Nnormal Tomir 2.0

First run in any Nnormal shoe for me. I had thought that this entire brand might be a bit too intense for me, as a primarily roads guy, but after talking with the brand at TRE last December I thought perhaps the changes to the Tomir could make it something that I could maybe get along with.

The shoe is roomy yet grippy, making it very fun on unstable uphills and fast downhills. And the roominess makes me think these will feel quite nice very late into a day of adventure. The shoes don’t exactly feel soft, in a road shoe cushion kind of way, but there is an all day comfort to these trail shoes.

Looking forward to testing these on a longer and perhaps muddier adventure.

Looks better than the first. I just couldn’t run on such a stiff shoe for a long time. It’s now a hiking shoe. Interested in the second iteration though.

Not sure. I’m not running as much trail in 2024. (It’s very much a roads year. 2025 will be a bit different)
