Back in 1984 I was living in Tottenham, a suburb of London. I was working in the mountaineering trade at the time, and was an active climber and caver. Late one night I heard shouting from the street that ran parallel behind our house, separated by the gardens of each street. Looking out over the back gardens I could see that the commotion involved the house directly behind ours, which was unlit - someone in the street there shouted "I know you're in there!" - so I got my Tekna torch out. 50000 candlepower from a handheld torch very similar to the one in the video with the zenon bulb and burned out 8 duracell AA batteries in not much over an hour. Quite the thing nearly 40 years ago. I floodlit the whole of the back of that house with it, and 2 minutes later the police arrived. Got 'em no trouble. Burglars. Owners on holiday.

@@gametown4712 Still a good message - I once worked at Spray-On Products in Ohio - they put stuff in spray cans - and almost daily we had cans exploding. Had a guy, with safety glasses on, almost lose an eye as a piece of shrapnel embedded itself just above the safety glasses above his eye. Those cans would go off at random, sometimes just pop, sometimes spin around, sometimes spin then explode, you'd never know.
The difference of the two flashlights were night and day; and I must say, if I haven't already, the guy that wore his Z-87 ansi approved safety glasses is an absolute legend. Him showing his mishap will definitely make me were my Safety G's while working with cutting wheels to infinity and beyond.

I have an explanation as to why the lady went under the fire hose. The lady probably works a job where she is moving around something on wheels. Whether it be an ultrasound machine, trash cans, a maintenance buggy, whatever. You can’t just go around driving things that you’re pushing over wires and she’s probably habitually trained to lift them up and go under. I say this from experience. I work in a hospital doing cardiac ultrasound and anytime I go into an ICU room and there’s a million cords and wires I have to lift them up over my machine to get it situated. Maybe she just got off work and was still in autopilot from being at work all day.

That square cloud looked like a straight up reality glitch.
Since the guy started on his back and landed on his face he managed 8.5 flips (one half turn off from landing on his back again) which is ridiculous. I was never an amazing gymnast, but even pulling a double or triple is hard because the rotational force is STRONGLY trying to tear your body open from a tucked position. He is doing what is called "cowboying" where he pulls his knees to the side of his body to minimize his size and get even faster rotation. Very impressive, and scary too, since landing on one of those trampolines at even a slightly wrong angle from that height can send you careening off 20 feet in a direction. I once dove over a foam pit onto a tumbling floor across a ~15ft gap by intentionally hitting the tramp at a bad angle and it felt equal parts exhilarating and suicidal (but it had to be done).

You don't really need to speculate once you start a relationship with God.

I think it's great how people seem to forget how champagne works every single time they open it and proceed to try to cover it with their hand, and when that fails, they bring it closer to their body. I'm genuinely convinced the whole idea of champagne was a practical joke that most of the population never understood.
