I love the 2020 a lot I looking to buy one what u think is better 2018 Camry or the 2020 Corolla
When are the 2020s expected to go on sale? I know they are just expected to show up in dealer lots....
Based on my first impression and the opinion of some of your viewers... I will choose the 2019 🙊 GREAT comparison Mr. ToyotaJeff 🥊
Tesla model 3
2020
Never seen a salesman get on his knees, I'd buy from you in a heartbeat. Love your enthusiasm.
Nuevo León 😂
I'll wait for Scotty Kilmer's approval before I buy one.
Lmao
Rev up your endless money pits
I don’t think he’s gonna approve it’s not a celica
@@steveduarte8602 He doesn't like CVT's although he does admit of them all Toyota makes the best one
If you stick with the 1.8l and CVTi-s it is essentially the same Corolla as always, but the XSE with the CVT having a physical first gear, and a new 2.0l engine with both direct and port injection. I'm worried about the longevity considering how complex those two systems are, and he probably would be too and say stick with the base 1.8l and the proven CVTi-s.
Corolla certainly has come a long way. Practicality, reliability, and safety all in one😎
Bro last week I was driving home on the highway I saw a corolla completely crushed like a soda can from the trunk to the front seats ):
@@rickyymunoz probably got in a head on collision. Theres not much that a small car can do to save you from that
Has good designing too
Toyota is coming through with these designs and engines! I just hope their reliability don’t go down. I’ll be loyal to Toyota forever!
i like the front end of the 2019 more but the back end looks better on the 2020 model
Got my 2020 Corolla SE in June one of the best choices I’ve made so far 👌
congrats. hope you did buy the manual transmission :)
No cvt, no turbo, no hybrid, no push start stop button, scotty advice
@A A any japanese brands what feels in your heart, im a toyota/lexus fan
I got 2020 Camry and an 2020 corolla and will buy a 2020 dodge charger.
How much did you pay for it?
How many 5-hour energy drinks did ToyotaJeff drink before this video? 🤨🤨🤨

Nice comparison....rare to find a video with so many details jammed into one spot....nice work!
2020! I just purchased a 2020 LE in November. I'm still learning, but I love it! I was anxious about being a female senior citizen driving a Corolla, but I've noticed other mature ladies in this town sporting around in theirs, also! They're the spiffy-looking senior ladies with the big smiles!
Is it just me, or the 2019 is better looking from the FRONT? 🧐 By the way, I just uploaded a review of my 🔥2019 Corolla that performed 51 MPGs Highway🔥. NON HYBRID, I repeat NON HYBRID, regular 1.8 liter engine.
Just u lol
U right the 2019 is better looking from the front
Just you dude. 2020 looks nicer
the interior also looks better in the 2019. you have circle vents and no dial for adjusting the ac. the interior in the 2019 looks like an european car. I guess we would have to wait another 3 years for a better redisign.
HappyCarReviews It's just you...
I LOVEEEE Watching Your Vids Keep 'Em Coming
I love this guys enthusiasm. You deserve this like dude
Nicely done comparison. Thank you.
OMG!!!!!!! I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!! The 2020 for sure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How are you guys so lucky to get new models so early!?!?!? Our local dealership doesn’t even have many 2019 RAV4 yet lol!!! Nice Video!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the upload mate 👍👍👍
you were fun to watch, loved your sound effects
Just had the 2020 Corolla SE as a rental and drove 400 miles across West Virginia and absolutely loved it! I own a 2017 Corolla LE as my daily driver and it's alright. But first thing I thought about the 2020 is that it's a little Lexus! The power, suspension, technology, interior/exterior design, sporty seats and driver aids were amazing, it literally drove itself under light supervision by me, through the mountainous, curvy roads of West Virginia! I'm going to configure one and see what I'm looking at and start considering a trade.
Yes they are nice and am thinking about getting a 22, so did you end up going with the 20 ?
@@independent2368 I'm still in my sweet Carol (17 Corolla LE), but I have a 21 Honda Civic that is a solid contender. I'd recommend a test drive in both to see which suits you better.
Dang. What a beautiful redesign toyota did for the 2020 corolla.
this was so informative and ammusing, thanks!
Love the energy so I subscribed. Jeff you need to review other non Toyota cars!
Lol you’re funny and informative at the same time..thanks for the entertaining demonstration of the corollas!
Here's my comment hoping for the shark tank thing. Haha. Entertaining and informative as always. Keep up the good work.
Awesome job on the walk around and the add libbing. I'm a fellow Toyota sales professional that is absolutely estatic about the all new 2020 Corolla. Im seriously considering purchasing one
Great video Jeff!
nice review
I love the good job done, the passion just got me
Thanks for the informative review
Awesome video brother! 💯 I'll be shopping with you very soon. I need a fully spec'd SE or XSE.
