What do you think of small children getting bunnies? Comment below!
I think it’s a terrible idea, even if the child can be trusted they will probably grow out of the bunny and want a dog or something, and the bunny will just get dumped
Edit: it’s only a good idea if they are willing to take care of a bunny
I think if the kid knows the care and how to properly handle them. They can have one.
I cringe at the thought.
I think there should be a certain age for a kid to own a rabbit and I think it’s from high school age, but I think that children will mistreat that rabbit and ignore it and not feed it water because they’re busy doing kids stuff and not taking care of the rabbit I personally think that we should go to her page and talk to her about rescues and do more research as a bunny owners. We should reach out and talk to Savannah about it and try to help and educate them on how to own a bunny and rabbits and what to do and not what to do.
NO NO NO NO NO!!!!!
I'm not even surprised AT ALLL.. So sad. This family has been under the gun for a lot of controversy, rightfully so. It's 2024.. Why are people still using bunnies for their easter festivities? Makes me so upset. They have a huge audience too. THANK YOU for bringing this to light.
It's 2024, why are people even plastering their kids all over the Internet when we know for a fact it's not safe....family vloggers make the worst decisions
Yes, they are so ignorant. And there is no excuse. The data is there in the form of internet, books, You Tube (this channel!).
@TealleMadelaine I agree that little children shouldn't have Bunnies
I agree that little Children shouldn't have baby Bunnies
I do agree that little children shouldn't have baby Bunnies as Pets
This is insane how people still don’t know anything about bunnies after this woman has dedicated her life to saving bunnies, so I just want that to sink in
I cant believe how oblivious people can be about animal care. It's not just something to fiddle around with. It's a 10 year dedication to a *living* creature. I'm just really glad Lorelei has been spreading word for around 7-8 years now
More like 10 years?
Fr! There needs to be an App where you can have a bunny come over for a few hours for a decent price, and with it's owner supervising. Like a visit/play date. It'd stop a lot of parents from buying their kids bunnies for Easter and the bunny being neglected within 2 or 3 months. Just spit balling here.
I just gave you an extra like. I love your comment.
@@redwing8128 Thank you lol. I take rabbits very seriously and will defend them at all costs!!! 💖
@lilliemoonblast5333 you have that right. Our Bun Bunz passed away about 4 years ago now. We sure miss her. You have a great night
I want to say The Lebrant family has had a trend of getting animals and yet not giving them the proper care. I am glad for people like you who want to inform people who are uneducated and I hope all CZcamsrs and family’s can learn from this!
According to Discovery News, since ancient times, eggs and rabbits have been a symbol of fertility, while spring has been a symbol of rebirth. So, even though rabbits don't lay eggs, the association of these symbols was almost natural. So its basically, humans are supposed to be honor fertility, not bunnies. Also, it's a pagan holiday.
Yeah, and people turned it into a dead guy coming back to life because a highly allegorical book said so. Humans will always take things at face value, LOL.
Well I think no one should get bunnies during Easter, but I am a Christian and celebrate Easter but not the bunny side.
@@traceysimmons4913 have no idea how that came about
Parents better be on top of bunny care if there are children in the home.
This is real I’m a young kid but I potty trained my own bunny and he freeroams in my room idk why people think bunnies are toys for Easter this is a cruel world for all of these Easter bunnies treated as toys for entertainment
Cookie, when it comes to animals, you're smarter than so many adults!
Me to! I am 10 and I have a bunny named Muffin, Right now he is in a 4 x 2 Nic grid cage pen thingy it’s a big 2 story cage that dose have Nic grids on the top because my cat used to have access to my bunny but she doesn’t anymore but when she did I didn’t want her to be able to touch him, I wanted a ex pen but it just didn’t work for my living situation, anyways he is gonna be free roamed in my room once he is fully litter trained, and personally, I think I am a good bunmom, he always has alfalfa hay (as he is under 6 months), he gets 1/4 cup of young rabbit oxbow pellets every morning and half of a oxbow vitamin C tab, he only gets ONE Full oxbow Small rewards treat a day, I typically will break those into smaller pieces so I can use them more wisely then just giving the full treat, he gets a good amount of free roam time in my bedroom I’m not sure about the exact amount cuz it differs from day to day, he has 2 available hides in his cage but he prefers just a hidden corner, he also has a available hide in my bedroom for when he is hopping around, I clean his litter box either every other day or every day I’m still figuring out what routine works for us, and he has many available chews, sometimes I make some for him, but I also but I also buy some, he is a little skittish but once he gets to know you he opens up more,so really, I think it depends about the age, and how serious the child is about the rabbit, like are they gonna take their time to clean the rabbits space, or clean the litter box, or litter train them, or even just provide daily social interaction with the bunny without terrifying it, thanks for reading! Have a great Rest of your Day and Stay Hoppy!
