Defender, which have been provided by Jaguar Land Rover Special Operations, will feature in Spectre, the 24th James Bond adventure.
Shooting of Spectre has commenced in Austria and scenes which feature the heavily modified Land Rover Defenders & Range Rover Sport SVR have already been filmed.
The highly capable Defenders were constructed by the Special Operations division and feature huge 37-inch diameter off-road tyres to tackle the extreme terrain. They also feature bespoke suspension and enhanced body protection. The Range Rover Sport SVR featured in the film is the fastest and the most powerful Land Rover ever.

Like others have pointed out... The answer is "No". How could the Land Rover be "reminiscent" of something it came before? It can't! The Scout is reminiscent of the Land Rover. That's how this whole precedence thing works.

this is only a concept vehicle and id not road legal in europe, there were only 10 made and went to collectors, Boler who does all the race off road versions of the defender 110 series did allot of the underpinnings work and i believe the diesel tune was done by them also, they were built for some special off road snow compettion in Austria. Super pricing.

They don't meet safety regs. in the UK. Can't drive 'em. They've even been crushing them. Not much hope for them in the U.S. either, because they are extremely difficult to import. But if you do have one stateside, it could fetch as much as $50K.
Jake Ballard Are you referring to the Defender in general? Yes it's true production has been halted because they don't meet standards but if you already own one, you can of course keep using it. Even if this particular vehicle was not road legal in the UK, you could still get it on the road by changing vehicle type Q plating it etc; there is always a way. The only Defenders being crushed in the US are ones that have been illegally imported since the ban.
