There have only been a few celebrity losses that have brought me to tears… Hers is one of them. A very impactful and sad loss for me. I remember seeing her on TV as a kid and thinking, “If only I could be HER. She seems so strong, beautiful and like she’s having the time of her life.” She was the ultimate performer. Every ounce of energy she had, she gave to her fans!! I’m so sorry she was suffering in her final years, but she had finally found peace and a partner that treasured her until the end. I listened to her music throughout my life, and was fortunate enough to see her in 1987 in Denver, CO with my two dear friends that have long since passed. It was an amazing night, and one I will never forget. The heavens just received a legend, and the heavenly choir has yet another amazing voice to add to those who were also music icons many of us loved and admired as well. I would like to think that my two friends were there to greet her into the everlasting. I could only imagine what that heavenly choir sounds like now.... RIP Tina - 💔🙏