@@shimmerwithsummer I am eleven so we are similar ages!
@@OlafPijl thank you!
@@Cookiethebun cool!!
My bun was a dumped Easter bunny. I always give her a lot of treats to find on Easter to make up for them dumping her. She was at the shelter nearly 2 years before I adopted her, which was nearly her whole life at that time. She has such a great personality, and she's an excellent companion. I feel lucky to have her, but that other family really missed out. That's why I feel all the more upset about people getting bunnies for Easter. You want an Easter bunny? Buy a plushie.
Bunnies are such delicate animals 🥺
This makes me so annoyed and angry that there are people out there who never do their research. Small kids are not fit for bunnies, bunnies are not starter pets. DO YOUR RESEARCH!!
There’s no such thing as a “starter pet”. Unless it’s a Tamagotchi or something like that.
@@princesspikachu3915 exactly. All animals are a lot of work to take care of
Mmm, a starter pet would be something like mealworms or another easy to keep insect lol
Yes. Rabbits are more fragile than cats and dogs.
100%.
Has anyone on here heard about the channel called the pig room? This is a much see. This man was pretty much associated with his guinea pigs but he has expanded into rabbits. He is the most compassionate man I have ever seen and is to be commented for his efforts in the Bunny community. This is a must see channel.
Yh
I watch him also.
Omg yes I was watching his video from when he got a bunny and he pretended to have a small cage 🤣🤣🤣 I was completely fooled
@@cozettelaila I saw that also. I have two free roaming and couldn't imagine keeping them in cages.
@@LisaSmith3663 yes it certainly gave me a good scare
Lorelei you should reach out to them and set up a rabbit room for them.
This story is sickening. I absolutely hate the way rabbits are treated around Easter. Rabbits are intelligent animals with needs and feelings, not a cute toy to buy your kid who isn't even old enough to understand how to respect an animal's boundaries. Ugh, I hate people so much sometimes...
I do have to split with Lorelei on entirely ignoring Easter in regards to rabbits. I've had rabbits for around 13 years and I love them so much. I like to spoil them a bit on Easter to kind of celebrate that they're here with me living a good life. I wish all bunnies were given a chance at the kind of life my bunnies or Lennon or Cinnabun live...
Why doesn’t this girl have 1 million. She is such a inspiration!
💯
Nahhh why doesn’t she have 10 million subs
Not enough bunny people
I certainly took good care of my bunny. I cleaned her hutch every week, fed her every day, snuggled up to her in my bed all the time, took her to the vets for her jabs every year. Gave her fresh hey to eat, and played with her almost daily for hours at a time. She wasn't just a pet, she was my best friend. She only died because she got bunny cancer, but we were there for her until her dying hours. I loved my little dwarf lop, she was so cute and fluffy and her fur was soft and clean!!!!
Sorry you lost her. It really sucks losing a beloved friend.
@@rf159a It's ok, when she died I could feel it. I know she went to a better place, a place of peace and happiness. I just know. I came home from school and I already knew she had died, the thing is, she would not want me to be sad. I didn't cry, I just quietly accepted she was gone, gone to a better place.
If you mean as a kid, then you're an exception to the rule, not the standard. Also bunnies do not belong in cages or hutches.
