- Super easy way to make big egg!
I love how this big egg turned out!
For this big egg I used Plaster of paris, water and a balloon.
How I made this big egg you can watch in the video.
It is super easy to make and the result is beautiful.
You can make eggs in any size you want.
I made this one pretty big and then I used it as a vase for my Easter decoration.

What do I have to do to not have it as breakable? I wanna make a decoration that isn’t gonna be essentially a giant eggshell
You can pour it all with plaster. Then it would have to dry a lot longer and it would be much heavier. This is just my guess.
@TJ Brewer, try adding Mod Podge, this will strengthen the plaster, if you want it even harder add a coat on the outside of the egg, this will however make it glossy, so I recommend just adding it to the mixture
Will I be able to break it in half after drying? My goal is to create a broke dinosaur egg. Thanks!
Hi and thank you for your comment :) Yes, you will be able to break it. In fact it is very fragile. But I'm not sure will you be able to have two big halves. This one in the video also broke and I used it like a decoration for my flowers. You can see it in this video: czcams.com/video/Vz0suiKmYA4/video.html

But how much time will it take to dry
It depends on what kind of plaster did you use. Mine was fast drying but I left it to dry for about 20 min. When you take it out of balloon let it dry more. Be careful, it can be very fragile so make few more just in case. Good luck with the project :)
