Awesome video!! New York is so exciting. I’m from a small town in Arkansas and I was super excited when I visited Time Square. I loved the cliff hanger of the beginning of the race.

We had a local race here in Western Germany just yesterday. It was very warm and humid. A 20 year old collapsed at the finish line of the half and died in hospital just a few hours later. It was a surprisingly similar incident to the one at Brooklyn. Get your hearts checked regularly folks to help prevent these tragedies!
I assume New York half is undulating / hilly as well? What with the heat and the course profile it’ll probably be at the slower end of your time estimate. Doesn’t matter - have fun!
Soar gear is absolute mint! It looks like I have the exact same shorts you have. Unfortunately when running at pace they seem to ride up at the crotch and it's really infuriating as i may aswell be wearing budgie smugglers. I'm not sure if it's my body shape or the design of the shorts. Every other piece of Soar gear I have is perfect. I've seen they have the new race shorts out but I'm not willing to risk the having the same issue with them...yet

I have the same problem (not with soar) and always put it down to some slight hip misalignment or something ! Bloody annoying tho you’re right.
it's pretty similar to Nike AeroSwift 2' shorts that I had, not sure what's wrong with the design or perhaps my body shape *sigh