I really don’t see the problem with hutches if you leave the door open the whole time. You can pin it back or even remove it completely . It’s like a little house for them to have their own space privacy they love to hide sometimes
@@littlekitsune1 No worries man, she used to be let out her cage in summer to run around the garden and play. I also used to take her into the house and play with her for hours every day almost. In the colder months she went in the green house, but even then I went out to bring her in and play with her. I used to hand feed her dandelions too. Every morning I would get up and feed her. sometime she would spend most of the day in my arms having me carry her around where ever I went. She only really was in her hutch in the late of the night. When she was in the garden she would spend 4 or 5 hours playing there. I used to hand feed her sweat treats and vegetables. she sometimes would sleep with me in my bed when I was a teen. When we were away we have my sisters friends look after them, they would play with her too. I think she was a bit too busy to be board or depressed, I literally played with her so often!!!!
It's always a good idea to do a lot of research on how to look after bunnies or any pets, with the rest of your family together, "before" getting a pet. That's what we did. Parents are better to be on top and be the main care givers. Children can learn but they need to have right and enough information provided to them from parents.
I wish bunny adoption and foster agencies would put a freeze on any adoptions around the Easter season.
Oh and ban all pet specific breeders.
Many reputable breeders in my area will not sell “Easter” bunnies.
We do! The pet stores are the ones that need to
Ours do. No bunnies around easter, no black cats around halloween.
@@josephwisniewski3673 That’s so comforting on both fronts! I hope more shelters follow that example!
@@hannahl6263 That gives me hope for the bunnies! Hopefully more shelter will follow y’all’s example!
I went through basic rules with kids when we decided to have a baby bunny at home. We learned together how to take care of bunny and respect bunny's nature. By now, the bunny is almost 4 years old and happily hops in our living room. We all wish there could at least another 4 years for her to be with us. Little kids can understand and follow rules. And yes, I repeated soooo many times. Btw I consider that's also a good lesson for kids: true love comes with respect and understanding.
Bunnies are my kids😊😊😊😊😊 no screaming, no problems , just cuties ❤❤❤❤
I love Lennon and Lorelei ❤❤😊😊😊 you guys are soooo amazing and I appreciate on how much info you provide for all of us. Ever since I ran into your channel I do whatever I can to help bunnies around especially giving donations to shelters.
I've been dreaming of having a bunny for many many years. Initially, I also wasn't aware that such HUGE problem with bunnies being bought for Easter and then getting dumped existed. Thanks to you and the YT community I became aware of the issues and haven't followed any breeder's account since then. I'm picking up two bunny brothers next week from a shelter 🤗
They ask followers rather than Google to get the response, that’s how they make money it’s that simple
I purchased the hop litter box and have been using it for about three weeks and it has literally changed my life! It makes for such a quick cleanup and resupply. I take the top off, put a garbage liner on the pan then a paper bag or a newspaper, and then the lavender bedding from a small pet select. I only have to put it really on the 3/4 of the pan because the hay part takes up the other side. Also, I have found that one of my rabbits likes to jump on top of the litter box and eat the hay from the top! I have three bunnies free roam so They can literally all three be eating hay at the same time two in the litter box and one on top. It’s harmonious!!! My only suggestion would be that the panel on the top that pops off for access clip in a little tighter. Especially because my one von likes to jump up on there it’s not as a secure fit as I think it could be, other than that, it’s been an absolute dream! I can’t believe I spent that much on a litter box and having had it now I can’t believe I wouldn’t.
We love that you love it!
Shame on the people or person who gave her information. They also chose a hard breed of bunnies to buy. Holland Lops are cute, but they have a lot of health issues... Thank you for calling out these people. I have a student who adopted two bonded bunnies from a rabbit shelter. I have given her advice on how to take care of the bunnies. She is excited to begin her bun mom journey! I also showed her your channel and some books on rabbit information. I love to pass along the correct information to make the bunnies happy and healthy! It's all thanks to you Lorelei thank you! ❤
People like them have so much power. I really hope they do their research and can help spread the word about proper rabbit care
I wish everyone cared for their rabbits as much as you do for Lennon ❤
A bunny is for life not just for Easter I had two but sadly my male passed away a couple of years back still miss him everyday and so dose his sister
I just can’t believe it Everleigh ( the oldest kid) is older than me (she is 12) and when I first adopted my bunnies I was 7 and I watched/ did my research for 6 months before convincing and putting on a slide show for my parents. In fact in an interview we did with the adoption centre , the questions were mostly answered by me. I really hope that these bunnies are at least brought to a rescue instead of releasing the bunnies in the wild.
