Heap of $hit - just test drove one 3 days earlier with money in pocket - and concerned about turbo lag (having owned turbo diesels before). This is an Engineering disaster - EEEEEASY 1.5 seconds turbo lag in normal drive till it decides to go mental. Of course I could artificially hold revs up (so turbo's get spinning) before taking off.... but this car was way worse than ANY turbo diesel I have EVER driven in normal drive mode- and that includes trucks. Thank you porsche for getting rid of it and at least hiding your engineering embarrassment. Anyone out there wanting to spend money on this junk, try the audi SQ7 - sequential turbo's (smaller one kicks in earlier) AND ELECTRIC supercharger for wayyyy down low instant boost from idle.... end result is a diesel that is powerful up front.... Porsche designers - please take note... Oh, by the way, I'm an engineer. PS tester - I can see that you got it spinning up first..... I dare you to show us this pile of junk WITHOUT any launch control - in drive normally and floor it.....

Anthony Spanjich it doesn’t even have launch control, you clearly have no idea what you’re talking about.

You don’t have to wait for the turbos to spool at high rpms because it as 850nm of torque at 2500 rpm

The Audi sq7 would die in a race against the cayenne. The porsche is better in every single way!

the sq7 has a lot more bhp but its essentially the same engine i believe? so its down to weight i would think

turbo lag on a 4.2 TDi Car
You don’t really know anything about turbos.....
