I'm tellin' y'all, Killmonger's 'Wakanda Forever' is said mockingly; it was purposeful, *not* a bad line reading by Michael. He's actually showing how corny (for lack of a better term) he thinks they are. Killmonger saying it in the heat of battle makes the Dora *think* he's sincere, since actions speak louder than words.
Yeah, the fact that he says it so many time the same way, it just feels “mocky”

It’s not always about the motive, it’s about the method. Killmonger was a genius. He made everyone around him play completely into his favor almost effortlessly. Most other Marvel villains have crucial flaws or make major mistakes. Killmonger was efficient, calculated.
Michael B. Jordan is truly a brilliant voice actor. This episode showed the objectives Erik "Killmonger" Stevens went to do come true in the end, with a warning that his actions will bring consequences. Shuri & Pepper teaming up is terrific.

This whole episode is every Super Villain wet dream come true. Not only we get the perspective of the Villain but all he’s schemes to take over go as planned. In this the Villain gets the plot armour.
Killmonger is that one guy that always wins as the imposter.
I love the complete polarization with how the reactors either admired Killmonger’s genius or were frustrated that he was pulling it off 😂

I really thought this episode would be about how Tony's & Erik's friendship starts falling apart.
Watching this episode, I couldn't shake the heavy feeling in my stomach watching Killmonger do everything he did and I held my breath when he visited Wakanda. Damn, what an episode.
Brilliant editing. Thank you for including the core motivations of Killmonger and storyline of Black Panther, for example 11:34. So many reactors cut out the "For T'challa" and I thought that was a nice nod to Chadwick.

I was hoping the same thing too! I just thought that it would be like if T’Chaka raised him along side T’Challa and he’d grow up to be his cousin’s partner. And instead of being the next Black Panther, he’d at least have his own take on a feline-themed persona… like Black Jaguar or something…

Pretty sure Killmonger would be like 26 at this time. If he was in Afghanistan and Iraq for his tours, he would have been around 20 years old, which was a common age for military persons back then.
They did mention that he graduated Annapolis at 19 so he'd already be an officer at 20.

It’s crazy how Killmonger is my fav marvel character. He could be the perfect antihero, always has an agenda, extremely smart in warfare combat, and just an interesting backstory. He has been “alone” most of his life so he lives by that and is willing to be “alone at the top” if it coms to that. Michael B Jordan couldn’t have been a better cast and I never seen him in a villain role and killed it.
The only cool thing about Killmonger is that he likes anime as much as Michael B. Jordan who plays/voices him

The sad part is that as the show keeps going and T'challa keeps showing up you can hear Chadwick's voice getting hoarser. He must have been really ill at that point.
Just when I thought Killmonger was gonna be a hero.
When I watched this episode for the first time, I felt this was a little out of left field, Killmonger being there felt pretty random, but I just shrugged it off as anything is possible in the multiverse. However, a month or two later I rewatched Black Panther, and noticed something that made me do a HUGE double take. When talking about Killmonger’s past feats and personal history, Senator Ross mentioned that HE SERVED IN AFGHANISTAN!
That last line from the watcher still gives me chills

Tony wasn't humbled (well, slightly humbled) like he was on Earth-199999 (MCU universe). And he's a genius with machinery, not necessarily with people. Killmonger seems to be a genius with people, though, seeing the way he was able to play everyone like pieces on a chessboard.
I love that anything not blatantly comedic or lighthearted is "too much" or "too dark". Ahh, life.

Re-watching this. It’s really underrated. Killmonger being a hero working with Avengers would have been amazing. Now that Multi-Verse is here, Killmonger can return. He’d be massive help against Kang.
