What's your tripod of choice???
I like to carry either a full tripod (it's heavy but it's the most reliable) or a Switchpod (it's sturdier than the Joby.)

Using the Manfrotto Pixi at the moment. Solid and reliable. Not much of an outdoorsy person so simple tripod doesn't the job for me in the studio. Great video mate. Good to see a fellow creator from the UK growing and doing their thing. Keep smashing it mate

For my type of use MantisPod PRO has been good so far :)
quick pace is nice, looks so professional. As for the tripod, I`m gonna look at them now and see which one fits my budget. it was a great video! Keep them coming!

I really love the Podzilla! Since getting them, I rarely pull out my OG gorillapod, and almost always use the podzilla instead. The only thing I don't like is how the legs are connected to the ballhead. I wish that area had more flexibility.

I personally have the Joby 5K, I got it mostly because of the quick release plate, so I could switch to my bigger tripod with little hassle. I also have a small 1K one, which is now a mic stand :p
Also, I just want to say, I really like the image and grading on your videos. Are you using a promist filter or is it just the grading? I really like the halation and how the image is not overly sharp.

Ah thank you. Yeh it’s just the grade. I also set my camera sharpness lower too. I have some vintage LUTs on my website for that “film” type look.

I've had Joby, Rhodesy and Ulanzi octopus tripods. They legs on all of them broke or split. Finally, I got a Vosscoss VC-300 which has the best legs. One piece rubberised leg with very durable joints attached under the ball & socket joint. Phone and tablets fit the mount. £15.00 on Amazon. Never had any problems with it. Colin, London.

what's the arca-swiss plate adapter you are using on the podzilla? are the podzilla legs still holding up?
Hoover pipe works pretty damn good!! I love how practical the new one is. The old one, yeah i've had so many problems with mine. Nearly had my Sony hit the deck last week from a branch, meh it's insured. BUT! Why can't they do the new version in black, I think a black hoover pipe looks much more 2022 than 1999. Plus, I agree with you on the ball head situation. I actually take my ball head completely off some times to attach a cold shoe mount and then add a speed light to it. Yeah you can add the plate to the speed light etc but... Perhaps I don't want to? Am I being picky? Great video!

Hi Sam. I'm stuck between the Podzilla and a Manfrotto offering. The thing that might sway my purchase is regards manufacturing. Is Joby made in China or elsewhere (trying to avoid China products until the close the concentration camps abusing the Uighers). Thanks in advance and an excellent review...