I really hope knowing the right way to take care of a bunny becomes common knowledge just like for dogs and cats. Hopefully that family learns the right way to take care of them or someone reaches out to them. With that big of a channel, they'd be great influencers on the right way to take care of them. I hope all of the bunnies will be okay this Easter.
TY FOR POSTING!!! so happy!! I got my bunny the other day, and she has a giant x pen that takes up the whole room!! She is already vaccinated, spayed, and micro chipped! She is a lion head and is super fluffy all over her body.
I predict - and I pray that I am wrong - these bunnies (who look full grown to me) will live in a cute little "bunny hutch", most likely outside, and once the "new" wears off this busy family will all but forget about their sweet rabbits. They might even forget to feed and provide water for them (praying that does not happen). Lorelei, it would be fantastic if the LaBrant family would invite you to come to their home and teach them proper bunny care and how to give those buns their best lives! 🐰💕🐰
I’d like to see you go rescue the bunnies - they’ll not take real advice to heart.
I lost my beautiful bunny last month. He was six and had a lovely life and got taken proper care of him. It’s like what they say about dogs and how they are for life not for Christmas, well… bunnies are for life too, NOT for Easter. I rlly hope they get taken care of properly and they both lead a great life x
That's why my rabbit rescue group I help with pauses adoptions around Easter. Any kind of pet shouldn't be a spontaneous thing. =(
I’m Jewish, so no Easter celebration here lol, although I do like the cute Bunny decor that comes out each spring! Nope, I don’t think kids and bunnies mix
I think kids could work with bunnies ! However, absolutely not as owners, let alone sole owners. It’s all about the parents having to take responsibility for the bunnies AND the kids when they’re interacting with the bunnies.
@@atodeblue agreed!
Hi Lorelei, I hope you read this! I just wanted to say you were the reason I wanted to get rescue bunnies, and at first after doing lots of research and watching your videos I explained how they need to live indoor but sadly because of my two large dogs they had to live outside in a hutch and a play pen. Now after a lot of help and teaching my parents why, I have 2 happy, healthy rescue bunnies that live free roam in a bunny proofed house! Thank you so much and you are amazing 🤩 I watch you videos all the time and your changing people views on rabbits. Thank you so much x💕💕🐰
@Lenonthebunny Help me stress the need for advocating for not breeding your bunnies. This story is sad but probability a reality more often than we think. We got a 1 year old bunny less than 2 weeks ago, as she was being rehomed (but came from a pet store). A week in our care, she gave birth and we had no idea she was pregnant. She had 6 babies and the last one passed away today. The mom seemed inexperienced and no matter how hard we tried, we lost them all. This could have been avoided if people knew what they were getting into. I am so sad and pissed off.
I have 2 indoor free roaming male rabbits the oldest is 10 and a half. I rescued him when he was 2. He was being kept in a small metal cage and his owners had lost interest in him and gotten a kitten instead. It was so sad but he's been living his best life with me and I love him to the moon and back.
Plum Thee Bunny is a Holland Lop. We got her from the Michigan Humane Society. That was a year before we had a Holland dumping incident in the area which was so massive all four MHS shelters and two independent shelters all had tons of Hollands.
As influencers, it’s my personal opinion that it’s the family’s responsibility to do research on how to ethically acquire a pet (any pet), as well as how to properly care for the pet. It’s obvious they have not done this. Savanna would have to be living under a rock to not know this these days. Shameful. Maybe with enough pressure from social media they’ll straighten up. Maybe we all tag these ppl in this video. I don’t have high hopes either. Thank you for making this video.
This is so sad. We already know what is going to happen to these poor bunnies. I remember when I rescued my baby, I did so much research, and bunny proofed our home before picking her up. Took her to the bed within a week and got her spayed right away. Hope this family is getting advice from all of their followers and educate them of what it means to own a bunny. Like you said... this is a 10-12 year commitment. Thank you for creating this video and bringing light to this.
If people want something to play with and throw away, they can just get a little plush bunny.
Good idea. I’m looking at the bunny plush I bought myself last easter right now. I am not in a position where I could house a live bunny. But there are wild rabbits in my area, so I get to see bunnies hopping around fairly regularly. They’re the best.
You are so gracious.
