Fact - the neighbor has every right to Freedom of Speech - If the judge and his wife don't like the free speech of their neighbor, they can just ignore it.
or they can make their own speech. because that's what free speech means. but this is not a 1st amendment issue, or a neighbor dispute issue. it concerns a supreme court justice who has and will be making decisions about issues he is totally, extremely, openly biased about.

There is also the ultra-nationalism being promoted by the maga guru and their minions, the "women in the kitchen as baby producers" etc... What we are seeing is the rise of fascism in the USA and in many democracies, and it is very destructive. The clothing has changed, but the effect will be the same.. Just check out the ravages of Brexit (which was supported by the Fascist Britain First party) ...

All this time I thought the mature course of action was to tell the rude person I won't accept them speaking to me like that and end communication. I would like to hear the neighbor's story, it doesn't seem right that Mrs Alito did all the talking with the neighbor. What did Alito say, did he say anything to defend his wife? Did Mrs Alito embolden herself with her husband at her side and use vulgar language with the neighbor that prompted him to use the C word?
Never-the-less Alito knew the flag was upside down, he is just as guilty as if he put the flag up. This warrants a recusal at the very least or even impeachment from the bench.
