    Thanks for the video! Jba headers seem like the best option.

      Just seen your update video- jba does not look like the best option.

      Lol. Yea unfortunately it looks like if you plan on going through the trouble of putting headers on. Go full length and very top of the line.

      @@FullSpeedImpulse sounds like if you reuse your old manifolds and sand them flat with a long belt sander and use the arp bolts is the best option

      @@FullSpeedImpulse i have about 45k and a few times at cold startup i have heard a tick that lasts for 2 or 3 seconds. Just trying to figure out if i try to do something now or wait it out

    Heat the bolts, but let them cool before trying to loosen, the expansion and contraction is what breaks the bond

    I’m thinking I’ll have to fill my oxygen and acetalyn tanks and fire my tourches up! Should get them flowing real quick and real high!

      Lol. Ooo yeaa!!! If you go under your truck look where your two exhaust pipes connect after the cats. The one on the passenger side it’s extremely smushed in. Kinda crazy my opinion. I have the stock manifolds but they sell a system for under 300 that makes it true duals I might get after eventually.

    On my 2011 1500 4.7 my driver side bolt just broke and makes the ticking exhaust sound but when you drive it for a little bit it stops leaking so my guess is the manifold is warped when it heats up it expands and seals the leak I'm just hopin since it was the lower end bolt that is holding the heat shield near the collector that it's not warped or I am making a trip to the machine shop to get them surfaced but thank God the bolt broke at the head so it should come out with vice grips . I'm using fel pro gaskets . and using dorman bolts they are stronger then stock and I'm gonna do both sides just to be safe . I also talk to the parts guy at ram about the bolts asked him if they have updated bolts he said they are the same bolt that our on our rams now . In my opinion this is so widespread it should be done under warranty but no they just want to charge about 400 bucks for both gaskets and all the bolts which boils done to about 8 bucks a bolt to replace there major mistake .

    Unless you're running open headers with the stock exhaust system it's not going to sound any different than what it did before

    • @FullSpeedImpulse
      @FullSpeedImpulse  Před 4 měsíci

      If I do headers again it will be long tube with a true dual exhaust system. I plan on doing comp cam lifters and cam in the winter time. So this would be the perfect time to tackle this since the manifolds would have to come off anyways.

    Sounds really Good, the tick makes it sound better. Is this the worst problem with this hemi?

    • @FullSpeedImpulse
      @FullSpeedImpulse  Před rokem +2

      Well you have two hemi ticks. First one is when your manifold bolt breaks. The second one is when you lifter starts to eat away at your camshaft😬 BUT… The good news to this is if you put a tow comps cam in your truck with some good lifters you will make some pretty good horsepower gains. Specially if you do long tube headers and get rid of the crummy y pipe design. But besides that they are solid trucks overall 😂.

      Radar Renegade tires. It's my 2nd set. I have a couple of videos on them. They perform just as well if not better then your name brand mud tires. Not that noisy for a mud terrain but it is still a mud tire keep in mind.

    • @FullSpeedImpulse
      @FullSpeedImpulse  Před rokem

      If you go on Amazon and type in the year of your truck you will find the gaskets on there. ARP I purchased those through Jegs or summit. There will be two different kinds whether your doing headers or stock manifolds