What's really sad, is the more information is available to us on so many forums, that we as a society asked for and created, the less people listen to or read the information that is out there to help them make genuine and sound decisions. Especially when it comes
to having a rabbit join the family. I hope they hear you and others and do their research for the sake of these bunnies who's fate is sadly unknown right now. There is so much good information on rabbit care and responsible adoption that it is unacceptable for anyone to just wake up one day and say hey I think I'll get a bunny and if it doesn't work out, meh, I'll get rid of it. I have adopted bunnies for 26 years now. I have had a total of 6 now (down to 1 as of the passing of my 10 1/2 year old in October). But every one has taught me so much. They're all different. I've had 2 single bunnies. I had a trio where I went to adopt one but he had two brothers and I didn't have the heart to separate them. They've all passed and the oldest was 13. They had semi annual vet visits. I took care of them when their back legs no longer worked. One went blind but he adapted so well and still ran through the house and came out to the living room for his evening pets. Bunnies require commitment. Humans are so dedicated to their own self care (well most) and we all need to extend that care to our furbabies. Forever.
Thank you for allowing me the long comment. Cheers and love to all the amazing bunny moms and dads. ❤
Always the labrant fam bro
Yeah
I was at the Petstore today bc I needed to get my rabbits more toys and food and I couldn’t believe how much bunnies there were for Easter. It was heartbreaking 😢. People don’t want to have a whole time commitment and once people realize how much work they are, people prob going to dump them I felt so bad. I just wanted to take them all and save them 😔😔😔
I agree , but I can't keep watching the upsetting videos. I cry too much😢
I think you are 100% right about everything you said. And the most important take away is that we don't want the LaBrant Family to spread more incorrect and harmful information about bunnies, which would perpetuate neglect and harm; and increase the amount of homeless rabbits.
There were some bunnies dumped on the street by where my dad worked and me and my sister wanted to adopt them. So my mom had us do a lot of research and write whole paper before we adopted them. I’ve watched your videos ever since.
I got my bunny from a neighbor who had 8 bunnies and had to move to a small camper. Hunny Bunny was around 2 years old and was allowed to run around and chew on furniture and baseboards and I kept her in a cage at first because she was scared. As we developed a relationship I was able to potty pad train her and give her a variety of healthy food and treats and all is well. I am 71yo and I have had her for 3 years now. I would NOT recommend that young children have a rabbit as a pet.
1. They're a lot of work.
2. They require a regular routine and
3. They're fragile animals ❤ I love my baby so much and she is a very good companion for me. She doesn't bark and I don't have to take her for walks or let her outside to go potty. ❤😊❤
I have a holland lop, and I know I will definitely adopt another one from my local shelter after u said something! Thanks for all the great bun bun info! ❤
Easter isn't even supposed to be about bunnies. It's about the resurrection of Jesus Christ ♥ And that is why I celebrate and acknowledge Easter
yay someone else who is Christian!
Same my friend❤ also this holiday even has interesting pagan roots not just this bunny related stuff
She is so beautiful! And Lennon is so cute!
Omg please do a rabbit makeover video with them
Loved this vid! And after you brought up adopting I decided that I will adopt a bunny in a couple of weeks, and without you I wouldn’t have been aware that there are shelters with bunnies. So ty!❤
My 9 year old cousin has a pet bunny named coconut and they are literally best friends! my cousin knows how to take care of her rabbit really well, she has a little playpen with some toys and other things for coconut and she lets coconut free roam most of the time.
i work at a family owned pet store and it’s devastating how many people call around the holiday to inquire about purchasing an “easter bunny” for their children. it’s sad and infuriating.
Ive loved Bunnys my whole life and Ive always wanted one as a pet. Being my B day was on August I asked for one but me and my Family had to move.
2 years later Im still where I live and I now own a budgie. And hes the sweetest boy ever and he loves to sing and hop around.!
