What happens if I have a good credit score but can only give 5% for the 2019 Corolla SE ? Is it possible to give 5% down?
I love the Corolla SE better
Can you do toyota highlander videos and how to remote start it
SE looks better IMO.
Just bought a 2020 Corolla SE. love it. Came with the all weather mats.
how do you like the 2.0L?
I just bough 2020 LE and I love it!!!!
Sonia Ortiz i also have the LE in black
@@JusTtheReal Me too, LE premium in black (which is SE interior, but LE outlook), and it is awesome.
@@sadiakhalil5771 yes i like that look mine is also a 2020
Me too, isn’t it great? I am in love 😀
It is a nice compact car. I had to rent one for 2 days. I liked it better than my 2012 Civic. Quieter ride.
This video was so helpful! I've been trying to figure out the differences between the two just from photos online. Definitely leaning towards the LE now!
Have had my LE for like 4 months now, 5k miles. Absolutely love it. Have never loved a car this much. Everything about it exceeds expectations. Constantly in disbelief that this wasn't a $25k car brand new. Can't wait to drive this for 7 more years but also looking forward to my next time purchasing a brand new Toyota because this experience has been so fantastic.
Why specifically do you love it so much? Fun & easy to drive? Also, how much did you pay for it?
I like how this guy is on all 4 fours showing me all the goodies lmao. Just got an LE and its pretty sweet!!
I’m glad that I saw this review since I’ve been thinking about getting either an LE or SE so this was very helpful to me.
Jeff you are great 👍 I just got my new 2020 Toyota Corolla LE 🎉🎉🎉🎉. I’m in love with it. Thanks for your videos, they helped a lot 👍👍👍👍👍
These comparison vids are really informative
Hey Jeff always check your video on the Toyota I'm thinking of leasing. You confirmed my choice of Corolla SE in the blue you used in the comparison. Thanks from California.
After watching your enthusiasm, I can't watch any other reviews, they've become
...boring!
Bought the SE it’s awesome
I got my Corolla SE. Very happy w/ it!
Big component difference: SE has the 2.0 engine with direct and multiport fuel injection, which has about 30 more hp. LE has the 1.8 liter that has soldiered on forever. SE has the new CVT with the real 1st gear, along with paddle shifters. LE has the same CVT that has been used since 2014. SE has the bigger 18 inch alloy wheels and tires. SE has better seats. That's the BIG stuff.
Se is very comfortable
@mmafan2223 Can one upgrade the LE tyre to an 18 inch tyre?
Really like the SE in the Celestite Gray, reminds me of the older Slate Metallic it replaced. Plan on getting one in January when the lease on my 2017 SE is up.
Thank you for explaining the difference between the SE vs LE. It will help in my decision.
We got the Se . Love it. Average 38 mpg just bopping around in combo driving 1/2 commute. Drives sporty but smooth.
Drove the SE today. Steering was great. A bit of road noise with the big rims.Quieter than the hatch with the same engine
Jeff I love your personality! I appreciate your videos!
This was very informative. Thank you!
just bought a white LE and have never loved anything more!
Miranda Diaz I got the Silver one 💕💕
Me too!
Just got a black one.
Miranda Diaz I love you.
Why you don't get the se ?
Moved out from Raleigh a few years ago, but would have definitely bought from you. Keep up the good work
I appreciate this video! As someone who just got a Toyota Corolla LE 2021 I was wondering if I should have gone for a higher trim! But it seems my choice was solid and well founded.
I purchased the 2020 SE. I absolutely love it
Just bought the LE. Have a 2017 RAV4 already. I was impressed that the LE had more features than the RAV. Looking forward to a long relationship with this baby...it’s no longer the Corolla from the 90’s when it looked like the little box we got our son in high school. Contemplated a Kia Optima Lx but I think that would have been a big mistake 😎👍🏾 By the way...I love your enthusiasm.
Good decision
I like the SE but the LE is better for everyday driving because I don’t have to worry about the Rims getting damaged. The LE is also a little cheaper. Both are great but the LE is the ultimate everyday car to get you from point A to Point B and C.
Just buy the tire and wheel package at the dealership. They will replace the wheels and tires due to potholes.
I love my SE had it for 2 years now, I’m a big guy and I love how much room I have in my car. Love the SE and Barcelona Red colorway makes it looks beautiful!!
Got an SE exactly like what you showed here and its amazing. The wheels look so cool!
Just bought the se same color! Love it !
Just bought my SE 3 days ago!!! SE all the way.
Just bought one for my wife today. Congrats.
@@Pabloperes675 just did the same... Wife loves it!!!
Just bought mine last week
what color did you get ?
