Probably not the only stoner that can say if marijuana psychosis was a think I’d have got it by now. Im 24 been smoking daily for pretty much a decade as much as I can everyday. I got mental health problems like everyone, severe depression, severe anxiety, ptsd. Never once had a bad thought from weed. Honestly to bring up an example, I lost my grandpa last year. Our family was fighting over the little bit he left everyone with and tensions were high. My uncle tried to fight my mom in front of me, I feel like if it wasn’t for weed that situation would have ended worse. I made him calm down and sit down and talk like a man to my mom and made him know if he did anything he’d regret it. I didn’t snap I kept my calm. Long story short after it was all said and done I had a lot of time to dwell on it. He got almost everything my grandpa owned for nothing, he’s a drunk with no job and got everything. I wanted to act out and do something about it myself, I feel like weed prevented it. I could smoke a bowl and tell myself I’ll figure it out tomorrow. If it wasn’t for weed I feel like I’d have done a lot of shit out of anger I would have regretted. I get mad as fuck sometimes and when I smoke a joint it’s like my problems just seem minuscule, they are still there I just look at them in a different perspective and find a reason not to be as upset.
It's always surprising to see someone comment on something so similar to what you're going through in life, all the best and lots of love in your life bro. At one point we had to lock are selves in a room just from how bad he was freaking out and breaking things and swinging at us. We ended up calling the police and he swung at one of the officer before they arrested him and took him to the hospital. It was messed up after he woke up in the hospital the next day he recalls everything that happened but felt like he had no control over his actions he felt like shit and was crying and so hard on himself. I've been through drug induced psychosis. Stimulant psychosis & benzo withdrawal psychosis. I still had enough of my mind to know violence is wrong. When I was going through the worst of the meth psychosis I heard an entire conversation my husband had with his friend about killing me. They were in reality discussing something completely different but I heard what I heard. I was terrified all the time. Deep feelings of panic & doom. Everything is bad & everyone is after you type thing. I tore my car apart looking for microphones & cameras. I may have wanted to hurt myself but never someone else. Not even my husband when I thought he wanted to kill me. Cannibis has never made me feel like that! I'm a daily smoker. When I first started I would experience panic attacks sometimes but nothing even close to what I went through with meth, cocaine psychosis or severe acute benzo withdrawal psychosis. Psychedelics have never done me that way either. I believe there has to be more to this story. She had violent thoughts before this ever happened. That's what I think. Cannibis induced psychosis is real but rare. A panic attack you might feel, but full blown psychosis is very rare.
Same thing happened in France, an Islamist immigrant broke into an elderly Jewish woman’s home, yelled “Allah Akbar” and killed her. The judge said he wasn’t responsible for his actions due to cannabis. I think he didn’t even have to go to trial!! Now, I’ve never taken to cannabis, each time I tried to smoke, it would make me feel paranoid, my brain just couldn’t handle it, BUT I NEVER felt violent towards anyone or myself. I just waited for my brain to get through the “different levels” breathing through it the best I could. IMO I think you have to already have violent tendencies to behave the way these people did.

I'm never smoking pot again 😂😂😂
This plant helps me overcome a lot of trauma, and it's definitely not like I numb myself and forget about the problem, it's almost the opposite. A self-confrontation that I must have, I must resolve and I must overcome.
Because of this. People who commit crimes on weed will now start saying this as an excuse if caught.