I own a 2018 Corolle SE and the front actually look unique and upscale. The standard full LED headlights and Day Time Running strips are nice features. Interior also feels premium and is rommy for its size. Ive been told it kinda looks like a mini Lexus. I like the 2020 Corolla too. Its a nice car that will sell thousands around the world like past generations.
You are really Saul Godman bro!! Great and enthusiastic comparison.
I liked and subscribed because you are so entertaining..you really helped me thank you ....just wish I was good at getting a good price ...they always take advantage of me
Kelly Bluebook Thank you so much Kelly that is really nice of you to say. I don’t suppose you live anywhere close to Raleigh do you? I can make sure you got the absolute lowest price possible just because you said what you said.
12:09. I really like that the designers incorporated the infotainment screen into the dashboard.
Jeff, you sir are a stone cold trip..so comedic anyway this car is so beautiful, great job toyota! cant wait to test drive one of these. Do you know when they will be coming in Jeff? thanks
2020👍 Really enjoyed your video Jeff. I thought John Walcks comment 5 mths ago was funny...."The iPad mini glued to the dash sucks". New subscriber from New Zealand 🙂
Love the profile on the 2020 compared to the 2019 but interior space looks to be bigger on the 2019, especially the back seats.
The back end of the 2019 corolla looks like it came from a 2010 car.
The front end is a whole different story though.
who the fuck would want a cool looking toyota better yet a corolla? lmfao
Wonder why I like the 2019. I have a 2010 and I'm looking to upgrade. I think I'll get 2019 white
Getaway Driver 750 I said the same thing.
Then I test drove a 6 speed hatchback corolla.
Now it’s parked in my driveway with 1,000 miles lol.
ambria harris if you drive a manual. Get the hatchback 6 speed! I can recommend, so smooth and fun!
@@beanvan99 yeah I prefer automatic transmission. Stick is too hard for me. Im too busy to shift. Thanks though.
16:10 I love your enthusiasm!😂
You reminds me of Saul goodman ! 😃
Great going jeff love your reviews
Are you able to change out the 2019 entertainment system for the 2020 with the Apple Car Play?? If so, can I by the unit at the dealer? Or third party?
Excellent Job Jeff. I am stuck on 2019
idc but he is a good guy on camera and probably off camera, he had such a happy attitude and he could just make people smile. such a nice dude
2020 Corolla XSE sedan for the complete win! How soon for the 2020 Camry TRD and the Avalon TRD sedans? Mark in Iowa.
Dudes gotta go into stand up comedy I was rolling 😂
Love your energy
Have the 2019 se love it won't change
Great job!
Lovely, informative video.
I hope this guy keeps going and never getting a copyright lawsuit for all of his song quotes LOL. Love the puns
Can you please do a comparison between the 2019 RAV4 XLE Premium and the 2019 RAV4 Adventure? Love your videos too!
The front of the 2020 looks like darth vader helmet and the back resembles a storm trooper.
Great review.
I own a 2019 Corolla se. I think the 2019 looks better than the 2020.
Nah
Yes, more aggressive
Yea I got my 2019 se in november 2018. I love it
Same
I don’t own a Toyota, but I agree. Lol.
Just bought a 2019, got a nice deal on it as the 20's were coming in and they wanted to liquid stock (at least that is what I tell myself). Anyway, thanks for making these videos, they are very informative and helpful. Cheers,
how much did you pay for your 2019. I was offered one for purchase and I want to know what a good deal is on it. thanks.
I purchased the vehicle at Bernardi Toyota in Framingham in May 2019. All in (tax, delivery etc etc) I paid $20,000. Its a Falcon Gray Corolla SE with standard SE features I didn't upgrade anything. As I recall the sticker price, before tax was right around 22.5K, like I said I think I got a good deal, maybe not a great deal by some standards but I was happy enough.
Really nice cars. I've been driven Toyota for 16 years. No issues at all.
I like the front of 2019 but the side, rear, and interior of 2020 is awesome looking. I would choose 2020!
Thank you!!
Are the LEDs on the 2020 better/brighter? You should do a night comparison.
2019 front looks betterrrr
I personally think the 2017-2019 Corolla’s look better on the exterior but the 2020 Corolla killed it with the interior changes I’m getting a 2019 Corolla this week!
I agree I have the 19 Corolla
Lol same here, 2019 gang 🤙🏽
I think they are both really really good designs. I personally have a 17 SE so I am really partial to mine! I like my car a lot! I think the 19 SE fronts looks better. Although the 2020 is still knocking it out of the park! I also do like that mine has the softex seats too.
I much prefer the embedded type design of the infotainment screen on the 2019. Other than that the 2020 takes the cake.
