Thank you Kelly. It was a great tutorial. One of the best things I like about your videos is that your not rushing through them and you talk out loud with your thoughts about what your doing . That's what makes you stand out from the others and thank you for that.
Oh thanks so much.
I love how you explain and demonstrate. Plus, your voice is so incredibly soothing 😍 Thank you so much for this tutorial 🌸
Aw thank you so much 🌹
Kelly, you are such a good teacher, and everything you make is beautiful. So happy I found your youtube channel. This is the first time I saw this kind of art, and I am so excited to give it a try. THANK YOU!
Oh fantastic! I'm sure you'll love it, give it a go and take it slow, have fun 💕
Thank you Kelly for your super beginner tutorials. As a complete novice @ wire wrapping you move @ a good pace & i can easily see what you are doing. Great that you explain everything too, as it is an easy mistake to buy the wrong tools & wires!
Fortunately, as i craft polymer clay & resin jewellery i have some wires & tools i can practice with before investing in the more expensive stuff!..Looking forward now to following your other tutorials..Very best wishes, & thank you..xx
Aw thanks so much, sounds like you have a good head start. Have fun 🌸
This was so helpful to me! I've never done wire weaving/wrapping before but practiced each bit of the tutorial. It was fun but I have a long way to go, lol. Thank you tons.
Oh thank you, glad you found it useful, have fun 💕
Kelly, I have watched a bunch of videos on wire wrapping and these two have actually taught me more than all the others put together! Thank you for your very clear instruction and material information such as the wire gages, so helpful!
Oh wow, that’s great to hear! Thank you so much ❤️
I always love your tutorials!! I actually do make earwires. I do 2 at a time. What I do though is bend the wire. At the bend I make the loop slightly bigger than I want and continue the second bend and then the little bend out at the point that goes in the ear. I then snip the end at the loop and whalah two earwires. They dont move. You dont have to fidget with them at all. I hope this helps! You help so many people. I'm glad to share some little bit of knowledge with you as well! God bless you Kelly!!🥰🥰🥰
Ooo I'm going to have to try that 👍 thank you 😊 🤗💕
You're a big inspiration to myself and others! Thanks so much for taking the time to share your knowledge 💞🌷🌈🧚♀️
Aw, you're very welcome 🌷🌷🌷

Hi Kelly, thank you for these tutorials. I am not a complete beginner to wire work but not great at caging stones and making the pretty details. Really enjoyed watching you do your magic with the stone. I will try this out and see how I get on.
Oh great! Thank you 🌸
Wow this is the best beginner class I've seen. Thank you
Aw, wow, that means a lot to me. Thank you 💕
Beautiful and easy to follow, hopefully easy to recreate as well!!! 😊😊
🤞 good luck, have fun 💕 and thanks!
I am just getting started and this was very informative and inspirational. You are very talented and make it look so easy!
Thanks so much 😊
I use 1 wire and bend them in half equally and squash the wires like hair pins and make the earwires that way. File the ends of earwire and bam a pair of earings
Oo ok, that sounds good 👍

Aw, wow!! Thank you so much ❤️💕
@@KellyJonesJewellery you are welcome. You know, I have done your rose bud pendant three times in rapid succession, even though I have never done any wrapping before. They have been better each time despite having to make a few changes. I really want to buy a pdf tutorial from you on Etsy because you are so easy to follow and give such great information. I believe that is why I have been so successful so far. Thank you.
celina hicks oh great, thank you so much. The more you make the tidier and easier it will become and (as you probably know already) it’s so rewarding to have you own jewellery that you have made yourself 😍 thanks again 🌹
Fantastic! Gorgeous wrapped cab and a really great beginner tutorial! 😊 Thanks also for sharing your uk wire supplier info 👍
Aw thanks so much ❤
Once again you have done such a wonderful job on this tutorial! I really love how that gorgeous pendant turned out; you are so talented and you inspire me with your artistic vision. Thanks so much for the hard work that you put into these tutorials that you share with us all.
You're very welcome, how lovely of you to say ❤🌹🌹🌹
Extraordinarily helpful tutorials. I've got all the supplies and tools for wire-working, but haven't yet taken the plunge. These tutorials are just what I needed to get me going. I know that you make it look easy because you've been doing it for a while, but I truly feel like it's something I can master with practice. Also, I love the birdsong in the background! Lovely!
Aw thanks so much. Yes, please give it a go. Everyone starts at the beginning, so take it slow. Wirework is a beautiful and very rewarding challenge. You’ll love it ❤️
WONDERFUL,WONDERFUL!!!!
Thank you ❤️
Loved the video thank you!
You're very welcome, thank you 💕
Thank you,that was very helpful!
Oh great, I'm so glad, thank you ❤️