I plan to get a bunny someday,
Girlie got the BIGGEST ick from that family and there treatment to bunnies omg same
I got my rabbit when I was 12 actually and its been 2 years since I got her. I had started to want a bunny when I was 10 and researched a bunch of different foods they can eat, how much space different breeds need, materials needed, and different breeds themselves before finally getting her. So I think it depends on maturity level and responsibility rather than age really
I just want to add a comment on this topic of buy or adopt. Now I’m not talking about this family, but in general. Adoption of course is the better choice, but that thing is about buying is that adoption can be really hard. It of course takes time to adopt, but some people who rent houses might face a struggle with the requirement by the certain adoption center. Which could give a struggle with getting landlords involved and all that. But at the end of the day, if adoption can be done , then do it. That action will truly support the bunny world. Have a great day!
I alway get sos sad knowing that people just randomly get a bunny for there very young child for Easter then when Easter’s done they dumb the bunny a bunny is the same as cats and dogs you take care of them for as many year till they pass you don’t dump them and I rly home this family gets the help they need
i got bunnies, we actually caught them, they almost got un-alived by our neghbours' dog, so i caught them gently with my hands, got their vaccines, and made them an outdoor HUGE weather-proof hutch, I would've let them stay in the spare room of the house but it would be to dangerous. everyday they get timothy hay and pellets, water and I clean their litter box (i love the one you designed) and they both get loads of lettuce and love
She is a great person trying to help bunnies 🐰 I have one and I don’t regret geting him because he changed my life ❤❤❤
I have seen them before and they sure do seem like the type of parents to not actually care for animals but, instead just use them to keep there kids happy and occupied.
I hope that they see this video and, maybe take something from it instead of just take it as negativity because you're not bashing anyone you're just worried for the buns!
Thank you for posting this💕🐰
We have had ours 5 years! I have kids as well I don’t let them hold him unless I’m there to make sure they are holding him the right way never had issues thanks to your channel! ❤️ my hubs is allergic to him but we refuse to re home him we love him so much and he’s in better hands with us anyways 🐰🥰
My rabbit is my priority at all times. He is a kind big boy . 10 lbs at least. I took him to the grocery store on easter and as you know its never a hit but rather a smash !! They allnost cry as they melt . People just love rabbits . I make clear that my rabbit was adopted from a shelter.
What irks me is people buying pet rabbits as freakin EASTER GIFTS in the first place!!!!!! Like cmon! They're not toys! They're living critters that need care, love, maintenance and SO MUCH MORE! Tag with me: #StopPetRabbitEasterGifting!!!!!
I feel bad for these bunnies. I hope they do get the proper care they need and also when I got my bunny I had an opportunity to adopt him and I was so happy I did I don’t even know what breed he is but I love him more than anything I don’t know why people always need a specific breed to choose from. I love him because he’s so cute.
When the hop box comes to the Netherlands. i will buy it definitely. I am searching for something like that for so long. Love your channel ❤❤
@LennontheBunny Thank you for bringing these things to light. My mom and i each have a rex, lop, and harlequin mix bunny. Her's is a albino male that she named Sir Von Cadbury, my bunny is a calico female named Azula. We got them at Coastal at just the right time. They had been there for months already and the store employees were worried thst they would have to put them in a shelter or some sort of rabbit farm. We got them for $30.00. i dont regret that because idk what wouldve happened to them if we didnt purchase them when we did. And thanks to you and you're channel i managed to convince my dad to buy them for my mum and i. I now have a decent bond with Azula and shes almost four months old, geez times flies I've almost had her for a whole month 😮
I have 5 rabbits 2 are 5 years (fluffy and snuggles) 2 are 8 months (coco and snowball)and the last one is almost 2 months (marshmallow)and i love all of them with all my heart and i knew how hard it is to take care of all those rabbits when i got the second two and my little one but i had made a commitment to take care of them i just hope the labrant family has the same commitment with these bunnies and give them the love they deserve
As a person who rescues bunnies and has seen how horrible these poor creatures can often have it I do not think bunnies are a good choice for small children or for people who don’t have the time and commitment to properly care for them. They are great pets for the right person however most people don’t have a clue what these creatures are really about.
You should make the litter boxes available in NZ! ❤
She probably will. I believe she will have to deal with export taxes and other restrictions but I bet she will make it available to you one day!!
Great video lorelei! 🐰

"With great power comes great responsibility"
Oh! Amazing.
I certainly take care of my rabbits for their entire lives and make sure it is the best I can give them. Grass at their feet, a cold borrow in the summer and a warm borrow in the Winter.