I thought next gen comes out in aug - september. Is it out already? Anyone pull apart a 2.0L, curious on the reliability. The 1.8 has been around forever. The compression ratio is higher in the 2.0L.And I haven't seen a recent toyota with a 2.0L. The old matrix had a 2.3L.
Great video, Jeff. Thanks, I've wanted to see this one. Definitely the 2020 Corolla SE! It looks better, front, side and back plus it really doesn't cost that much more than the 2019 when you consider the bigger engine and better gas mileage. And better transmission. Last November I was comparing the 2019 Corolla SE and 2019 Camry SE - it was no contest, I bought the Camry. I'd still get the Camry over the 2020 Corolla but it's a more difficult choice. Whew, no buyer's remorse. Yet!
It is tough to directly compare cars from different categories. In the case of the 4 cylinder Camry you get more space, more power and better highway mpg so the Corolla's
only real advantage is the manual option.
Thanks for the overview. While all the insets and layers of of the front and rear bumpers look cool, it is more parts that have to be replaced with a small collision. A simple tap in the front will smash that grill to bits.
I'm going to miss my 03 when I finally decide to get a new Corolla, I love the simplicity of manual windows and steering wheels that aren't covered in buttons, haha. Not to mention how cheap and easy it is to fix myself. The engine on the 2020 sounds great and the mpg matches what my 9th gen got from factory just about. The earlier 11th gens look so much better to me though. It's gonna be a tough decision when I get there. Either way, I'm sure I'll love it to pieces.
I had 2 11th gens and the suspension was squeaky in both before 15k miles. One was 2015 LE plus and the other was 2019 SE
@@pwdt4r313 I test drove a 2014 a few months back and I didn't hear anything like that luckily; I think it had around 60k on it. I'm planning on probably getting a 2015 S; but that's about 18 months - 2 years out; by then the 12th gens will be out long enough I think I'll be comfortable adding them to the equation, but they'll probably be out of my wanted price point. We'll see what happens; my 03 is at 261k and going strong so I should have the luxury of time to be choosy as I near the end of my truck payment. Any suspension would probably be better than what I have going on in my car at the moment... struts aren't looking so hot haha.
@@cayleighmyers1942 lol. Also I think on your generation the odometer doesn't go beyond 299,999 so I'm curious if that's for all of them or not. I watched a video of someone trying to record themselves rolling to 300k and it never did hahaha
Why don't you keep your '03, if you have the space? Insurance would be nearly nothing on a car that old, so it shouldn't cost you much to hang onto it. I plan on buying a Corolla with a standard transmission next year, because I want a bigger car, and I want to learn how to drive a manual. Current car is an '09 Yaris, which I've owned since new. I love it because it's got crank windows and no keyless entry. I know I'd miss my Yaris, which is why I'm going to keep it!
Cayleigh Myers I have an 06 corolla and just bought a 2017 corolla. You will love the ride and comfort and power. You may not like the cvt transmission at first, but it will grow on you with its smoothness.
Hello jeff, i would like to know if you can replace the cupholders in the second row with an extra seat on the SE TRIM.
Depends on if they have eliminated the possibility of the CVT going south. Here in Japan the standard models get better gas mileage bc the engine is 1.5L.
Great job Awesome 😎 man
This mans on that hardcore stuff lol but the 19' is the winner for me my family owns one se in galactic aqua and we love it
hahaha hi Beverley and thanks for watching!!! Jeff
Hey jeff im a new sub here woooh!, whats the diff between rear torsion beam of 2019 and 2020 rear double wishbone?do you feel the difference when you driving each one of them?
Jeff.... I just went and test drove a 2020 Corolla LE ECO. I own a 2017 Toyota LE ECO. so it was a straight across the board Apple's to Apples comparison. I love seeing the exterior styling of the new Corolla, however when you get on the inside and you sit down you feel like you're sitting on a rock. My 2017 is plush, where it feels like you're actually really sitting on a seat lol. When I got out of the seat I heard plastic, like a snapping sound. Seats in the 2020 are cheap! With that being said I got into the rear seat and it felt the same way, like I was sitting on a rock. Legroom was good because Toyota made the seats with a longer travel time to where the driver, and the rear passenger had plenty of room. When I got out of the rear seat to exit the cabin, because there is little Headroom, I hit my head on the frame. I got back into the front seat and turned on the stereo, turned on the A/C, the stereo, and put it in drive to head down the road. The ride in the new Corolla is far superior than the 2017. The way it takes bumps in the road is smooth. The engine is very very peppy and it is superior to the 2017. however the stereo completely sucks compared to the 2017. There is no sound separation and it sounds like every other car I have had. I wanted to have the color blizzard white pearl again, with the Macadamian (a light tan) interior. All they had was grey or black interior. the dealer stated that the macadamian color was super hard to get. The USB connection for an iPod or anything else that you want to hook up to it was located in a very awkward and inconvenient area.... inside the middle console. You had to open it to get to it, and compared to the 2017, where its located is by the gear shift in the front panel on the dash. I like the unique styling in the 2017 as far as the dashboard is concerned as well. in the 2020 it just looks like a Camry or a RAV4. Nothing unique. All in all I did not like the car, and I left the dealership keeping my 2017 Toyota Corolla LE eco. Toyota in my estimation has dropped the ball considerably on this model!!!!
