It is reasonable price around 150 or 200 thousand ruphias. Without breakfast and only small room, tv, and small bathroom with shower. If you want the cheaper one you can purchase capsul hotel. But i guarantee almost jakartan hotels are clean...i ever tried the budget hotels in Yogya, Bandung, Malang, or Semarang...they are clean.

Stroll around the markets and head for the rooftop of Tanah Abang market. Pay a little money to the security guard and go on the very top rooftop for some stunning views of Jakarta. Then, later head behind the Tanah Abang market and go through all the tiny alley ways where so many communities reside toward the railway tracks. See the diversity of this city just a few mins from the center of the CBD of Jakarta. This would make a far more compelling vlog.

Makasih Banyak Alexander - I had to watch the VDO 2x before I got the name of the place but I found it. I’ll be in JKT in a few months and this place looks perfect for recovering from jet lag after that flight that takes over 26+ hours - you must certainly know that drill… I’m coming from Boston to CGK - the distance is so far it doesn’t matter whether one travels east or west - it’s the same distance either direction. Been watching several of your vids about JKT life. Looks intense… but I’ve lived in Manhattan so I think I can adjust. I’m just dreading that long long flight!

Great option for a single traveler or members of the back packer crowd. While inexpensive, it's not a hole. Heck, even a family of 4 can stay, each person gets their own "room" and it's still less than 1/2 the price of a US hotel along an interstate for one room. Thanks for showing us this option. I trust you still kept the AirBnB when you stayed there as you only had a back pack. Great review and video, the bell ding on the sun suddenly showing up on the buildings was a nice touch!

tbh for me this hotel is pretty cool, since i am neither big nor tall, it'll be perfect for a single room. I mean $11 (+ - Rp. 160.000,00) for the facility and the cleanliness it quite worth the price in my opinion, not to mention it has AC and wifi . Not too cramp like capsule hotel, not too exspensive for a single room, it is nice, especially if you want a room for a day that has good facility and a quite cheap price point. it is such experience. although we can agree that the view isn't the best.
