The skin situation gave me an idea for a task. Fake crash 3 times, slightly changing your skin each time. If anyone notices the change or calls your fake crashing out, you fail
Very subjective challenge. You can shift hue of your shirt's fold on right arm by 2% and call it a change. And some players don't have the minimalistic armor
also you have to make the skins during the session for that to work, which would be really inconveniant

Impulse's task is basically to make Mumbo fail his task.
This session seemed to have a lot of tasks that possibly overlapped with other's task in being able to accidentally make them fail. I bet that was intentional!

Of course, anything can happen, so it’s going to be completely up in the air until literally the last moment.
I was a little shocked realizing most hermit fans only watch a couple perspectives of the life series, you miss SO MUCH if you don’t watch everyone, every interaction is precious and of course the creator monologues
I think the Life Series is why I routinely watch several of the Hermits now, cos just wanting the other perspectives in the Life series.
I feel like in previous seasons I didn’t watch as many cause a lot of content would overlap each other. But this season I’ve been watching almost everybody because it overlaps way less with the secrets 😊
They said it's impossible to watch all POVs in a day.. (well, they could watch 2-3 videos per day like what I do😆)
that's a lot of time though to watch everyone. i watch my favorites, the collection of all tasks and completion, then any that seemed interesting after that, and it can still take all week lol
I had two task ideas:
1 - Leave a cake in three people's bases without getting caught
2 - (Hard task) Make a secret base in someone else's base without getting caught. Must be at least one room with a crafting table, furnace, chest and bed.
And a pet
Tasks like these should be implemented. Hurting other players is not fun imo

Task idea: Get 4 yellows to incorrectly guess your task, but each guess has to be completely different
I think 4 is too many (since at the end of the episode there were only 4-5 yellows) 2 I think is good?
Lizzie had a similar task and it was practically impossible for 5 out of everyone

@@_.Annaaaaa._ I was thinking there would probably be more yellows next week anyway, and it’s not like there’s a disincentive for yellows to guess. I think tango had almost every yellow guess this week, and etho had at least 3 people try to guess his. Maybe 4 is too many, but I think 2 would probably be trivial, a lot of people accomplished that by accident this week.
@@fredstar-mw4tl yes, but that was before there was an incentive to accuse. That task was really hard when everyone was green because there was no reason to accuse anyone, but this week pretty much every yellow accused anyone they could.

Secret Task Ideas: 1) Spread a rumor and get at least 2 people to believe it.
2) Don't kill any mobs (according to ststistics) for 50% of the session.
3) Take someone on a date, but don't tell them what's going on.
4) Build a secret base in someone's base without getting caught.
Does your chain hang low? Does it Dangle to the floor? Wear something that makes sound when you move your mouse arm, and every time you crouch you lose one heart for 1 hour.
The date one would be so funny 😂

If we wanted to be technical, Impulse you could've taken the 5 hearts off yourself since you're part of "any player". Bit unorthodox but it works lol
he wasnt over 25 hearts though. he was actually at EXACTLY 25.

Loophole: It didn't say "another player" so Impulse accidentally taking 5 hearts of damage technically would have achieved it without hurting anyone else.
The correct answer to this task was to go straigh to get a hard one, or simply not doing it
Task idea! Convince one person to go into the nether with you, and then abandon them there without them noticing/calling you out (at least until you’re gone). If they say anything about it to you before you’ve turned in the task, you’ve failed.
First of all- Spinning the Nether disaster around so it's somehow Skizz's fault ("I tried not to make this so bad for you! But you had to big brain that one!") is stupid funny. Love that for you / Character Impulse.
Secondly... I'm obsessed with the drama that is you quietly checking your task book, pausing for a beat, and saying "I did a great job... but I made one fatal error: targeting someone who knows me so well" before dramatically throwing your task book down by Skizz's feet. Ugh. The pain... The deception, and all for what? All for nothing. I'm obsessed. Can't wait to see the fanart that comes out of that one; it's definitely a favorite moment of the series for me thus far

