to opening of sardine can. It's not about brute strength, but mass from impact velocity, followed by then looking for the weak points to pull at.
Theologically speaking...
what if the moth man died on the bridge?
ps Mad Mike all the way!
and not him as a monster but like the person that was behind the moth man sightings
+Yo Hey that's a very interesting idea, and seems possible to me. Why not? We don't know otherwise. Thanks.
Theories are how we get answers (:
yes, agreed.
Jeepers creeers is a DEFINTE rip-off from the mothman! Interesting great vids
Dj manic Mike has a nice ring to it
I love your voice ❤❤
Thank you
I didn't see this video till now, but I'm from West Virginia!
Mad Mike, and more of these.
Oh yes, DJ Mad Mike!
Dj mad mike also good work ^_^
ya I like mad mike great video
Mad Mike sounds pretty sick.
mad mike for sure
I need moreee
DJ TARGUELLO
DROP THAT BASE!!!!!!🌟😱😜😜😈
DUN! DUN! DUN!
The Butterfly Effect (if that is the correct name) is a reference to pending events of danger. The game Until Dawn plays a big role with the Butterfly Effect as it is used to possibly save every character in the game when you play. You are shown visions and it is up to you to decide what they mean. I suppose the Butterfly Effect could also be compared to the 6th sense that some people get that radiates the feeling of danger that makes your hairs stand on end. Not danger as if the possibility is there, danger as if it WILL happen.
Fun fact: the mothman statue is unbelievably thicc and there are many images to confirm the factuality of this
Fun fact, I live in Point Pleasant, and about 5-10 minutes from TNT
Hello doctor, I was wondering if you had heard of La Larona , the urban legend, or the woman in white? Very fascinating scary urban legend that stems into our culture
+Garrett Knowles Yes, I actually know that story, a friend was telling me about it last Halloween.
Cool amd good.
and*
people say that if you stare directly into its red eyes it could make you go insane having the image permanently imprinted in your mind.
This is a great video but I think character of Dr Andrew Michaels suits you the most
I would go with DJ You Choose... :)
Mothman is an owl and the Silver Bridge fell due to a faulty i-beam and lack of redundancy. The picture that allegedly shows the Mothman on Silver Bridge just shows a rounded part of the structure that can be seen on each pillar. Trey the Explainer and Well There's Your Problem have good videos on it.
DJ Monster Mike
If not, then DJ Mad Mike. The double Ms makes it sound better.
DJ magic mike is obviously the only realistic choice.
DJ Mad Mike definitely
