- While art is meant to be admired, you don't want to get too close or things could go horribly wrong. In one case, a sand sculpture was purposefully destroyed after it was allegedly vandalized by a teen in Hawaii. In another case, the damage was accidental when a boy tripped and punched a hole in an oil painting. Here's a look at some masterpieces that haven't been treated so nicely, including a piece by Banksy. #InsideEdition

She certainly should have had to pay First Class airfare for the artist to return to fix it as well as First Class hotel accommodations for his time there. His time and effort should be worth something also. That just "evens things out." There should also be a fine for the destruction of private property.

As an artist (not a good one, just a young girl who sketches and makes characters to draw for fun), this really annoys me. People who destroy art for fun have no idea how much time and energy was put into the piece. Its sad.
