I'm looking forward to mw3 and warzone. This past year of warzone has been horrendous, I have stuck with it the whole time but can't say I had much fun. The new movement system sounds sick and I am looking forward to being able to improve as I play more! Also can't wait to see some sick team wipes from you Joe with the new movement!

Thank for going through early modern warfare 2. Alot of people forget the details which prevents change for good in the future
Early Mw2 and even early mw1 fast ttk wasn't a lack of skill gap.
It was people having a lack of situational awareness or extremely poor gameplay positioning.
People were complaining because they couldn't turn 180 degrees and melt someone who just caught them carelessly moving with their pants down.
It punished bad players and supported smart players. And everyone complained and whinged about it??
MW3 is going back to supporting bad players again by punishing players that put in the effort to position perfectly before a fight. Mw3 is gna be noob boosting trash.

As a person who didn’t really like all the movement at first in wz1 I was super happy they removed the slide cancelling and bunny hopping. But as I got better at wz2 I saw a plateau in my skill cause there wasn’t really anything I could do to outplay, and in hindsight movement was a great thing and the fact they removed was absolutely horrible. But I don’t think we should put all the blame on the devs because a lot of the time they’re not the people in charge of mechanics, they develop the things creative directors come up with.
We have to wait and see gotta love the smoothment

Hope gun unlocks stay with the gun itself as I hate having to use other guns to unlock attachments for the gun you want to use.

I’m SUPER excited for MW3, I everything I was hoping would change, is changing, I couldn’t be happier! But the biggest thing I’m excited about is the increased TTK in 6v6. The only difference between core 6v6 & Hardcore is having no hud.
Honestly i think dolphin diving if they keep the feature will screw up slide canceling unless they make it different button layouts?

Movement will be back, but really hoping the changes don’t end here. The yellow marker when you down someone needs to be back (much more satisfying than the stale and hard to see white marker we get now), rebirth island needs to be a playable option, and guns need to have the classic names back. Just to name a few
I can remember crazy Joe , Z , Doc , Tim Clips from Warzone 1 , I don't remember a single clip from Warzone 2 , they all look same.
It’s sounds good, but the devs and suits have made promises in the past that they didn’t come through with. At this point I’m a “believe when I see it” guy when it comes to COD.
I'll be waiting to see reviews this time, not falling for it again.

Would be nice if we went back to the good ol Verdansk days where it didn’t feel like running through mud and where you didn’t get stuck for 10 minutes trying to mantle a 6” tall rock. Movement effing sucks right now.
Would also be nice if they brought back the no-gimmick high-skill one-shot sniping like we had with the GOAT Kar98
Kar98 has massive rotational AA, that's why most ppl love it.

For me the best part of warzone 1 was plunder . With plunder constantly being removed in mw2 makes that unplayable.

FACTS
Back in the Verdansk days, I would consider myself an average, “casual” Warzone player. I averaged like a 2 KD, nothing sweaty or outstanding by any means. But even I think sweaty movement that allows for a skill gap should be in the game. Not only does it give Warzone a higher ceiling for learning/improvement, but it also makes it more fun to watch, whether it’s spectating your sweaty teammates while your dead or when watching some of the best players in the world on stream.
I plan on starting a wz2 channel so i want the increased skill gap so i dont get bored af lol
2kd is NOT average
Most Average players are below a 1KD haha
Average was always said to be 1.0, but Jgod did what he does and revealed that average is 0.74
High ttk and lagging fast movement that borks hit registration isn't a skill gap. It allows people who messed up their positioning before a gunfight to weasel their way to safety without being punished for their poor mistakes.
Mw2 was actually legit in the beginning. Too many salty streamers that couldn't play to save their lives complaining though and made the devs turn the game into some neutral game of nothingness.
The game was supposed to be position based without fast movement and slide cancelling and all they did was nerf damage and boost aim assist so without movement and nerfed damage the game became a game of aim assist luck wars.
Cod is dead let it go. I'm not spending a single penny on another title.
I started in warzone 2 and I’ve seen all these clips from warzone 1 I’ll just say I’m gonna be getting bodied even more now it’s hard enough trying to get good in warzone 2 :(

I’m hoping this makes the game better. If it does, the only request I would make is to bring back the smoothness of snipers in warzone 1. I don’t need the kar98 or Swiss to come back, I just want that original feeling and how satisfying it was.
I hope it all comes back but we can’t be sure until the game comes out. If I knew for sure, I would definitely pre order.

i love the slide cancel but the stim play plus slide canceling you pretty much teleport to other dimension lol. hopefully they wont do that shit again

To me, I feel like they did everything in WZ2.0 purposely. For the reasons you mentioned too.
Now they can take credit for something that we had, and was removed urpoaely just so it can be added back in later like some sort of “change”, or “feature”
I believe it was a TEST.
“Let’s do the exact opposite of make a good game, but focus on the store and pumping bundles”.
Maybe they wanted to see the bottom line revenue while neglecting the game completely.
The sad part is, if they were able to make enough money using that method, I don’t think we’d ever get a good title again.
I guess we will find out come December, eh? There’s absolutely zero chance I stick around if this game isn’t better than awesome within the first Season.
Fingers crossed anyway. Even if it’s amazing, I’ll never look at the game the same again. Especially being treated like you just mentioned with the tweets and trolls.

they did that for inclusion..it's the inclusion culture..you see it everywhere from movies to tv shows..inclusion is "trending"..i miss the 90s where people were fine with what worked and stayed consistent with source material...fans only asked for new maps and guns...that's it..they completely shite all over us with this god awful mess of a game in warzone 2..

Has anyone considered that Activision is putting us on this emotional rollercoaster because their great warzone 1 followed by a terrible warzone 2 is essentially the same concept as SBMM you get some very good games then some very very tough games but it becomes an addictive cycle. I think they're applying the same psychological tactics to the actual game releases.
A big part is psychology, indeed. You could be right, makes sense. COD is nothing but a dopamine addiction, too. Like mindless scrolling on social media or cigarettes. People get addicted. First, they give you a world class drug = WZ1 (not my opinion but the communities). After that, they gave us punched up rubbish = WZ2. And now they coming around the corner with another world class drug quality = MWIII (APPARENTLY, we don't know yet) to get everybody hooked again. It's drug dealers 101. Been there, done that.
This sounds like a far fetched conspiracy theory but this is literally how they discuss their plans and see their customers. Toys to be controlled and manipulated
nah bro the devs just dont play there own games, additionally they wanted to cater to the average player which is a good thing in certain genres of gaming... but when it comes to FPS they just took it to far. they removed load outs (equipment adv) then movement (skill adv) and lowered time to kill (skill adv) all of which catered to billy bob

Game development hasn't been about game development for a long time now. It's about making the highest possible profit on a product. Nah they tried to cater to casuals and tactical shooter gamers because they thought they could make more money and failed because the game was boring and the real money comes from dedicated sweats and streamers. Literally everyone was watching streamers back in WZ1, I had 6 myself I was watching each day but MW2 was just too boring to watch daily.
I don’t understand why ranked didn’t have different health values and movement from regular BR. They can have grandpa mode and sweat mode exist on the same game at the same time
