    So wait, you can use DC teg trailing arms for EF’s? And that way retain their disc brakes?

    • @BudgetGears
      @BudgetGears  Před 2 měsíci

      Yes, you can use EG and EK as well. They all have the same geometry except for the DA. DA is the odd one out of the bunch.

    Actually you can mount the spindle only on to ek trailing arms and your done old man taught me that who would of thought😅

    • @BudgetGears
      @BudgetGears  Před 10 měsíci

      That's correct. You can actually bolt spindles onto any of the 88-00 civic/delsol drum trailing arms, but if you're already buying disc trailing arms, you might as well just get non DA ones and just bolt them up. The process of removing the spindles isn't always easy since they're really tight or seized on there.

    Do you like the feel of the new bushings?

    • @BudgetGears
      @BudgetGears  Před rokem

      Yes, they feel great. My entire car is polyurethane bushings. The entire car feels solid so you do feel everything, but I like the solid feel.

      Not sure if this question is legit. The video explains it all.

    I see your bc plates, are you by any chance apart of the bc ef club?

    • @BudgetGears
      @BudgetGears  Před rokem +1

      I follow the club, but I haven't been to any meets yet. They look like a bunch of nice guys. One of my friends has been to some of their meets. I may go in the summer though.

    No DA trailing arms stick out further or makes wheel stick out further...get EF Civic sedan EX or 90-91 CRX Si !

    • @littlejapanesehotrod
      @littlejapanesehotrod Před 2 lety +1

      But a simple way to get the right track width is to use any ef/eg/Ek and DC trailing arms and just use da spindles .because the crx and sedan are extremely rare to find now

    • @BudgetGears
      @BudgetGears  Před 2 lety +1

      That's what I said in the video. But any 88-00 civic trailing arms or 94-01 integra trailing arms will work for disc conversion.

      @@oldskool1979 I know they are but when you did the da trailing arm set up long as time ago .. some don't like the look of drums aswell

      I am having this issue. I have da trailing arms on my crx. It made it wider. Which wasn’t an issue until i recently bought new wheels.. so if i got 92-00 or 94-01 trailing arms it would be less wide?