*Grian* - For every heart of Damage SmallishBeans takes, you must take the same. You can let them in on this secret, but no one else.. If either of you die in this episode, you fail. - FAIL
*SmallishBeans* - Deja vu: Listen into another player’s conversation then try to have the same conversation with either of them later and get them to claim deja vu. - FAIL
*SmallishBeans (Hard Task)* - Do a 100 block high water bucket clutch in front of the whole server. - FAIL
*impulseSV* - Find any player over 25 hearts, and “accidentally” take 5 off them. The method is your choice. You fail if they ask if it is your task. - FAIL
*Smajor1995* - Tell someone you love them and have them say it back unprompted. 1 Attempt per player. Total of 3 required to pass. - SUCCESS

*GoodTimesWithScar* - Remove all the light sources from around 5 peoples bases. If someone questions you, you need to put them back for that player. - SUCCESS
*TangoTek* - You have an imaginary friend now. Talk to them as if they follow you round the whole session and are part of conversations. You must interact with other players during this time. - FAIL
*ZombieCleo* - Film a nature documentary on the server about 2 people who aren’t you for at least 5 minutes. If anyone notices you or interrupts the film, you must stop and find someone else. - SUCCESS
*SolidarityGaming* - Re-Bind your W key to A, S to W, D to S, and A to D for 30 minutes of the session. If someone points our your weird movements, restart the timer. You must interact with other players during this time. - SUCCESS
*Skizzleman* - Someone else on the server has the same task as you. Find out who it is. You must still keep this a secret. Do not re-roll. - FAIL
*GeminiTay* - You declared yourself incorrectly successful last session, you must re-roll for hard as punishment.
*GeminiTay* (Hard Task) - Open the end portal. - SUCCESS
*LDShadowLady* - You can not deny any request or question from another player. You must say yes. - FAIL
*MumboJumbo* - Prevent Scar from losing more than 3 hearts this session. - FAIL

Task idea - Make up a task and get a yellow to "guess" it without making it too obvious. Make them go with you to the button and tell them your task was so hard you don't think it's fair that they get to fail you and press success.
Hard task: place a button around grian's base that he wont press. It cannot be hidden and he has to be able to reach it.
I think they new yellow rule will get really OP later. I think it should be all the yellows can come together to ask each person once persession as opposed to each yellow asking each person once per session.
eventually most people will be yellow and not want to work together in guessing maybe.

Okay, I LOVE the echo sound effect for when you've muted your mic to talk about your task, and making it sound like internal dialogue!

Task idea 1: Throw a party for a past life series team (BEST, flower husbands, Ranchers, bad boys etc.)
Task idea 2: Get all Secret life members to throw you an item. Any item.
Task idea 3: Get 3 people in a row NOT to give you a heart when you ask them. If someone gives it to you, you need to restart
I would love for Task idea 1 to be used for the Clockers because who wouldn't love another awkward family supper!
Plus they are one of the easiest groups to throw a party with! (Cleo and Etho are already teamed up, Bdubs wanting to team up with them if things go south for the Mounds, and Scar being easy to persuade as long it involves Star Wars.)

You must steal something valuable from 6 players' houses, while their in their house, without getting caught. 3. Chose a player and constanly tell them horrible puns/jokes for 30 mins of the session straight without them questioning you. ❤
Secret idea: Act like a character from a show or movie (you can choose every character you like) for the entire session. If someone mentions this character or compares you to them, you fail your task
Task Idea: Give 3 people a backhanded compliment(an insult disguised as a compliment) but if someone realizes or calls you out you have to try someone else.

My son’s idea for a task: Only refer to yourself in third person for thirty minutes.

task: creepily stalk the entire session, do not acknowledge that player if they confront you but otherwise be normal to everyone else that comes to you. Fail only if the player strikes you.
Task Idea: Get Solidarity and/or Scar into the nether for at least 30 minutes, but at least one must survive the full 30 minutes at least and leave the Nether with you.