Like the 2020 back
The 2019 front looks better. People are only saying the 2020's front looks better because it's newer. As for the back, as decent/good as the 2019 is (it looks standard, to be honest), I'd prefer the 2020's back. I'm in the market for a first car, and my brother's been instructing me along the way. I'm just debating whether to go with 2017 Corolla, 2018 Corolla or 2019 Corolla or maybe one of the Prius'. I'm not sure yet.
if you're a car person you definitely don't get the prius... I say as a first car, the less elctonic it has the BETTER it is... 'cause you'll find it hard to drive but quickly adapt... then years later when you jump on a brand new one; they'll be easy as hell to drive :P
Get the 2019 Corolla SE model .. I just test drove one and I loved it. Try that out. Good Luck !
@@ingridt5004 Thanks! TSS-P is something I've really been trying to get too and I think the SE trim of the 2019 has it.
@@DarkReapersGrim I drive the LE Eco and it has it as well. All trims have it on 2019 Corolla. LE Eco has better horsepower and fuel economy than SE.
I love how the youtube subtitles say the 2019 start up Engine is “applause” and the 2020 is “music”🤣🤣🤣
Our mate do you have a time machine did you go forward to 2020 from 2019
you are the best jeff !!!! I really enjoyed your wonderful comparisons for 2019/2020 corolla review. I got a clear idea which 1 i want to buy and the way you compare and explain the features is fabulous. No sales man can outstand your passion and for this hardwork and awesomeness video you must surely hit more than 1M likes...!! :) I choose 2020 corolla !
Jeff is the type of guy that gets excited seeing trunk spoiler on economy car with hubcaps.
I’m fired up!!
Good job Jeff
So lets say if in the future my stereo broke im stuck with that tablet in the middle cause there is no space for a new stereo
2020 Corolla FTW!!! 31 city 40 hwy 34 combined convinced me.
How does the road noise compare? Previous gen had too much road noise to be acceptable, especially when compared to some Kia models.
2019 looks better in the front and inside. The back of the 2020 has improved

Could you please do a break down on the PADDLE SHIFTERS? I have yet to met anyone with them, that actually use them, I hope that makes sense. Thank you.
ALEX SAMUEL total sense
Where is it made? and What are the parts break down? ie: Engine and Parts where are they made from?
Wow, Good video, fun person I like those odds I can not lie, The 2020 looks amazing.
The engines sound similar. Other than that everything is new. I’ll say that it will get some getting used to with the 2020. I kinda like the exterior of the 2019 better but interior goes to 2020! Also if Toyota is big on safety they should include BSM and RCTA as standard equipment.
That's because the 1.8L I4 and 7-step CVT combo is essentially carried over on the L, LE, and XLE.
The new 2.0L I4 from the Hatchback is found on the SE and XSE however, with that new CVT and 6-speed manual option.
And I personally do prefer the 2020's look better, not for the sake of new being always better.
Lol, very entertaining, what a character! In the market to buy a Corolla, I'm really liking the 2020, more!
You're, very informative!
Toyota killing Honda in these days
Honda is killing itself.
I test drove a Civic and Corolla (new hatchback) which has same platform, engine and interior as the new 2020 sedan and was able to tell diff right away...Corolla just had the better interior, improved ride and handling and was actually quiet. Unfortunately I wasn’t impressed with the Civic...yes ride and handling was good but interior mat’ls looked cheaper than the Corolla. Btw I also test drove the new Mazda 3 and that thing was really good! Better 2.5L engine, 6-spd auto, quiet and plush interior, great handling and just looked amazing with the new but slight redesign!
For my money it’ll come down to either the new Corolla or Mazda 3...
Both is very good cars
I have a 2018 Honda Civic EX-L and it’s amazing!
James Tiernan it gets stuck in canadian winters I have no time to shovel around it just to get out of my parking space
Give it away! Give it away! Give it away Now! ~Red hot chilli pepper~ keep up the excellent work
If the front side of the 2019 and the back side of the 2020 combined. That would be a really nice looking Corolla.
smago88 SO TRUE!!!
the black line connecting the tailights isn't necessary, but it has a lexus vibe.
2020 fo sho!! Love the humor, wish you were in my area, I would totally purchase from you!
I like the looks if the 2019 better, however, I like the 2020s better safety sense, option for Android Carplay, and 2.0 engine. Nice.
Van Halen and Battlestar Galactica references, cool my friend
