FYI, you must bring the STNK every time you go out. It is important bcz the police always ask you about ur STNK after they ask you about your drive license card but you put it in your wallet or something like that. And the manual book of your vehicle (BPKB) just keep it save in your home. It most important, you dont even bring it out from your room.

    • @kronigen

guess it's the same as in the u.s. cops will ask you for your license and the registration of your vehicle

Your visit to Indonesia will be complete if you have visited Raja Ampat, the transportation is expensive but if you are with a group of about 10-14 people, it will be cheap. There are direct flights from Surabaya to Sorong, from Sorong to Raja Ampat by boat, in Raja Ampat there are 4 very beautiful locations, like a slice of heaven on earth.

as a molluccan resident, u can just flyn to ambon and using rented car to the Ora Beach, and well u just use public fery to the Raja Ampat. from my place to Raja Ampat it only cost like 80K-120K and overnight in the sea. so yeah, if u r on thight budget, it definitely works.

You can buy a mobike in Indonesia without a local as long as you have KITAS. If you really have kitas, you should have gotten NPWP, which is your tax number which gives you the ability to purchase a car or bike without a local.

it's easier for you to buy used motorcycle, because the sellers don't give a shit whether you're Indonesian / foreigner and the price also could be cheaper, usually a used motorcycle after 1 year the price will drop up to 25% even with pretty good condition

Bali is nice, but there are troublemakers. I was peacefully shopping in a supermarket when 4 security "thugs" attacked me simply b/c I pulled down my mask to eat free fruit samples. I think it was partly a hate crime against foreigners b/c it made no sense. Taken to hospital. True story. Stay safe. czcams.com/video/xHUewYaGuh0/video.html

I love the NMax great bike what I always get always wanted to buy one for there I have heaps of friends can do it with. Also, can you do a video on a traditional Balinese place to stay in , all bamboo built usually up around Ubud, the bathrooms are great , I call them out door orgy bathrooms they normally have walls no roof and gardens in them sometimes water features. I'd much prefer that type of place to stay in rather than a western villa. Even nice homestays for say $100 per month are better usually just a room but your normally with a Balinese family it's great.

Even though its her name. You can save the ownership book from her so she cannot sell the bike... But you need her every year to pay the motorbike tax, remember every year, only with her KTP you can pay tax.

If you have a Kitas or Kitap, you can buy a motorcycle under your name, no need to give it to any local 😉

Even kitap holder still cannot buy motorcycle, car properties in indonesia. If someone says you can buy those things using kitas and kitap, he or she is a liar. Kitap doesnt mean you are an indonesian citizen. Kitap is only a permanent/“no need to extend”permit for you to go out and in to indonesia. Kitap can only be acquired if you are married to an indonesian.

@@Buledoyanmotor do you have any proof that kitas and kitap holder can buy a motorcycle or a car or a house in indonesia? Then how to pay STNK every year (motorcycle or car tax registration) without KTP (indonesian Id card)? And to buy a house in indonesia you must have a NPWP (personal tax id). And how to get a NPWP without a KTP? Ya, i know foreigner with kitas and kitap are allowed to buy apartments, but not landed houses or lands. Mann, you are nonsense!! You must be borrowing your indonesian girlfriend’s KTP or your indonesian friend’s KTP. Or you are already naturalized became an indonesian citizen (which is impossible unless you are a soccer player) and got yourself a KTP? But indonesia doesnt recognize dual citizenship,so you need to give up your previous citizenship. Bottom line, i think you are trying to misleading other bule and that ain’t cool.

I've been living in Indonesia for more than 15 years, and I had multiple motorcycles, about properties, we can also buy properties under our names directly under Hak Pakai, and Hak Guna Bangunan, please get informed, it's not nice to be treated as liar.
I also have Indonesian driving license for 5 years, just like Indonesian citizens.
