Mangrove Action Project is an international nonprofit organization working to protect and restore the world’s mangrove forests.
We are optimistic because mangrove forests are one of our planet’s most powerful tools against climate breakdown. From protecting coastal communities and enhancing biodiversity to reducing global rising temperatures, they are critical to our future. We are amplifying efforts to work with amazing individuals, schools, communities, organisations, governments, and countries not only to conserve existing mangrove forests, but also to restore what has been lost. Through our education and training programs, we focus on how to successfully restore degraded mangrove ecosystems whilst encouraging the younger generations and communities to take an active interest in their local mangroves.
