    Would like to have seen a pull gauge before and after on the triggers. Also would like to have heard you talk about the differences. Take up, break and reset. I'm looking at buying this gun for a green dot Holosun 508. I've had red dots on an M&P M2.0 9mm and a 10mm but I didn't care for either. The co-witness sights were a big distraction for me. I like standard height or none at all. From everything I'm hearing these guns have great triggers as is. If so I see no need to change. I know that some are trigger snobs but a polymer striker isn't a 1911. There is nothing like a 1911 with a great trigger.

    Great video? I just bought the PDP 2.0 after carrying the PPQ , since it came out around 2011. There is also a guide rod option that is supposed to be excellent , it’s by ZR Tactical Solutions , it’s supposed to dramatically enhance the shooting quality of the PDP. Thanks for the excellent video. I build ar15’s but wasn’t sure about doing the trigger on my PDP, but with your video I have the total confidence that I can do it myself. To me, Walthers are the best pistols on the planet. I’ve never had a single ftf with my PPQ, highly accurate and best triggers out there, imo.

      That pin has a much tighter fit than the other pin to the rear. It goes through the frame rail block so it takes more pressure to remove. The tolerance is much tighter in the metal frame rail block, we really had to put some muscle into that pin the first time it was removed.

    Just had to send my pdp into Walther due to having a failure to feed litteraly every other magazine and at the most random times, nomatter the place in the mag the round sits in and it's always the same exact ftf issue each time. The round will be pinched on the bottom of the feed ramp and bottom of the breach wall. I tried changing to a new oem guide rod and even a sprinco guide rod, no luck..... And it's not a magazine issue either, I'm able to get all 8 of my mags to inflict the issue. I take immaculate care of my pdp and treat it like my child so it kills me to not know what's causing the issue.... This started happening literally right at 1k rounds and I've always fed her great, normal pressure ammunition from Norma to federal hst and federal 115g fmj, never any steel case 😢😢😢

    I just looked up the stores and I didn't know that some in Ohio! I thought some in California cos 10 round count. This spring I'm gonna get married and we will go to Columbus we are around Cleveland area. But your prices are fantastic. When I order a PDP compact how much do you guys charge to change the sights and I'm a lefty so I need to switch the mag release button? I should send you guys an email to ask you guys that.

    Better use the original spring of the pdp. The spring provided with the trigger is heavier. - Or use the Sprinco spring kit.

      How is that so? Is it better then to buy a regular pdp and the Dynamic Performance Trigger individually than buying the PDP Pro Sd? Because of the spring?

      @@goran5088 there was no pro sd yet when i commented it. Sure you can buy a pro-sd and upgrade it with the Sprinco. It's the same trigger.

    Sounds like a good option for rural folks who live in low crime areas and face little risk of ever having to use a firearm in self-defense. For us city folk probably not so much. I can easily imagine a prosecutor asking why one chose to install a competition trigger kit in a carry gun.

    • @six66string
      @six66string Před 10 měsíci

      @@garrisonturner3232 it for sure is one of, if not the best stock triggers out there. I would swap it out because the trigger I’m talking about, the one that comes on the pro, is an upgrade from that. I’ve upgraded my compact to where it’s pretty much the pro version minus the trigger and threaded barrel. Just upgrades.

    I've fired a full size 4.5 (I think) at my local range and liked it's size and accuracy. Do you think it practical at all to carry IWB with a full size 4.5 or even a 5 or would it be too much of a pain and I should just go with one of the compact models?

    • @VanceOutdoors
      @VanceOutdoors  Před 2 lety +2

      It's all personal preference, body size/shape, and how you carry it. Some have no issues hiding a full-size gun, and others cannot, even if they wanted to! A carry gun is a tool. Not necessarily meant to be your range gun, but something practical to carry all the time. If that is a full-size gun, it's a full-size gun. But you want something you don't ever worry about concealing, meaning size-wise. If you worry about it, you will find more reasons to leave it at home on the dresser, or in the safe, VS on your person. Coming from a 5' 8" 160 LB guy who carries that exact gun in the video appendix, with extra mag daily!

      @@VanceOutdoors And does the difference in grip between the compact model and the full size matter aside from capacity? I carry a CCP and it fits my hand well but I'm not very satisfied with it when I take it to the range. And when I fire the PDP full size, there's half an inch or so of empty space below my hands on the grip, but I like the feel and accuracy seems just fine.

I have seen other guys using a fixed camera overhead which works very well. But the content here is obviously very good.

      Manufacturers cannot add value w/o adding cost. Fewer units would be sold at higher prices. They have all that figured out before a new model is produced. Different makes also have different attributes. They have have different costs to consider. Walther and Springfield each build their guns in different ways. If your plan was followed guns would be nearly the same and too expensive to sell.
