  • @aleksdeveloper698

    I have a 3080 and with FSR3 frame generation, probably will double frame rates on specific games.
    I know it is not enough for this monitor, but normally depends on which games are we talking about.

      @NoisyPixelNews  Před 9 měsíci +1

      it wasn't terrible enough to avoid the monitor entirely, but it is something to consider if you are nitpicky or a perfectionist with your gear. Its noticeable at times yet fades away

      Thanks for the info.
      Sadly I can’t find more info on this monitor. Based on your warning about burn-in, I’m steering clear. I would be using the monitor equally for work and games.
      Too bad since it looks like a great value choice otherwise.
      Maybe you could share further info?

    My 32" Sammy VA curved is artifacting at startup...should I get a VA or IPS? The only negative of IPS is the lower contrast and blacks, but better colors and response for gaming.

    • @a5cent
      @a5cent Před 4 měsíci

      There is no best.
      Personally, I hate IPS glow. Can't stand it. I went from VA to IPS and regret it.
      If you so far weren't put off by smearing in fast moving content, I'd say stick with VA. They are also cheaper than IPS.
      For gaming and media consumption, OLED is the non compromising option.
      If you are getting a monitor primarily for office work, then I'd go IPS, not for yourself, but for co-workers looking at your screen from an angle.

    Ive had this monitor since May and I have experienced 0 burn in. I use this monitor for both work and gaming so it gets an average of 8-10 hours of use a day.
    My main complaint was the HDR. I dont think HDR looks that great. When I initially got it, I had to return the monitor i got to best buy and replace it (and conveniently it was $100 off when I replaced it so i got money back) because Gsync was not working.
    For the price, its a solid monitor. Would recommend it.... for PCs. It looks like shit on PS5 and alot of features will NOT be available on Xbox because of the HDMI 2.1 bandwidth. It shines most using display.

    • @FukaiKokoro
      @FukaiKokoro Před 8 měsíci

      Do you think it's worth it for 309 USD? Being you own and us it.
      I'm having such a hard time picking a monitor. I am such a indecisive person. Any input would be wonderful. I want 165 hertz. Around 32-34 inches. Im in-between this monitor or the Samsung UR59 or Odyssey G5. Or LG ultragear or 34WN650-W. There's a few more I'm looking at but those are the "main" ones. I ate how indecisive I am. It could be a never ending spiral sometimes ahahaha. I just need to bite the bullet and buy one.

    • @rue6368
      @rue6368 Před 8 měsíci +1

      @FukaiKokoro for $309? A steal. I got mine for $389. It's hard to find a good ultrawide that meet good specs at that price point. It's a perfectly sized ultrawide. Not too big, not too small. Colors look fantastic however my complaint is not having a "black." If I play games like resident evil 2 remake, the "dark" is a little gray but it doesn't completely ruin the experience.
      Hdr, don't use it. Everything looks fantastic using SDR. It's a great monitor for the price point. I play RPGs that don't fully utilize the 21:9 ratio. This "burn in" thing is hog wash. Wouldn't worry about it.
      Recommend it. Worst case, if you don't like it, make sure it has a return policy.
      If you have a high end video card, you'll hit the buttery 165 no problem. Running RE4R @ 120fps is incredible.

      @NoisyPixelNews  Před 9 měsíci +2

      the monitor goes lower than that, enough to look down at the screen, and if I remember, it was about 1.5 inches, 2 inches from the desk when fully lowered. Hope that helps.

    Don't be afraid of burnout! It is difficult to achieve at home, burnout occurs when your monitor is turned on and there is a homogeneous picture, the so-called demo mode, if you just have animated wallpapers, then there will be no burnout, like the usual work profile-turned on, worked / played-turned off

    • @NoisyPixelNews