@@threadhoney9445 white
I just bought my SE a week ago and it's the same color as you had on here and I love it..
Both are great cars, but I like gadgets. I went with the SE with BSM and sunroof. The ride is surprisingly great, despite the "sport" designation and 18" wheels. Drive it before you decide. I also preferred the much more modern engine, and better transmission.
I have one se , it's so nice
Got my se last friday lol :) Upgrade one :) love it !
I think I'm gonna go with the LE. It's a bit cheaper and has a tried and true 1.8L that I think will be more reliable. Just wish it came in manual.
Here in Northern Virginia, the cars at the Toyota dealers don't get the southeast distributor options, but the Toyota dealers do include options such as all-weather floor mats, cargo tray (trunk) and rear bumper protector which I have on my Corolla. The options included are listed on the sticker. I think you have to buy the phone & cable package at the dealer as it is not included
I really want one of these. Its astonishing that you can find them used with 50k+ miles for about the same or even 1k more than original retail.
Thanks for the effort
I just bought a LE yesterday I love that car it’s so comfortable and styling
Help me decide, how much do I want the new Dynamic Force engine? Debating stepping up to the SE from the L, was a bit bummed to learn that everything below the SE has the old 1.8L engine and no first launch gear etc etc that come with the new 2.
I prefer the SE model and was excited to take it for a drive, but I didn't bother. It was too difficult for me to get in and out, as the car was too low.
Bought an LE and it’s sick. I think the SE looks kinda weird. It’s a standard car that tried too hard to look aggressive. Kinda like trynna rock Skechers as Jordan’s
I just bought the SE same color blue. Great car I love it! The shift knob is rubber though.
Hey i bought the SE too, but I feel a shudder when it shifts from 1st to 2nd gear. Do you have that shudder?
I want the S or SE, I will own one such a great car. I actually got a chance to drive on for a day and my wife and I absolutely feel in love with it.. 😀
Picked my LE yesterday. Love it.
I did the same. not crazy about 2.0 engine i keep my cars 10-15 years.
I own both. The LE for our kid car, and the SE for my wife to use and keep clean.
Traded my 2020 LE for a 2021 SE! I’m in loooooove with the SE😍
I love u this video was amazing u are a star
I chose the SE in black. So much fun to drive in Sport Mode with paddle shifters.
Wish the bigger engine came in the LE. The only option I want from the SE.
That's the key diff, SE (newly) 2.0 engin not only got more power but better mileage(in addition to bigger/better 18" wheels/Michelin tires, etc. etc.), even SE cost at least $3.5K+ more than LE, we/my son bought a new SE weeks ago.
I got the se last month and I'm in love!!!
I have a 2019 corolla le and prefer the le looks over the se. I think the 2020 le is gorgeous !! I wish my 2019 had apple CarPlay tho :/ but I still love it tho
it's just the slight differences on the SE that just make the car soooo much cooler
just got the se in celestite yesterday!
No doubt the SE. Can we see a JBL video on the 2019 Camry vs 2020 Corolla? Hope you can do it. Thanks!
I'm glad you stated your height. My wife is 5'11" as is her sister. We three often go places together and I don't think this car will work out for us. I would get the SE trim if I were to buy a corolla.
I like the look of the LE, but the extras on the SE (alloy wheels, bigger engine, leather wrapped steering wheel, etc) make me like the SE more. I would go up to the XLE though if I wanted to spend a bit more.
Hi Jeff, is LED RDL (2 accents led J pattern strips) for Corolla LE supposed to turn ON? Thanks
Hi Jeff, is the 2021 Corolla SE drive experience (besides for speed/rpm) better than the 2021 Corolla LE ?
Great video
which one is more expensive? LE or SE? what is the difference with XLE and XSE?
Great review! What is a good price for the LE today?
Is black interior trim and not dual black/grey an option for the SE like XSE?
The XSE for me of course. Mark in Iowa.
Same here!
I like the SE but would buy the LE because of the wheels. I live in pothole country and if I had the SE I'd be buying a couple of wheels and tires a year and at their Toyota prices the SE will get old pretty quickly after the annoying inconvenience waiting to get towed and shelling out big time.
How you think SE and LE which one good
Nathaniel, I talked to a lot of SE owners and they don't replace tires that often. Furthermore, all you would have to do is replace the wheels and tires once and you're done.
Nathaniel, just buy the tire and wheel package at the dealership. They will replace damaged tires and wheels due to potholes. You can buy the package for around 400$ after negotiations.
If I could get the 2.0 L in the LE that would be great. Though they both look good. I guess my pick would be the SE.