1. Give 3 players a gift then ask for it back
2. Gather at least 6 people to The secret keeper, convince them you failed, just to succeed
3. Take on a tour around the whole mapp
4. Get caught spying on someone 3 times
5. Ask someone the same question 3 times in a session
6. Complete 3 purple Minecraft advancements
7. Remove the back of grians base
8. Avoid being in a conversation with for an hour

Task Idea: Start a dance party with at least 5 other people.
Task ideas:
-Say something to someone and later contradict what you said in a conversation of at least 3 people. Don't get called out.
-Get someone to agree to let you build a cobblestone pillar to build height limit on their base. (You don't actually have to build the pillar, you just have to get them to agree)
-Tour 4 people around your base.
-Get someone to mine 5 diamonds, raw gold or ancient debris for you and get them to give it you. It can be a combination of the 3 or be all the same ressource.
-Name a creeper by a name of your choice and tour it around the server without it dying.
-Get 3 people to stay in your base without leaving for at least 3 minutes.
-You have completed your task... well that's what everyone thinks. You must pretend that you've completed your task without anyone asking what your task was for at least 75 minutes. If someone asks you what your task was, you must immediately leave conversation.
-Tell someone you've done 3 things in Minecraft that aren't even in the game in the same conversation. If you get called out, you have to find someone else to complete your task.
-Convince 5 people you own an item that they don't have even though you don't have it. If they find out you don't have it, you fail your task.
-Fill at least 10 inventory slots with not very useful and specific items. They must stay in your inventory for the whole session.
Hard task idea: Win a horse race against 3 or more other people.
Secret Task idea: Do a successful impression of any life series member to another player except the chosen one. Then find a new player, and do an impression of the previous one. Do the latter 3 more times. If a player suspects this of being a secret task you do not fail, but you must do an additional one as it won't be counted towards the 5 original impressions.

Task suggestion:
You succeed when [insert random player name here] turns in their task. It does not matter if they succeed or fail. However, if they do not turn in their task by the meeting at the secret keeper at the end of the session or this person calls you out, you fail. You may help this player complete, or fail, their task in any way you like.
I have a couple secret task ideas
Accuse someone of failing their task and walk them to the secret keeper, they will be allowed to succeed too. You may not reveal to them why until at the secret keeper.
Gift someone a free obsidian fence around their house, it must be two blocks tall. If you are caught building it you must start over with someone else.
Trick someone into giving you an item you are holding in your hand, if they notice you have it in your hand you must find someone else to trick.
The great betrayal: abandon your neighbors or clan and build a house with another clan, you are part of their clan for the session.
(Player name) is poisonous, you cannot be near them for the rest of the session
(Player name) Doesn’t exist, do not acknowledge them for half the session
Task:
Give someone a regen potion. Make them drink it.
Task idea: Make someone think your task is to kill or hurt them, act like it all the way until hitting the succeed button.

"Don't be shooting our willie" - Tango 2023
Secret Task idea: Be a personal assistant for 35 minutes for a yellow life that's not apart of your team.
A good way of doing the secret would have been to stack a bunch of gravel up in a small tunnel and act like you're showing them a barrel that was hidden with nice stuff you wanted to give to the person, and accidentally remove a block next to it that has all the gravel that'll fall down, then show them the barrel with the goods afterwards.
One heart for every year of friendship.

Task idea: “Become a master of improvisation. Only respond using the ’Yes, and...’ format for 30 minutes. If you fail or refuse to do, restart the timer.”

Edit: I had two more task ideas but it turns out they were both tasks from this session. Woops!

Challenge: Make something you REALLY need and burn it in front of your team without them accusing that it was your task.
Task Idea: You can only talk using words that people around you have recently said, you can scramble them to form coherent sentences but you cant use words other people didnt say (similar to Echo the nymph from that narcissus greek myth)

Just realised that phantom spawning is probably turned off. That's probably why the secret keeper gives you potions that require phantom membranes.
Task idea: Convince someone that you accidentally revealed your task to them
I would have put lava in my bucket, get someone alone, ask to borrow they’re water bucket cuz mine has lava in it, silly me, and then accidentally lava them and pretend to be incompetent until I heard 5 fire dmg ticks
Task idea: Pretend to be another hermit and copy what they do for 10 min

Another secret task idea : speak like an AI for at least 30 min of the session, restart if gets called out..
Task idea: avoid saying any words that start with vowels for 30 minutes of the session
Task idea: create a parkour course 20 blocks above the ground and convince half of the green life people to attempt the course.
If re-roll: if any of them fall off, you fail.
Task Idea - Make another player believe another player stole something from them
I don't think I'm a fan of this task to be honest. I truly was not expecting any task that would result in people losing hearts. Seems rather unfair
