I believe Sara is afraid of love. I don’t think it was from any of her past intimate relationships but just how much pain she went through with the passing of her father. Sara has pure of heart and just wants to protect it. But with that comes the strong personality she portrays to the public, which can push away a lot of guys who are a well fit. Strong personality can be good for income/business but no necessarily a personality trait you want in a women who is so young, in my opinion.

I think the issue is that Brad's ready for sexual stage of their relationship but Sara wants to be first assured that they're actually going to get married, as you can read between the lines of what they're saying and their back and forth in these later episodes. So he's avoiding situations that would cause complications aka staying in his room alone with Sara 😂 but I think they'll eventually going to figure it out