We got the se in black today it’s fun to drive! And looks way way nicer in black
doesn't it always look dusty in black? how do you keep it clean? I agree that it looks best in black.
SE!!!! I'm 22 and I'm hoping I will be approved to get this as my first car
What had happened?
Jennifer what did you end up getting?
Hannalyn she ended up getting a 2002 ram and lifted it an extra 10 inches and put on 23inch tires
Enjoy it! Corolla forever!
Did the 2020 Corolla LE ever get an update for Android Auto?
Very informative, SE would be my choice.
I got the SE And LOVE it
Whats cool is they look almost the same as the Camry SE and LE, i had to look twice, very nice looking
Toyota jeff raleigh my favourite is se model good video salutations from belgium
I got the LE on Saturday
That SE is such a sexy car!
I test drove it today. The SE looks better but it’s quite uncomfortable. It vibrates too much not fit for long trips. The LE tires allow for a smoother ride, much more comfortable.
Glad those Leds are in a projector and not a reflector like the current corrolas. Hate being blinded by them every time I pass one
WeisHama Hama the current ones already are in a projector...
I like le but can you tell me if it can be with blond spot monitor
I love the LE I just bought one but it doesn’t have the Sirius XM app installed and when I turn my car on to Bluetooth the music fades in loud, the soft, then loud again as when I turn on anyone else having. Problem? #CorollaLE2020
I just traded my Nissan Sentra for the 2020 Corolla LE, and I couldn't be happier.
I've driven both, and the 2.0 in the SE is super fun. The 1.8 in LE is kinda boring, so I would vote for the SE. My question is: WHY DOESN'T TOYOTA OFFER THE SE AS A HYBRID??? It would be a for sure winner in my book. I'm sure the sporty wheels would decrease gas mileage a bit but who cares?? I think ppl want the best of all worlds. A SPORTY LOOKING HYBRID!! You can't even get a sunroof on the hybrid model. crap
Where does the front license plate go?
Jeff: Stop looking at your sister
Me: 🤣🤣😂😅🤣
The winner to me is the SE
I just got the 2020 LE last month & I love it 😩
Used or new?
Mautise Boswell new
Richard Favreau I live a pretty simple life so it’s gets me where I need to go. I’ve took it on two 4 hour road trips and I had no problems- each trip took 1 fill up there and back. I put about $12-$20 a week on gas. I love the size it fits me perfectly- excellent trunk space. Lighter seats stain a little too easily so I’d be mindful of that.
Richard Favreau yes it’s fast enough. Sometimes at red lights it feels like it’s hard to pick up speed when the light changes. That’s not every time though.
Does yours have the cvt transmission?
I have the SE with premium package. Love it
Please tell me, what are the additions on a Premium Package? Thanks!
how to change the temperature unit in driver settings toyota corolla 2020?
got le as secondary runner car without much research. was about to close the deal when I noticed on the actual walk around that it had hub caps, key start and no blind spot. those are a big no no for me and seemed like an ancient car. Dealer said it has upgrade package for about $1k more with all these things and more. definitely go for that if u r getting le.
In canada all those features are standard on LE for 2020 lol
Can you put same SE rims 18” on the LE?
Which engine is more reliable?
The SE is worth in extra investment and is much more enjoyable
Jeff: we are concerned about the cvt in the Corolla. How frequent are they having problems? This will be our first time driving a Toyota. Should we lease or purchase? We’d get a manual but no dealers in our area (Ontario, Canada) have them, unless they are the top sport trim ($$$). Thanks for your great Toyota reviews.
For a toyota you are better off purchasing or aka financing. With leasing you are restricted as to how much mileage you can put in a year and also at the end of the lease you need to return the vehicle.
Great car! I just bought the SE same color blue.
Hey i bought the SE too, but I feel the transmission shudder when it shifts from 1st to 2nd gear. Do you have that shudder?
Jeff, when are the RAV4 hybrids going to get to dealers?
I’m told end of March or early April but I would not even count on them being here in March. Plan on April or May. I will tell you as soon as that timeframe changes
I’m doing some SE cosmetic upgrades to my LE. But does the SE have a different suspension than the LE or is it just rims ?
Yes sport suspension
I love the SE face life, does anyone know if it's possible to put an SE front end on an LE?
Jeff, is it possible to get the SE with a moonroof but leave out the push-to- start? I would rather turn a key to start it
I think you have to get the push start on every trim except the L
Beautiful cars
I like the se thats why I bought se on Thursday I love 💘 it.
Can the SE model survive long car rides?
I have purchased a car two year ago. So I’m waiting till the loans pays off. Once it does I’ll want to see it Toyota did a new redesign to the Corolla
A special like for his effort
