- Secret Life is an odd mix of a Social and PvP Minecraft game started by Grian. Players are thrown into a tiny world with almost no rules, except survive as long as possible.
In Secret Life, players are given a random secret task to complete before the episode is over which rewards up to 10 hearts or bonus items. Easy Tasks can be rerolled once into a Hard Task which rewards up to 20 hearts or bonus items, but carries the penalty risk of losing 10 hearts if you fail it. If someone guesses your secret, it is no longer a secret, and you fail the secret task.
3 Lives = Green Player
2 Lives = Yellow Player
1 Life = Red Player
Red Players are given the goal of killing all the other players in the game.

hello, this is a formal complaint. the majority of your latest episodes have been over 1 hour long and some nearly 3 hours. this video, while great (thanks to bdubs constant presence) was only 27 minutes long. now my routine is ruined and the only thing breaking the silence in my room is the hum of the computer fan. longer episodes and more bdubs or we riot! right guys!!?

Even if Etho misunderstood the assignment, he did the task at 12:01 when Mumbo confirmed that he did it perfectly (like in the past series)
The way Etho misunderstood Martin made it seem like Martin was speaking a different language that Etho never heard before.

The dynamic between Joel and Etho is so funny. Definitely the most interesting out of any of the life series duo for me. I cant fully explain it tho, I just love it

I think part of it is that so many hermits and youtubers absolutely worship Etho, while Joel's energy is that he just treats him like anyone else. Etho's always super humble (which is why he always joins in on the "washed up" jokes too) but I reckon he just vibes with Joel treating him like a normal person, y'know?

The funny part is that he actually started doing what Martyn said to, unintentionally.

-Claiming that _he_ built the Crastle with Cleo and Bdubs was the one to send a missile at it
Problem was, he convinced no one and he only made two false claims (unless I'm missing one, I remember there was more past-seasons references in other POVs that were cut out of this one). Glad to see Ma-ha-rtyn gave him a pass though, because what we ended up with was hilarious.

I think it was really endearing that you misunderstood the task - I know when I'm pressured or overwhelmed, I also tend to mishear even basic things, haha! I wouldn't stress over it - we're only human! Also, Bdubs barking like a rabid dog when he saw Solidarity getting close to you was probably one of the funniest things I've ever seen in my life, LOL. He's got a heart of gold.

1) Get another player to continuously ride in a vehicle with you for at least 20 minutes
2) Convince another player to blow up something built in a previous episode
3) Build an ice sculpture and get at least three compliments on it
4) Get someone to correctly guess your task
Etho and Cleo is like a dad and a mum living their lives but the kid (Bdub) that recently moved out keep coming back because life is tough trying to be independent.
We've all been saying that this season is just post-Limited Life.
Scar's struggling on his own, while Bdubs is also struggling but keeps returning.
Telling someone they're so close on guessing a task is actually an amazing strategy for really throwing them off the trail.

I like how your task and Martyn's task could have spectacularly backfired on each other if you had understood him correctly. Because I think he thought you were asking for a fake task to use to throw the rest of the yellows off and gave you one for the purpose of having a yellow guess it incorrectly later, which would have failed you and him have to try again.

I'm so glad you and Cleo are basing together (let's be real, & Bdubs!). It's like Last Life except Bdubs is technically outside of the Crastle and constantly comes to visit just like you did to them. But unlike Last Life, you picked up a Grian! Yet another one of my dream teams I had hoped would happen, especially after your short-lived but shocking late game alliance last series. You three (4 with Bdubs lol) are going to be a force together. And just in time too as everything goes off the road when the reds show up! Next week is going to be chaotic. xD Hope y'all can grind some XP for those 30 level enchants ^^
This was a very nice low stress episode with lots of funny little moments - definitely a favourite this series so fa-har. ;)
I'm trying to figure out if you're trying to ga-ha-slight me into believing that the Crastle happened in Last Life, and not in 3rd Life, or if you're getting the facts confused yourself... Because that was definitely Cleo and Bdubs teaming in 3rd Life, and then Etho and Bdubs teaming in Last Life (though I would LOVE IT if the three of them properly teamed together... but Bdubs being the extra roommate that just shows up every day also works for me)
The funny little moments this season have been fantastic, though. I completely agree w/ you.