Bunnies are for life. Not for Easter.
More setup reaction videos pleaseeeee
I wish i could give all the sad bunnies in shelters a good life.
The one thing I’m at least thankful for is that for the last 2 years, not just shelters, but even breeders around my area and a few others around Uk stop selling bunnies for around 2-3 weeks around Easter time and even Christmas time and put up signs and notifications that they will not be selling any bunnies around these time to reduce the amount of people who buy them just to dump them not long afterwards. Even all the local pet shops around me and others also don’t have rabbits to sell around these times and put up a notice that they do not encourage people just to buy them for their kids and how they are more than just cute animals but living creatures who deserve love, respect lots of care and they are a long terms commitment ❤
Though I personally still don’t support breeders and pet shops, I’m still at least grateful that there are more and more of them not selling their bunnies around Easter and Christmas time, though there is definitely much more they can improve on, I’m at least thankful that they are making some improvements xx
My rabbit has got it so good hes charging me rent.
The Labrant family just uploaded the video about there morning routine and Everligh showed the rabbits and talked about them for a short period of time.
My bunny has something called torticalise and we had to give her medicine but now she is better and we got her these cup things where she can take them out one by one and it’s so cute! She can only run around my room but she still is happy!❤
It makes me so sad that these poor bunnies are probably not gonna get the proper care they need and the kids are probably gonna ignore the bunnies in a couple weeks and wont take care of them.
Love the new litter box. Can u please make them beige/brown?
Omg the thinking they were a male lol I relate. I love my bun had her for five years now
I'm not surprised they're using rabbits as accessories. That's pretty much what they're using each other as. It's all about revenue.
7:03 yeah please don’t hold your rabbits life this!! 😭 they’re very delicate
LOVE YOUR VIDSSSS 💋💋💋❤❤❤
Im definitely going to get your litter box
That would be a great video maybe a collaboration - will benefit both of your channels and most of all for the good of the bunnies- a video of you meeting up with labrants and helping them create an awesome bunny habitat for their new furbabys. I think its always best not to pre-judge and to offer help and resources. Most people DO love their animals and DO want to to whats best for them, just might not know that they are missing information on how to provide better care and people can become defensive when they feel judged, especially on sensitive topics like this- it becomes sensitive because people DONT want to feel like they are hurting their animal or not giving them what they need. Offering help without judgement is the way to go . I would love to see it if you guys ever do meet up and do a video.
Hi Loreli I am not very mad that these youtubers got bunnies just as long as they take good care of theme. And yes everyone with a bunny should have the hop litter box
It makes me so upset to see rabbits being given out for Easter. I'll probably be volunteering at a rabbit shelter soon to try and help the ones that got dumped.
I did know there a shelter for bunny that awesome
i have a twelve year old (bunnyhearted and therian) we have done plenty of research so she knows the proper care. and for a fun fact a group of bunns is actually called a "fluffle"
I would love to see a video of u visiting a shelter to prove the dumping rates after Easter
I have been a subscriber of yours for years, I am from Russia. Here, the bunny situation is much worse, despite a great growing bunny community. Unfortunately there will always be either oblivious idiots or people who are literally arent able to feel sympathy for animals. This is either comes from high ignorance and self sense of importance or/and lack of education on behalf of animal world and pet care. What you do is incredibly important, i believe your reviews are what is helping solving part of the problem. However there always be people like this and I grew to accept that. This is why we globally need pet laws to help. Educational videos, books and on and on made by our loving comunity. Frankly I am nobody, but I am thinking of making a cartoon or book about bunnies for russian audience. At least when I ll feel ready because my bunny unfortunately passed away last spring from dental problems. I was also away, and not with her, so I felt like a biggest failure as an owner. Back then I also learned that pet graveyards are forbidden in russia. It's literally illegal. I mean i know the country is inhuman but they keep finding ways to surprise me.
Hopefully they take you up on that ❤ sometimes education is all that’s needed
MY BUNNY FREE ROAMS. IT TOOK ME A WEEK TO POTTY TRAIN.
Every Easter I dread that people buy bunnies like they buy toys for their young children, not even researching and preparing for having one. To me, having my bunny Chloe was like being pregnant for the first time and searching and looking over every single detail before almost a year of getting her.