Thank You 😊
Thankyou. This is so very helpful xoxo
You’re very welcome ❤️
Thank you! 👍🏻
Very welcome 💕😊
Very pretty. You make it look so easy, but I tried a couple of your video tutorials, and they never come out the same. I've got some more practice to do. Thanks for sharing such pretty work.
Aw thanks so much. It does take a lot of practice, but that's half the fun. Enjoy ❤️
Thank you so much again❤️🙏
You're very welcome ❤
If you’re using round wire, it may even be more secure if you weave rather than wrap the smaller gauge wire.
Oh yes definitely 👍
Thank you ❤️
Thank you 😊
So pretty!
Thank you 🌹🌹🌹
Beautiful, thanks for sharing!♥️ (new subscriber)
Very welcome, thank you so much 💕😊
Loved your video. Do you have a more advanced one, using more loose wrapping techniques
Oo I'm not sure, loose wrapping? Have a look through my videos or there's always my Etsy shop, I have quite a range on there too 👍have fun ❤️
Hi Kelly thank you for making this tutorial, I'm not a total beginner with making wire jewelry, but I have no experience at wire weaving and making cabachon settings out of wire, when ever I have tried to make a wire cabachon setting I have failed it has not worked, I felt frustrated, because it's down to lack of experience, I have tried using 18 gauge, number 1 wire, for the frame, what is the best general working wire for a secure strong frame to make a cabachon frame? and what number wires did you use in this video? Great video by the way, and thank you so much for showing us beginners who dont have experience with wire weaving, how to do these 4 weaves, I will certainty have a go at doing them. Loved your wire jewelry videos, have you written any books? I could look for? Just curious. Thanks Laura in liverpool uk
Thanks so much ❤️ I did a tutorial on working with a frame, you’ll find it in my list. I use very thick wire for a frame, 14g (1.5mm) but for stone setting and everything else I generally use 20g (0.8mm) . I failed many many times when I first picked it up, I think you just have to be patient and take it very slowly, keep at it, it will all make sense soon ❤️ hope this helps 🌹
I’ve found this very instructional! (Best of: beginners instructional .... trust me I’ve been educating myself, as I have been collecting stones and learning about wire - silly me, bought findings). Did you mean to put in links to OxanaCrafts in your description?
Also, love the birds singing in the background, assists your sweet voice in creating a calming learning environment.
Thank you very much 💕 yes I mentioned oxana in the video so I thought I’d add a link. She has a lot of great beginner tuts (as well as advanced ones) she was always my go-to for learning when I started, so I couldn’t do a beginner video without mentioning her ❤️ thanks again 👍🌹💕❤️
Kelly, I love your tutorials! I have a question about heavy duty wire cutters. I bought a 1/4 inch wide gold filled pattern wire from Rio Grande that I need to cut. I am struggling to find appropriate cutters. Can you please suggest some for me? I am honored for your reply.
I’m sorry I can’t say, I haven’t used any wire that thick.
Type in your question in CZcams search bar to look for a video that will answer your question just try that, that what I always do, and usually I find the answer in the form of a video or tutorial. Laura from uk
Thank you 👍
Great Tutorial. Thanks a lot. I just wanted to ask what type of filing tool can I use if I want to file some edges on the wire?
Thank you so much. I use my partner's metal files, he's got a triangle one I use the most, anything really will do 👍
I have also heard of a file called a burr, which is for edges of wire to file them down supposed to be quicker than sandpaper, I'm going to look for one
Sounds great! 👍
Fantastik beautiful
Thank you ❤️
Are you using square or round for the base? And half round or round for the weave?
Round and round weaving wire 👍
Rather than imagine the size of the stone, wrap the circumference of the stone with low tack tape. Cut it off the stone and lay it flat. Then measure.
Yes you can do 👍 thank you
The Ganesh that you buy stones from, is this him because there are several with that name. Ganesh Gems Beads And Supplies?
It's ganesh kumar swami on Facebook
May I ask where you get your stones and crystals from?
I get my stones from India. There's a guy on Facebook called Ganesh, great quality and prices. Are you on Facebook?
Kelly Jones Jewellery yes I am thank you ❤️ do you have a link? I’ve tried looking on fb under That name and it’s quite popular.
