This is why I am comfortable buying different types of coins from you like Indian head cents and barber coins . Because when you show the coins you say it like it is like this is original or this has old light cleaning and so on .
This happens to me at my shop people will say I need ten hitches on ten cars and want a discount. I tell them it will be regular price and the discount will be given on the tenth truck . My dad raised me to shoot straight and be honest .
This is critical in the trailer hitch industry cause people can die cause a lot of people think it’s okay to tow 10,000 lbs with a 5,000lb hitch .
The customer is not always right it’s my duty to keep them safe whether or not they buy from me . If they do buy from me it will be the right stuff . Great video

Well said, even though I’m not a coin dealer I’m a buyer so for me pictures are my first priority. I’ve bought a lot of 15$-35$ fake quarters & one Morgan when i first started collecting and that’s because I thought of “ romantic deals with the sellers”. Please don’t ask me about the fake Morgan.

Usually when i buy a coin collection I pay about 75% of what their collect is worth. Then I make a 25% profit. I only do purchases where I can be there counterfeits and stuff. Sometimes it may be a 60:40 split on some items if I think it's a slow seller. But I do negotiate with the customer.
Hi love your channel, the 1841 vg10 1 dollar that rim bump was not mentioned by pgcs when grading why not ? On another note how you broke down the r and e a the start was great. I have a monthly coin show i go to and one dealer lost my business. usually grades his coins 1-2 grades higher than what other dealers think it should be and there are alot of dealers there. Also his prices are marked up. He gets no referral business from me, be up front and honest.

On your CAC submission. Do you agree with the idea floating around that CAC and PCGS are attempting to see who can grade the hardest and or downgrade crackouts and resubmissions?

CAC is now doing crossovers from pcgs and ngc. It's weird to me that they started the company publicly criticizing collectors and small dealers for "cracking their slabs on the showroom floor" to re holder and make a profit to now. hey guys let's accept crossovers!?!?!? Like what is actually going on here...
I had people asked me about their coins and I tell them straight up of what I think they are. Either Fake or they have been cleaned. They can take it or not is up to them.
