Great job!
Never had a vehicle Rust out here in the Rust belt , always have put Trans ATF or Mineral oil in all the Body Seams and ATF mixed with Wax on the under side . I have Cars from the 70’ 80’s still with no Rust.I think if you use these Replacements, maybe coat with Blaster Surface Shield beneath them to prevent further Rot.
That looks awesome ill b doing my f 150 this summer....thanks.
Great informative video! Thanks!
Summer better come early cause I’m ready to work to get this on my single cab
Looks good, great alternative to welding the metal panels in, I'll be doing mine, thanks!
Just found your channel, very impressed with the thoroughness of the instructions and explanation, as well as showing the entire install process. Liked and subbed for future videos.
Thanks!! I really try to show as much as possible because I know that’s what I look for when watching these types of videos! Really appreciate it!!
Awesome vid! Thanks so much!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching!!!
Looks much better. Def would add more rivets to tamp the ripples down. Could also use white touch-up paint on the rivet heads, but I don't know how well that would adhere over time.
I was hoping after being on the truck for a min they would kind of start forming themselves, they did a little bit, but yea I’ll need to install a couple more rivets lol
Looks good, but super expensive.
💯🔥🔥
rotting rocker panels seem to be a free factory option in the late 90's /early 2000's, my 99 f250 looks the same way
Right! I guess whoever designed them didn’t think about drainage for trapped moisture lol
Not here in CA lol
@@spin_tires_on_pavement-s.t5760 I'll trade rust and salt on the road for Newsom and Nazi Peelousy everyday of the week LOL
😂 no doubt we are suffering over here cause of dimwits like them but there’s still a strong gop here but your right we are getting fuked in the ass lol
Can i install these with some of the Owen's branded running boards?
If your inner rockers are still solid I would say it’s probably fine but these covers really don’t provide any support they just hide the rust.
how did the ripples do with time ?
They’ve gotten a little bit better but they’re still there I’m thinking I’m gonna have to do a couple more rivets
you should have painted it with phosphoric acid to kill the rust, you probably could still cover the rust you can get to
Skyco OSPHO Surface Prep at Ace Hardware
Yea I’m debating on getting some of that stuff with the straw attachment so I can get a little bit of the hard to reach spots
You must live in a state that does not require annual safety inspections. I live in Atlantic Canada and our vehicles are required to be inspected every two years and if your rocker panels are as bad as yours it would never pass inspection. It would not matter if you covered it with plastic or any PVC product. Would you agree that that rocker panels must be structurally sound to be safe and road worthy?
I would say no. As long as the body mount points are still good as well as the frame (which mine are) it’s perfectly safe and road worthy.
Good vídeo.thanks
Waste of money will just cause rust to hasten
They look great. I just really don't like the price!!
They aren’t the cheapest covers out there but I genuinely think they’re the best!
@@ZPTVChannel Yea I'm inclined to agree with you there. Wish I could find them cheaper!!
Wish I could Afford them, $450.00 is a Bit Much on a Fixed Income.
$460 just for the rocker pieces? Yeah, no thanks. I'll just install metal slipons for $50 apiece.
Saves about $2,500 a body shop would charge to fix both sides!
@@ZPTVChannel or do it myself like you did for $50
Where can you find metal slip ons for 50$?

Video says fixing my rust.... Also says bye bye rust. You didn't get rid of any rust... And you didn't fix anything. You put a piece of duct tape over a bullet wound and called it healed. Honestly you should have titled your video " how to cover up that unsightly rocker rust".. it would have been more truthful.
Your not stopping the rust your just covering it up. No good
Expensive garbage..
